Kedarnath might not be Sara Ali Khan's debut

Sara Ali Khan, daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh was all set to step into the Hindi film industry with Kedarnath, a romantic drama directed by Abhishek Kapoor. Sushant Singh Rajput was to be her co-star and the film was set against the backdrop of Kedarnath floods. However, there are reports that the film currently has ground to a halt as a rift has emerged between Abhishek Kapoor and KriArj Entertainment who are co-producing the film.

Reports claim that Sara Ali Khan wants to move ahead with other projects. Sara wants to work in Rohit Shetty's Simmba opposite Ranveer Singh for which Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor is also being considered. Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath is unable to steer clear from the cloud of controversy that is surrounding it currently, so Sara's decision seems practical. It is also being said that Saif Ali Khan is searching for other debut options for Sara. Now whether he agrees to produce a film for her lies in the heart of the future. Both Simmba and Kedarnath were expected to hit the theatres in December this year. Would Sara make a debut in a Rohit Shetty actioner? Let's wait and watch.
