Leaving Diya on mandaap couldn't pour enough water on his revenge fire. He wanted to hurt her but she is enjoying her honeymoon with a guy, more younger, more richer and more charming.

So, Abhay is back on business to create rift between Ratan and Diya i.e. to take revenge from Diya.



Simple question, what would you do if you were Abhay?

Same. But Abhay seems obsessive. Anything he attempts, he wants to fully accomplish it. In this case, he wants Diya to be alone and miserable. So I can't imagine him giving up till he attains this goal.
