Okay, I was up pretty much the whole night coz I couldn't sleep and was surfing the net and happened to come across this piece of news.
Of course, my first reaction was dismissal, coz I thought it was a hoax.
Turns out it's true, she died of a cardiac arrest late last night... since reading this news I've been feeling so horribly depressed and sad. I mean, she was just 54, that's too young an age to say goodbye to the world! Neither was she suffering from any health disorder, nor was her personal life in shambles. She looked fitter than ever, glowing and resplendent in all her recent outings. Come to think of it, she was looking forward to her daughter's debut just a few months away.
I am at a loss for words.
This is so so shocking, because it is telling that there is no timeline on death. Life truly is so so short and though we might feel everything is alright on the surface, or even within the inner corners of our lives, anything can happen, anytime.
Still can't wrap my head around this - she was gorgeous, glowing, fit - how the hell did the cardiac arrest happen then? I know this probably sounds illogical, but if a healthy lifestyle cannot save you from a heart attack, what can?
My condolences to her family who've been bereaved of her too soon.
RIP Sridevi. You will be missed - as the wide-eyed girl who knocked people's socks off and left them entranced in Hawa Hawai.
