(MG-OS) CLUMSY LOVE (Feb'2nd 2K18)

Geet was sitting in a local bus, glancing at her wrist watch from time to time...She didn't want to get late on her very first day at work for reasons...First and far most, if she got late, it will have a negative impact on her would be Boss...Second, it would have a negative impact on her father too...Third, it would have cost her job...She wasn't much educated, just had done her 12^th grades and her father's accident made him paralyzed and her, to leave her study...Being Boss's Munshi, the Boss has obliged to give his seat to his daughter and she accepted that without a second thought...She has 2 siblings and her parents who now were totally dependent on her...So, she needed to do full justice with her job...

She has heard a lot abt her would be Boss...Her father has told her everything that she must knew for understanding her Boss's nature... and whatever she knew, only scared her more...He was punctual...He was hard worker...He was Bossy...and He was an angry young man...

Geet(looked at the huge building):- Wow.. This is so big...I remember I came here when I was a kid...And I had played there with a young Boy, even got friends with him, but we never met again... (She reminiscent at her old memory and smiled)Silly childhood memory...(Shaking her head she went inside)

Receptionist told her of the Boss's cabin and she now was standing in front of her supposed to be Boss...And she read the nameplate... MAAN SINGH KHURRANA, MD...

Geet(ST):- What's this MD???(She knocked and waited by the door and soon she heard a voice) Excuse me Sir???

MSK:- Yes...

Geet:- Am Geet...(To Boss's quizzical look she added)Ermm, Mohinder Sharma's daughter...Your Munshi's daughter...

Maan:- Oh yeah... Dad told me ...(He nodded at her)Come...

Geet(now was fully in):- Thank you Sir...

Maan(was fully attendant to her):- What are you capable of doing Geet???

Geet:-Anything you ask for...

Maan:- Well, you just got out of college, right???

Geet:- Yes Sir...

Maan:- Given in to your qualifications, I can't give you any other work...(He already has given a thought on what the girl will be doing)Hmm, Perhaps you can prepare coffees for me???

Geet:- Sure Sir...

Maan:- Alright, go out and find Pinky from reception she will tell you everything needed...Hmmm...

Geet:- Thank you Sir...(She smiled, happy that her work wasn't much difficult)

Maan:- Hmm... (He was back to his work when she again called out at him)

Geet:- Sir, can I ask you a Q???

Maan:- what???

Geet:- What is MD???

Maan(looked at her with wide eyes. Surprised as she asked so):- what???

Geet:- Your...cabin...reads MD...(She said, as she pointed towards the door)

Maan(rolled his eyes):- What do you think it is???

Geet(shrugged):- Your name... M for Maan...

Maan:- And D for???(He smiled asking her that)

Geet(got his smile and knew she was wrong):- Your name doesn't have any D????

Maan:- So???

Geet:- I don't know...

Maan:- Now, your first assignment is get me MD's meaning...in an hr...You will be sitting there(He pointed towards the couch in his office and she went to sit there)

Geet:- But, Pinky Madam???

Maan:- Forget her...Sit there... Open that laptop and search its meaning...

Geet(murmured to herself):- Why did I even ask???

Maan:- Its good for you, that you asked...

Geet(bit her lips as she was caught):- Sorry Sir...

Maan:- Get to work...

With that he looked at his work inwardly he was smiling, he surely remembered her ...His Munshi uncle's daughter...Whom he met just once, in his childhood, made friends with her and then never saw her again...

Maan was roaming in his future office when he found a voice coming from elevators...following that voice, he reached to the elevators and found a small girl 4-5 yrs younger than him, was standing outside the doors and crying...

Maan:- Why are you crying???

Geet:- My papa went inside and I can't reach the handle...

Maan(smiled at her short height):- I will take you in...Come...

With that, he opened the doors to elevators and both went in...

Maan:- Hold on to me tightly, you might feel jerks...

Geet clutched his arm tightly and Maan smiled looking at her actions...She was cute little girl...dressed in school uniform...

Maan:- What's your name???

Geet:- Geet...

Maan:- Who is your father???

Geet:- He works here... He was going to drop me to school when his Boss urgently called him and he took me here...

Maan:- What's his name???

Geet:- Mohinder Sharma...

Maan:- Oh!! Munshi uncle...(Geet nodded)Hi, am Maan..Will you be my friend???

With that Geet nodded in happiness and shook his hand...The elevators opened at their desired floor and they saw their fathers standing in front of them...Geet ran to hug her father and cried when he took her up in his arms... Maan's father pated the little girl's head and moved to get inside the elevators, when Maaneet looked at each other till they could with a small smile, Geet waved her hand and Maan smiled back at her...

Maan came out from their past meeting as Geet called out at him loudly...and he was angry at the instant...No one dared to raise their voices at MSK and this little girl did that on her very first hr of joining...So, he lost his control...

Maan:- What??? Nobody gets loud with me....(and that was enough for the poor girl to get scared)

Geet:- Sorry Sirr...Wo, you were not responding...So...

Maan(cut her):- What is it???

Geet:- Here... (Geet forwarded a paper where she wrote down meaning of MD)

Maan(looked at that and nodded):- Hmmm... Go and get a coffee for me...

Geet:- From where??? (Her instant Q came)

Maan(looked at her in anger at first and then sighed and dialed a no):- Pinky...Come in my cabin... (In a mint, she was in)Pinky this is Geet...Take her with you and assign her with small works...She is just a graduate ...Mainly she will prepare coffees for me...Okhh...

Pinky:- Right Sir...(She smiled at Geet)Lets go Geet...

Geet looked at Maan, who nodded at her and Geet followed Pinky...She make her understand small small works and Geet got them all...Pinky also let her know what timings MSK would take his black coffee and etc and how to make MSK's perfect black coffee...Geet nodded as she understood all...

Geet was making Coffee for Maan, when Tasha purposefully bumped into her and on Sasha's advice she added 3 cubes of sugar...making MSK's tasteless coffee rich in sugar with milk...And she was gone to him...Sasha and Tasha smirked at the new girl...

Geet knocked on Maan's cabin and Maan found her in front of him with his coffee...He glanced at his wrist watch and was impressed as she was on time...

She smiled and placed his cup on table, he took a sip and spit that out in no time...Shocking Geet...He was angry...

Geet:- What happened Sir???

Maan:- What is this Geet???

Geet:- Coffee...(She replied innocently angering him more)

Maan:- Really??? (He asked her sarcastically)

Geet:- Why??? Does it taste like a Tea???

Maan(closed his eyes to control his anger):- Do you even know how to make a coffee???

Geet(nodded with smile):- Yes...Water...milk...coffee and sugar...

Maan:- And how much sugar???

Geet:- 3 cubes ...

Maan:- Only 3 ??? There wasn't any more left in there???

Geet( realized it must have been very sugary):-Give me the cup Sir I will make another one...

Maan:- No thanks...Just go from here...

Geet(tried to grab the cup):- No Sir give this to me...I will make another one for you...

Maan:-Geet, stay away...

And in their fight ...The cup spilled and his files got dirty...All the more reasons for Maan's anger to grow further and Geet to get scared for her new job...

Maan:- Geet, just get out...

Geet:- Am sorry Sir...I was trying to get...

Maan:- Geet...Just leave...(With a final glare he looked at her and she muttered sorry before going out of his cabin)

Here Maan was seething in anger for messing his files like that...and there Geet was nervously pacing outside Maan's cabin...Thinking why Maan Sir got angry at her and then next mint she came to conclusion it all was that Sasha and Tasha mam who were responsible for this mess...They misguided her and she made a point to be more careful of them from next time...Pinky saw her pacing outside Maan's cabin in worry and she went to her..Geet told the happenings and Pinky gave her a comforting hand...

Pinky:- No problem Geet...Go and ask for his forgiveness...MSK is very kind at heart, yeah he is rude but very nice ...(She added looking at Geet's scared face)

Geet:-No, how will I go...What if, he fires me from job??? No no..Am not going in...

Pinky was trying to get her to say sorry...and there Maan was thinking, he must tell her, her limits...If she wanted to work in his co, then she must behave properly...So, he dialed Pinky's no...

Maan:- Pinky, send Geet in...

Pinky:- Yes Sir...See Maan Sir is calling you go in... (and Geet nodded)

Geet peeped through the cabin to find Maan Sir sitting in his chair and looking at her antics only...She gulped as he glared her...and next sec, she heard his order...

Maan:- Get inside...

And before he could have said anything more, she blabbered...

Geet:- Am sorry...Plz Sir don't fire me...I badly need this job...You know naa, my father is ill and am the only one who can earn money for survival...Plz Sir ...

Maan(hearing her he thought and said):- I will give you money just don't come here again...

Geet:- No, sir...That's out of my upbringings... Papa always says, earn with respect...and you want me to stay home and get money from you without working???No no... I will work for survival...

Maan:- Then do properly...(Geet nodded looking down)Never argue with me, am the Boss here..Right...

Geet:- Right Sir...

Maan:- Follow my instructions and do as I say...command...Okhh???

Geet:- Yes Sir...

Maan:- Good...(With that he looked back at his work)

Geet:- Are we good now???(Still was uncertain so, she has asked)

Maan:- Hmm...

Geet(smiled):- Great...Thank you very much Sir...

Maan(looked at her):- Now, I will only tell you once...I take black coffee, without sugar...Hmm???

Geet(nodded):- Okhh Sir... Tasha ma'am said to add that much sugar that's why I added...

Maan:- Its okhh..But, be careful from next time...

Geet:- Yes Sir...

Maan:- Alright, now don't stand here...Get to work...

Geet:- What Sir...

Maan(sighed as she asked very innocently and in a way she was right, as he has yet to assign her for new work):-Alright...We have a meeting in the conference room, see the preps out there...

Geet:- Okhh Sir...

She obeyed his order and left his cabin...Maan sighed as she was gone and rubbed his temple, then he smiled shaking his head...

Geet was engrossed in her work that she didn't even realize when Maan entered the room and was looking at her preps...He was impressed...She has arranged everything neatly...He shook his head as he thought she was Clumsy, given in to her first impression...

And his thoughts proved right as he saw her opening the window for fresh air...There she was talking to herself inhaling fresh air and here Maan was seething in anger, as everything was dispersed...The papers were on floor scattered here and there...and she still was enjoying her fresh air...But, soon enough she heard Maan's voice...as he called her out in anger...

Maan:- Geet...

Geet(turned in hurry and was left shocked as she glanced around the room and then at Maan):- Hawww...How did this happen...(To Maan's angry looks she added)I will clean this mess...

Maan:- Clients are reaching here in 2 mints...

He informed her and she hurried her collecting the papers muttering sorry...While he just stood there controlling his anger...As she was picking final papers she stopped seeing feet in front of her and she closed her eyes, as the clients were in...Maan greeted Mr Verma and Geet looked at the owner of the feet...Who smirked looking at her and forwarded his hand for a handshake...

Man:- Hi, am Rahul...

Geet:- Geet...(She has contemplated before shaking hands with him)

Rahul:- Pleasure meeting you...Geet...

He said, as he pressed her hands more firmly ...and she wriggled to get her hand free...Maan causally glanced at them both and instantly felt angry at the way Rahul was forcefully holding her hand back...Maan knew Geet was nave to understand all these gestures, but he knew very well...

Maan:- Hello, Mr Rahul...

Rahul(had to leave her hand as Maan was offering his hand for a handshake):- Oh!! Hello Mr Khurrana...

Maan:- Plz, have a seat... (He then eyed Geet and whispered) Set the papers quickly and leave from here...I don't want you here anymore... Just go..

Oh!! That hurt the poor girl, who thought he was angry for her Clumsiness but in actual he was protecting her from getting harmed by any means... Instantly her eyes were filled with tears and holding them back she left ASA her work was done...

Maan ordered Pinky to bring snacks instead of Geet and this added one more worry for Geet...Why didn't she go with snacks... wasn't that her duty???And she bluntly asked that from MSK...as meeting got over...she went in his cabin and looked at him...Poor Maan, was clueless looking at her weird looks...

Maan:- What happened Geet???

Geet(looked down):- Am sorry...I didn't know the wind was responsible for that mess...

Maan(recalled the earlier happenings and shook his head):- Ahh!! That...Never mind...Forget it...

Geet(was astonished hearing him):- You didn't mind???

Maan:- Well, No...

Geet:- Then why you rudely sent me out??? You didn't even let me bring the snacks???

Maan(That mention rang a bell for him and he sighed):- Ahh That??? Well(He searched for the words and then said)You were new so I thought you might not be able to handle that much pressure...So... Was just giving you relaxing time...

As Maan finished with a shrug, Geet has started blushing which Maan noticed and a small smile spread on his lips too...Soon he cleared his throat and looked at her...

Maan:- What???Why that reaction???

Geet:- No Sir, I thought you were angry and are going to fire me... Plz Sir, don't do that...I don't know how but I will manage everything...Will understand everything very soon...

Maan:- Okhh, now get back to work...Hmmm...

Geet nodded and left, while Maan shook his head and concentrated on his file...

For a couple of days, Geet really worked carefully, and on her part, she tried her best to better not face the angry man...and in between her Clumsiness, she succeeded in hiding her silly mistakes from her Boss... But, not every time...

After few days,

Maan has called Geet in his cabin for taking notes for the upcoming party and she was penning them down...when all of sudden her pen stopped working and in checking her pen the ink stained Maan's shirt...

Geet:- Am so sorry... (Hands covering her mouth, eyes bit large and heart beats raised, she looked at her Boss, who no doubt, was angry)

Maan(sighed to control his anger):- Geet, can you ever work without making a mistake???

Geet:- I ...I don't know..How this happened... (She ran to get his shirt)Give me this, I will wash and clean it...

Maan(grabbed her hands in his):- Wait...

And their eyes met...Geet's were dead scared while Maan's were lost in her...He was looking at her from this close, for the first time...Facing her daily like this and dealing with her unintentional Clumsiness, he has become habitual of her now...True, she was too young for him...But, she has come knocking at his heart and he gave her permission to steal it...Geet was startled, tried to get herself freed and in that, she feel in his arms...While he safely secured her...He looked on, as she looked uncomfortable with their proximity and he let her go...She turned her back to him, and he stood up...

Geet:- Am so sorry Sir...I don't know...How does this even happen every time am around you...

Maan:- It's okhh... I think, am getting used to your mistakes now...(He smiled at her as she turned to look at his shirt apologetically)Excuse me...

With that, he was gone and she was left cursing no other one but herself...

Its been more than 2 years now, Geet has been working with MSK...They both have grown not only professionally but has become good friends to each other... But a few things never change... So was Maan's attitude...and Geet's Clumsiness, her getting scared from his anger and her, calling him Sir...Geet has joined a course for her Bachelor's and Maan became her mentor in studies... Coz of his help, she has excelled in her course...

Geet(opened Maan's cabin and asked for his kind permission):- Can I come in???

Maan(looked at rather happy Geet):- You already are in madam...

Geet:- Ahh!! Don't mind Maan Sir... Am in hurry...

Maan:- And why is that???

Geet:- Can I have a half day leave plz???

Maan:- Why??? What's the occasion???

Geet:- Well, someone is coming to see me...And papa wanted me to be home early...

Maan(s face fell):- Oh...Ohhk...(He has to control himself)Go on...

Geet(smiled brightly at him):- Thank you...

And she exited his cabin...leaving a devastated Maan behind...Who could never voice his feelings out on time... and as a result, she was going away from his reach now...Yet, he kept his calm and congratulated her the next day...

Maan:- So, how did the meeting go???

Geet(made a face):- Total waste...I rejected him...

Maan(though was happy hearing her):- What???

Geet:- Yeah...The guy was average...I didn't like him...and top of that, he was talking like a mavali does...

Maan:- So, you didn't like the guy???

Geet:- Yes...

Maan:- But then why do you look sad???

Geet(chewed her lips as Maan Sir knew her a bit well now):- You caught that???(Maan shrugged with a smile)Actually, Papa was angry at me..

Maan:- Why??? Did he like that guy???

Geet:- No, but... (She hesitated to share her personal probs to him still she never was that close to him)Leave it naa Maan Sir...

Maan:- Geet, tell me... (He ordered her sternly like always, to share her probs and she sighed)

Geet:- He said, If am waiting for someone special then...no prince charming is coming for me...So, I must get happy that at least someone was interested in me...and wanted to get married to me...

Maan(placed his hand above hers):- Munshi Ji is wrong...You really are very special Geet and for a special girl like you, you definitely deserve some Prince...

Geet(giggled at his compliment):- Thank you...You really are good friend of mine...Only praise me...(Maan smiled at her) Acha, where's today's meeting with Vermas???

Maan:- Ahh that...Yeah, that's at abc hotel...by 7pm...

Geet(stood to go):- Cool then, I will meet you at parking by 6.30???

Maan(replied nonchalantly):- Hmmm...

As she was off his sight, he sighed...He was given an opportunity to express his love as she has declined the other guy...and it was his first and maybe the last chance to propose her...

Geet stood beside Maan, as he finalized the deal with Vermas...She smiled gently at his PA as he smiled at her...and shaking hands with Mr Verma, Maaneet were left alone...Maan eyed Geet to sit and she came sitting in front of him...

Maan:- Let's have dinner together???

Geet(hesitated at first and then nodded):- Okhh Sir...

However they have come close to each other yet she was a bit scared of him all the times, thanks to his anger and a bit, knew her limitations as well...for, she was Clumsy...so her hesitancy was expected...And for Maan, this was his opportunity to express and propose her... They ordered random food for dinner while discussed casual office work...Maan was trying to make her feel comfortable...before he would shock her with his proposal and she might shock him with her reply... But, before he could start his talks directing towards his feelings, she did a blunder...

As her hands were shaking in nervousness, she dropped the food item on his coat...Her eyes widened seeing that and Maan's...went close...with a shook of his head...Looking at her scared eyes, he controlled his frustration and knowing bit well, she would chant her sorry... He placed his hand atop hers...

Maan:- Its okhh...

Geet(nevertheless apologized):- Am sorry...

Maan(sighed):- I said, its okhh...

Geet:- Am really...

Maan:- Cut it Geet... and listen to me... (She was shut with that stern voice so she only nodded)You know, we know each other from long... Do you remember our first meet???

Geet:- Yes Sir, in office.. I introduced you as ...

Maan:- Not that one... That wasn't our first meet ever...

Geet(s face faded and she now looked more nervous than she already was):- What are you talking abt sir...

Maan(smiled looking at her as she was avoiding looking at him):- You do remember, don't you???

Geet(fumbled, clearing her throat):- wh...what???

Maan:- Geet, stop lying now... Speak up...

Geet:- I don't ...(she quickly said and Maan smirked)

Maan:- Really???

Geet:- What are you talking abt???

Maan:- We met in childhood... In Khurrana Constrictions...

Geet (was gapping at him with mouth open):- You remember ???

Maan:- Pretty well...Now, do you???(Geet looked up at him uncertainly)Tell me honestly...

Geet:- To be honest...I didn't...Coz I didn't know it were you...One day, Papa was telling me and then I recalled...

Maan:- Why didn't you let me know???

Geet:- I didn't want any favors...(Geet said with a smile and Maan nodded..knowing her very well, the self-made she was)

Maan:- But, today...I want a favor from you...

Geet:- Of course Sir, anything...

Maan stood from his chair and came around her...Geet looked a bit confusingly at him...It was only when he knelt down before her on his knee and presented a ring in front of her...She stood from her chair in shock...

Maan:- Will you be mine forever???

Geet:- Sir???

Maan:- Will you marry me Geet???

Geet:- What are you saying??? I... you... How...

Maan:- Relax Geet...Calm down...

Geet:- No, I can't calm down...

Geet shook her head and took his hand in hers and made him stand on his feet...then dragged him to sit... on his side...and sighed... looking at nothing...There was silence in the atmosphere for a couple of mints before she looked up at him finally...

Geet:- I can't ...I mean, how can I ... You??? You are the perfectionist and...Am the Clumsy one, remember??? I do mistakes in almost every work of mine...

Maan:- Correction... You do mistakes only in my presence... Otherwise, you are perfect in every work...

Geet:- No Sir...

Maan:- Yes, Geet...

Geet(sighed):- Am your...Am your employee Sir... Mere coffee girl in your office...How can you... A Tycoon marries a girl like me???

Maan:- I want to marry you for what you were and what you have become...(Seeing her silent he asked)Don't you like me???

Geet:- No no...You are perfect Sir... But, I can't marry you...It's not right...

Maan:- Give me only one good reason...Why???

Geet:- Am the worker and ...

Maan:- Oh Cut this Geet...Any other one???(Geet was silent again)So, you do like me... (Again she was silent)Speak up, or am taking your silence as YES??? Hmm???

Geet looked down at her hand as that was grabbed by Maan, and he showed her the finger before she looked down feeling shy and he made her wear that...while she looked lost at him...

After few days,

Geet was all ready for her reception party when Maan entered the room to call her and she didn't notice him, resulting bumping into him...She gasped and fell on Maan, who steadied her in no time...Maan shook his head... and smiled

Maan:- You will always be Clumsy...

Geet(giggled):- After all am your CLUMSY LOVE...

Maan(smiled and kissed her cheek):- True, you are Clumsy and you are my Love...Shall we???

Geet nodded and entwining their hands...together they came down to face the world as Mr and Mrs Maan Singh Khurrana...
