I am really liking Detective Didi. It is different and way better than most of the trp ruling shows. I know it is not perfect (well no indian show is) but it is far better than many shows. And I just love BSB. He is such an amazing character and Manish is just nailing it. Also, the chemistry between Sonia and Manish is amazing.
But I am really surprised as to why it is not being promoted. I think it can do better trp wise if it was promoted properly. Without any promotion it is getting 0.7/0.6 trp. If promoted well it may get above 1. Online viewship will also increase.
The cast and crew are putting a lot of efforts into this show. Their efforts and hard work should be recognized.
Makers should consider the following
- Segments on SBS/SBB/etc. Fans will have an idea of what's coming up and stay connected with the show during weekdays. (I know reporters cannot come to Delhi but recorded segments with interview from the leads can be sent to them to air)
- Send the leads in different cities for promotion. I remember shows falling in trp and gaining trp even with crappy tracks after this type of promotion.
- More promotion on Zeetv. I think currently it is one small promo that come late in the week. There should more promos and it should start early in the week.
- Show and the leads should be promoted on Zeetv social media.
- The leads should continue promoting on their social media. They did in the beginning but they should continue.
Really hope this show gets well promoted and gets recognized.
