I was so disappointed with the interaction between Saumya and Anika today. I know Anika is hurt and angry because of this betrayal but shouldn't she at least give a chance to Saumya for her to talk? Why is no one wondering why she is doing what she is doing? Anika and Saumya were so close at one point and since Saumya has been back, even before she was revealed to be evil, her relationship with Anika and Om specifically was lacking immensely.
In yesterday's episode when Anika revealed the truth, everyone just accepted it and no one bothered to question it. They were all hurt but I wish they had tried to get a reason. And today I was really hoping that Saumya would tell Anika her pain, her hurt and betrayal at the hands of Rudra and the whole Oberoi family and Anika would understand. I love Anika to bits but it seemed almost cruel to me how she shut down Saumya. They both are surrounded by flames of their own anger.
I am a fan of Saumya, regardless of Ruvya or Rumya and this is not a bashing post at all. I am not taking sides and even if one is picking a side to support we should not be rude or disrespectful to the actors who are only playing roles given to them. I am just stating my opinion about one particular scene and how I wished it had been used to bring to light Saumya's pain in front of the Oberois. I don't know if by making Saumya evil the CV's want us to like Bhavya more and I am not going to comment on whether its working or who the end game is but either way I don't want Saumya's hurt and humiliation to be undermined and I had hoped that Anika of all people, who Saumya supported and loved in her hard times, would question her motives.
