Rushed plot.
Repeating and recycling lines: "jab tak shivay hai, hum logo ka kuch nahi bigad sakta"..."dadi aapka billu agaya na? aab sab kuch thik ho jayega",
these color coordination and "one for all, all for one" school play - do they have like a family groupchat where they decide at night what color to wear the next day? may be they have enough spare times to practice for the "one for all, all for one" that they keep chanting, that too, holding hands and standing in a straight line?
Leaving numerous tracks and characters unfinished - Let's not even get there...
and ABOVE ALL,
OVERDOING so many shivika scenes - too many NDEs at onces, too many similar scenes, too much "tumhe kuch nahi hone doonga main anika"...
yaar i'm probably the biggest NDE fan, I love it too when I see the SSO saving the family and when Anika says that no one can destroy them now that Shivay is here, I love to see a powerful and superior SSO destroying those morons too, I admire this family when they stand together as one against the evil... but what're you doing? pouring all those onto the audience, all at once? Recasting the same kind of scene over and over again? showing that they can only stand together as one by standing in a line, wearing color coordinated clothes and chanting the same line over and over again and then when it actually comes to facing their enemy, Shivay decides to be the great wall of SSO, and keep everything a secret from not only the elders but also, his brothers and wife? Showing that you can just poke a pin and the person next you can be paralyzed until you're done iterating your words? just mix some kind of capsule in the liquid and the person is gonna do whatever you want them to do? I know IB has never been logical and it's a crime to expect any normal aspect from the show. but THIS?
Where's my old IB that I used to fight for and make positive posts on? Where do I find some newness? where did the show as glorious and unique as this lose its charm? Where are they going wrong?
Those who know me, know what a die hard fan I am of Ishqbaaaz. If you ever followed my posts, you already know that my posts never consisted of disappointment and I always used to extract the positive detail even from a terrible episode. I'm not saying I used to be that way because they did not show any illogical stuff, or unfinished tracks. The show consisted of just as much unjustifiable concepts as it does now, if not more. But all those used to become a negligible factor to me due to the gripping story line, the UNIQUE charm in each character, and unique scene between not only the lead actors but also among the family, which is one of the main reasons that can stick you to a show that could have countless flaws when it comes to reasonable concepts. IT had been going on for a long time but after today's episode, I feel it has totally lost its primary essence.
Words are never enough to express how disheartened I am today, for losing a show as beautiful as IB. I would probably be the happiest if they prove me wrong :)
