Hello!

As I'm working from home today, I couldn't post a long update!

Hope you all like this!

Part 29 (Previous part : Part 28 )

As the crowd stood there to witness the coronation, the music filled the air, ending with toners of applause as silence reigned the room for once.

On one side stood the couple with evil plans while on the other side, the royal family made their presence effortless along with the lady who is playing the role of the tutor.
Standing in front of the mike, the Prime Minister started his speech
"Members of Parlement, guests of honours and friends. On this glorious Christmas event, this night, in the season of hope and new beginnings, his Royal Highness, Prince Suraj, Son of King Kamal Narayanan, presents his rightful claim" as Prince turned on his right while the PM turned to his left, and faced the Prince "To the crown and throne of the Kingdom of Canamaris." he ended as everyone clapped.
With one side, Queen being proud of the event and Pakhi happy for his brother and Chakor glad to be assisting the event.
Whereas on the other side stood, Vivaan clapping his hand with straight face and Imli standing by his side with a face of innocence.

Suraj went on his knee, with his left hand resting on his tight, and head facing the soil, he put down his another knee down to start the real ceremony.
Taking the sceptre from near the crown, the Prime Minister neared the Prince and stood right there "Suraj, do you pledge your life and fealty to Canamaris and all her subjects?"
Lifting his head, looking at his mother with a confident look before he turned his head to the man in front of him and said "Yes! I do!"
"Do you swear to protect her to uphold her sacred laws in times of wealth or poverty?" the PM continued as Suraj took hold of the sceptre "In peace or war?"
"I do!" he said looking at his mother this time as she nodded in acknowledgement.
Securing the sceptre in his hand, he looked on as the old man continued his speech and work.

Facing the crowd, the Prime Minister once asked "In any of the peerage wish to dispute Prince Suraj's claim to the throne may speak now, or forever stay silent." he ended.
As if waiting on the queue, Imli moved forward, lifting her right hand in air "I dispute this claim" she said as the crowd started to disperse with this change of the event.
"What can it be" one guest.
"Why is she doing this?"
"How can she?"
"Interesting!" and like this, the room echoed with multiple comments and views and questions.

So Imli will take center stage while Vivaan will act shocked 😡, she'll take pleasure in destroying Suraj 😡.

Hope Imvaan's victory is short lived and Sukor's bond gets stronger.

I read the last few parts in one go...

lovely so here is my comment

About the kiss😳 was it too early ... no I did not feel it as it was rushed... emotions of Suraj as I always say is (be it show or your stories my dude is always clear, but slow, steady and focussed...) so through his interactions the rhythm is created slow and then when it is on its ebb it has to and it was so,lovely but in my hindthought I wish she could have told about her true self as I donot want him to feel cheated as he will break as he had already by that ***** but still quite interesting...

loved the Ball room and the proceedings where my heart is still thomping... but hope someody throw something on that ***** and she just disappears in thin air and let my SUKOR just lead a fairy tale life...

hmmm

But maithu just loved the flow

loved CHAKI bonding and hope Paaki does something to help out my adories...

Part 30 (Previous part : Part 29 )

With a mocking look towards the Royal family, she faced the Prime Minister and said "I challenge on the grounds that the Prince Suraj is not the rightful heir." And the commotion around them grew "Because this fraudulent Christmas Prince is not the blood of the late King!"

The reporter looked around her as fear took over her, not only for her identity but for the Royal family too.

Suraj who was standing on the stage looked confused with a look saying 'What's happening?' As Pakhi who was by her mother looked shocked and stunned.

Getting on his feet, putting the scepter on its place, he continued to listen what his his ex-flame has to tell more.

Pulling out the document, holding it facing everyone "This document states that Prince Suraj is in fact adopted!" She finished as Vivaan looked at her happily with crowd murmuring in background.

Getting down from stage, Prime Minister showed his hand asking for that document "Let me see it!" He said in order to check it.

Passing the paper to him, she stood alongside Vivaan with a victorious smile.

Reading and rereading it, he questioned "Where did you obtain it?" Facing Imli.

"I obtained it by uncovering the scheme of a journalist!" She said making Chakor to tremble as Pakhi looked confused of who she is talking about and if it can be her friend "Posing as the tutor of the Princess!" She added looking at the lady she is pointing out.

The whole room erupted with murmurs and eyes on her, as Prince looked on more disappointed than before.

The Prime Minister who was listening attentively to the short story, turned to his right and asked "Is that true that you are a journalist?"

Bending her head, she lifted her eyes with a sorry filled orbs as she looked at the Prince "Yes! I'm!" She pronounced making his heart to shatter in zillions of pieces as the little bit trust he had on her got demolished by herself.

Pakhi couldn't say anything as she felt sorry for her friend as it's the truth which got revealed and not a lie.

Facing the Queen, showing the paper he was holding, Prime Minister questioned "And this paper, your Majesty?" With everyone looking at the Prude woman of the country.

She with her head held high "Is legitimate!" She declared and even before she could finish her line, she cried "Suraj!" and moved towards the stage seeing her adopted son get down of the stage "Please Suraj! Wait!" Was the last thing she could say before he get disappeared behind the curtains with everyone enjoying the Royal family show.

Chakor who felt hurt and guilty, took hold of her long gown and turned on her heels and ran towards the door, leaving everyone to think whatever they want to.

However Prime Minister needed to do his loyal work, so got back on the stage but even before he could say anything, someone else opened their mouth.

"Canamaris can't allow an illegitimate heir" Imli "To hero the Royal the one!" She finished.

Finding this situation to be favorable, Vivaan got on the stage announcing "As the nephew of the King," facing the crowd "And closest male relation in the Royal bloodline," pausing for a second "I humbly present myself for fair and rightful claim to the throne of Canamaris!" He added "With Lady Imli by my side as my Queen!" He finished gesturing his hand towards his Lady who was showing all her teeth.

With this announcement or statement of his, Queen looked hurt and cheated with their acts while the whole room went silent for a moment before acknowledging his right with a thunder of applause.
