Guys,
Here is the next part.
Chapter 1: Shades of Affection
"What are you doing? What if someone comes in here?" Naina asked looking around the empty classroom, breathless with the kiss she just experienced. The kiss had driven away the bitter memories of those hurtful words away, for now.
"Hello Madam! I am Sameer Maheshwari. I plan everything carefully. There is no class here now. And there are no windows. You should know me by now." Sameer smirked at her.
"You still are as arrogant as ever!" Naina removed Sameer's hand from her waist and tried to sit on the desk.
"And you are as short as ever!" Sameer teased her as he held onto her waist again and lifted her to the desk. Even with her sitting on the desk, she was still at Sameer's eye level.
"I am not that short!" gasped Naina.
"You keep telling yourself that." Sameer replied only to get hit by her on his arms.
"Why did you pull me into the room?"
"What do you mean, Why? Do you need another demonstration?" Sameer went close to Naina's lips. Naina pushed him away and gave him a look that suggested he better give her real answers or else!
As with any male in a relationship, Sameer was well versed in survival instincts. He quickly kneeled down and got hold of Naina's ankles.
"What are doing? You mad or what?" Naina tried to pry away her legs in vain.
"I wanted to give you this." Sameer lovingly tied the silver anklet on one of the Naina's ankles and caressed her feet.
"Sameer, we have talked about this. No expensive gifts. You can't spend so much money on me".
Sameer looked up to Naina and asked softly, "If not you, there is no one else to whom I can buy anything. Yes, I have money, more than I know what to do with. Can't you understand my need to shower you with everything I have?"
Tenderly caressing his face, Naina replied with all the love she had for him, "I know that. And I know you. You don't have to give these gifts to prove that you love me. I feel it every time I look into your eyes. And moreover, I don't have anything to buy you something. You know my pocket money barely covers my expenses."
Sameer stood up angrily and moved towards the door. For him it was just money. What he and Naina had was more than everything. He never could understand her being conscious of his money. So what that her family is not rich by money, he always thought she was far richer than him for having a family.
Naina observing her Sameer, was amused by his anger. Although his anger had toned down a lot in the last couple of years, there were still some moments when it would rear its head. She also knew how to calm him down.
"You forgot the other leg." Naina called out to Sameer.
She always could bring him down from his angry horse very quickly, Sameer smiled to himself. He strolled back to her and finished the task he had set to do.
"So..." he asked playfully.
"So..." Naina replied coyly.
And then they laughed, remembering all those times when one was angry and the other managed to appease. After each such fight this was their game.
"You are lucky Arjun Bhai is not here searching for me" Naina said after few seconds.
"How can he? He is busy fighting with Shefali, again."
"I think they secretly like each other."
"Arjun and Shefali? You have gone mad. Your brother does not have even a bit romance in his bones. He is does not do love, my love".
"Sameer...don't talk about my brother like that. Why do you guys don't like each other? I never understand this male ego clash."
"And don't try to understand. It is between Arjun and me."
While Sameer tweaked Naina's nose, she looked at the time on his watch and gasped aloud.
"Sameer, I have to go home. It is time. Bye" Naina ran towards the door.
"You and your excuses! I hate that you have to go so early. Can't you stay for some more time?"
"You know how it is. If I have to meet you in the future, I have to toe the line. Bye."
"Bye." Sameer sighed, knowing that he has to wait for another day to get her all for himself again.
