Let the youth lead the nation.

Hello friends !

Majority of Indian politicians are too old. Some of them can not even stand up without using a stick. How will the leaders, who themselves cannot support themselves without stick, will support the nation of 100 crore population to rise up from social stigmas, poverty, illiteracy, unemployment and corruption ?

Devang Nanavati said "At 70, we become grandfathers, not leaders."A powerful thought.

I think the nation should be lead by the Youth Power. The youth of present India is smart, powerful, dynamic, dedicated and intelligent eoungh to choose between the right and wrong.

But the image of politics and politicians on the minds of the youth is negative enough to forbear the idea of joining politics and change the system.

The time to change ourselves is now. It is NOW or NEVER. Let's change ourselves, then the system will change on its own, because we define the system.

I agree as well. With youth, comes change. Most old people do not like change, and I'm sure if we have some young leaders we will definitely see some change for the better.

Youth mean between 40--60 ..is it!!!?😳😊

Politics is not kids game..........very difficult to became a leader......Every politician must know tactics n some trics to control the mass, age is not a matter here,people look their works n image now a days.😊

Good point Vinu.. Exactly same problem with Obama in the US.. young and not enough national experience.. infact can't remember any of his speeches he gave or what he stands for. Problems most young face when entering politics, too idealistic.

I believe that youth means energy. The old ages politicians are barely using their wisdom to remove the obstacles of the present day nation. Youth are the backbone of the nation. In politics, the youth should be in majority, only the wisdom of the aged politics should be used.

Youth??? Youth that can understand both the young generation, do stuff for current and secure the intersts of future generations?

Hmm let first check how many youths are taking care of thier parents currently...do I need to say more 😉

Age is no bounds it's the versatile mind set...and seeking the masses interest in betterment of whole society cum Nation... well have already expressed my views starting afresh on many posts...so will leave this one here 😛

Lighty, you mean an idealistic person is not good for politics. In my opinion these few idealistic persons are controlling the corrupted politics(that is avoiding too much corruption)-. some may in long run become corrupted, but the idealistic youth are the back bone of Indian politics. But now a days those youngsters who atracted to politics are sons of politicians and I have no faith in them .

@ raj, All youth are not as you said, still old values are there, agree to the remaining part..
