The part where Prakash shoots himself was a dream of Avni's right, so was that whole scene where police comes to the Khanna house was a dream as well.
Avni knows the truth and now with her "fake death this secret will be kept a secret. And the last we've seen about VR is that he's arrested.
Neela, the one that united our AvNeil, such an integral part of the show - will her death remain a mystery? Or unless VR confesses to all his crimes, which we are yet to see.
