The two very things that Sahil is in between, i wouldnt say stuck between also but these two things he feels entirely so much for Vedika. And Vedika also has much respect for Sahil and his feelings for her but she also cannot reciprocate his love.
Beautiful scenes as always by Sahil and Vedika, their scenes are so simple but oozing with chemistry and their dialogues and emotions always hits the mark.
Sahil does not ever want a thanks from Vedika, her even thinking about saying thanks is enough for him.
Sahil and Arya scene, he calmly tells her off for running away and how her mother would be devastated, and again it shows how he puts Vedika first always... the lovely thing about Sahil is he also makes Arya understand, that she needs to see her mother's pov... that her mother has a long list of ppl and that Arya is at the top and then her Nani, and herself is at the bottom... she takes of Arya and her mother first...and also notices what the society say but not once thinks about herself and her needs.
As much as Sahil puts Arya's feelings and Vedika's feelings first, he is the one who is getting hurt... and those tears just escape his eyes. I feel for Sahil!
The bandage scene!
Simplicity. chemistry, emotions, sadness, simple words thats what the scene was filled with...
Vedika and Sahil know each other well enough that they would not do such things as what other ppl tell them... like Sahil would kidnap Arya or Vedika would call the police on him... and i liked how Sahil admitted that yeah he did prompt Arya against this marriage and against Gautam, and says Vedika knows why he did that and he is sorry
I loved that we had a teary Vedika talking to a sleepy Sahil, and we get to know that Vedika knows how Sahil feels about her and its not been dismissed as a crush... (because even she can't deny this is some passing crush, since thats what most ppl like to put it down too... since he explained in the confrontation scene last week, he loves her and he didnt plan to go and fall for a older woman but because of her, he is also changing and he values her and her thoughts, her intelligence etc... all that is genuine and real love with real feelings).
And then saying she can't ever feel this way for Sahil, and labels how they have a very big distance in age - 18 years... and life... she has lived her life for 40 yrs and she has seen so much in her long life, and Sahil is young, and his life is only just beginning and has his whole life ahead of him. Vedika is not wrong to think like this, its only natural... As much as Vedika say this will never happen... her eyes say so much and ache! And the only thing she can say to him, is Bye, and their path are seperate from now... I wonder just how seperate it can be... when these two are meant to be... only time will tell again... if those paths will merge.
I also feel like Vedika's mum is not wrong in her thinking... i am glad that Nani (i guess i will call her that lol) saw herself what Sahil feels for Vedika instead of overhearing Sahil and Vedika. Nani says his eyes says alot. I also feel like anybody would think that a young man like Sahil will move onto someone else in due time... that again is a natural thinking of anyone who sees a young man fall for a older woman BUT we as audience knows that is not happening.
Right now i totally like that for Vedika, this marriage happening is wrong, and one decision she took in a haste... for sure she has another reason and that is Arya and how she feels, but deep down Vedika knows she is not completely for it. And as for Sahil in this equation... i am glad Vedika overall feels SHE is not for it... and that Sahil is not overall the reason because for me and for Vedika's character in how she has been till now, i think i needed to see Vedika feeling this herself not someone else just being there too.
And then Nani hits the bullseye with saying Vedika says something with her mouth but her eyes say something else.
Coming back to the Love and Respect scene... which again was a beautiful line Sahil said...
As much as he loves her, he respects her even more. Tthat he wants to make her his, but he does not want to force his love on her... but he knows for sure one thing that she is stopping herself from falling in love, and loving him.
I find no one in this situation wrong or for what they think - Sahil, Vedika, Arya and Nani all had views and reactions!
