What an excellent post...Saw the episode again after reading your post...You and Nivi bring out so many points that I fail to see the first time...It makes the episode more and more enjoyable...

Sameer came back... Dil hai ki maanta nahin! 😛 He didn't want to leave without making sure that she was ok... so he risked coming back just to get a reassurance. And like he suspected she was up there, all alone hoping to catch a glimpse of him with tears in her eyes... tears for him 😳 Is this the same Sameer who once used to get irritated by her tears, complained to Mundit that she was a tears factory and cried at the drop of a hat... and now with immense patience he cajoled her, pacified her... not a glimpse of irritation anymore, because in her tears he finds love and care for himself.

Remember his first day, how he tried his best to say bye to her... and since then he has always seen her before leaving... he just cannot leave like that. And especially not today of all days!

Love how he gazed at her and realized that she was agitated, and hurt... and that scene where he simply holds the booth and smiles... can they be more understanding. 😳

You are right... he called but didn't know what to say... and then heard 'Sameer mat jao'... wow! This was from the girl who a few days back told him to go and leave her alone! And now he is her world and she couldn't see him leaving like that, after bearing all the humiliation.

She tells him she cannot go to the wedding without him... she wants him to be there to share all the wedding rituals. ..Then she told him he cannot put their names on the wedding card like that, he cannot join their names... 😳

She tells him she will not dress up if he didn't come... she wants to dress up only for him, for he made her feel beautiful inside and out... he saw the beauty in her that no one else did and made sure no one spoke ill of her or made her feel any less pretty... she saw the effect she has been having on him everytime he stared at her... but what did he say that other night ...when her dress ripped... tumhe log aise dekhenge toh mujhe acha nahin lagega! He was possessive that day and she is proud to be that possession today. 😳

Then she says she will go but won't wear the lehenga or anything else... she will be a plane jane at the wedding... what was it he told her on haldi... haldi ke rang se shuruaat hui hai.. agla rang laal hoga... and since then he has filled her world with lots of colors ending with the multi colored bangle that she wore with full haq only hours earlier...

Finally she says, she will also dress up but not be happy at the wedding...her happiness was from him, his presence... what was the promise he made to himself in the hospital... tum hasogi naina, tum phir se kulke hasogi aur main tumhare sabse badi khushi ka kaaran abnoonga... and he is now, because she is telling she cannot be happy without him...

A peace spread over him when he heard that... but how can he let her be sad...loved how he gently coaxed her, told her she was his heroine, asked her if she believed that... and this time he didn't have to ask ha ya naa... with a shy smile she accepted it... and he proceeds to call her house his sasuraal, just in case she doesn't misunderstand... wow, what an indirect way of saying you have accepted me and i'm going to marry you one day... of course he also tells her about her bidai... slowly exploring that permanence that only marriage brings... their love is changing, they are changing... they are maturing and beginning to understand the depth of this bond they have...

When he left his entire journey in her house came to her mind... with this conversation, everything they talked about since he came to her house came back a full circle... with every sentence they spoke they completed a loop... How poetic it was! 👏

A big big applause once again to the dialog writers who thought of every small thing... and another big applause for these two actors who could evoke so much love without even looking at each other, without even sharing screen space! 👏

That moment when Sameer suddenly recalled that he was asked to leave was enacted excellently by Randeep... he just stood still as if not knowing what to do next... its like he needed to reorient his compass... and then he finds that wedding card he made... and found his anchor in that card and kissed it. Once again his direction was clear... he will get her one day, but he cannot hurry and spoil everything by gate crashing into the wedding... Then comes his biggest hope, supporter and guide... his Nanu. Again loved how Randeep enacted that... he just ran into the waiting arms of the only adult who loves him... whom he considers 'Home'...

The conversation with the boys was excellent... but contrast it to the conversation before Nanu left... it was his first day back...all Sameer had then was his courage and a small hope that he would succeed... and watch him today... his eyes were lit, they were shinning with love and he was contended... even Nanu could see that. 😃 So what if he could not attend the wedding, though he would love to... but he knew his life partner would be with him always... he was never going to be lonely again. 😃 Similar to how Sameer talked about marriage to Naina, Nanu solidifes it by saying that Sameer has found his humsafar and will reach all his goals with her by his side... but I don't know how to take this statement now. I don't want to think the worst... this could also mean that Sameer would become more serious about his life goals, since he already knows he will soon marry... maybe we will see him taking up responsibilities in Nanu's business... there may be more connection with Varun too.

Wedding chaos at Naina's house seemed so real... provided some comedy... and amidst it Naina acknowledges to Preeti that she has formally accepted Sameer... honestly I didn't expect to see the cassette scene... these CVs are really thorough... since they haven't disappointed so far, I think we will still get the mehendi and Pooja scenes too... fingers crossed. 😃
