That made me think...

Maybe he was in love with Muskaan before and she didn't reciprocate? That's why he's always fighting with her you know... to cover up his feelings and he just thinks he's in 'love' with Riddhimma (because she's being so nice to him ever since he came to Sanjeevani)?

The old feelings for Muskaan may resurface...
