So Soumya turned interesting today.
She claimed her rightful position as Rudra's wife. As the Oberoi bahu.

From her POV, she is not wrong, is she?

She was married to a guy who refused to acknowledge their marriage like it's a joke. She was not accepted by the family as the youngest daughter-in-law. Not accepted as the sister-in-law. Wasn't that wrong?

If she's doing all this to avenge her insult and humiliation, why do the makers think she'll become a villain? That's like saying, don't fight for your rights and let others do what ever they want. Because if you do, you are a villain.

That's right. She's not fighting for what's hers, because Rudra is not hers. But because he's her right. Being the legally wedded wife, she has all the rights to do whatever she wants to get what she wants.

Whatever she did and said today wasn't wrong. She's targeting Shivaay because she knows, more than Tej, Shivaay is the head of the house. He very well knows that Rudra is married. So why isn't he getting a divorce for them, although secretly? Is he really going to get Rudra and Bhavya married without RuMya's divorce? And does Bhavya know about the marriage? Why isn't Annika telling her? Isn't it a woman's right to know whether her fiance was in a serious relationship before her? In this situation, an actual marriage? Which has video proof? A marriage certificate? Gauri can't tell because I don't think she knows. But Annika does, so why?

Now that Tej has accepted Soumya as his bahu, does that mean he doesn't like his son's choice? Anyways I don't care about Tej, he's never been a good father, leave being a good father in-law. I mean, he did Gauri's shraddh for God's sake. I won't be surprised if he stabs Soumya in the back later.

I don't know if RuMya will be the end game or not. But I want makers to show that Rudra accepts the gravity of his mistake, for once. And not only Rudra, but everyone else too. They all should genuinely apologize to Soumya. Then Soumya can leave them all because in the end, she's too good to stay with these people.

No bashing, strictly my POV.
Thanks.

I agree Saumya has full right to fight and i am fully enjoying this Sumo. But apart from drama this is not the way to fight for your rights. You have legal ways if you think you are wife of somebody. So cannot justify her act to become the part of the army of a man like Veer to get your rights. Completely my view.

Yup, she is dirtying her hands that's why she's being claimed as the villain.

I'm with you I still can't believe not one person suggested an annulment lol. That goodbye scene was a joke, not closure.

I don't think Rudra should have to accept his marriage if he doesn't want to be with her, but the writers were in a rush to start his new love story everyone forget their basic manners. The writers disregard for their own character just increased everyone's dislike for all the characters. The "characters forget Saumya existed so should you" wasn't a smart move 😆

Are you shocked that no one bothered to tell her she is marrying an already married man? I'm not. Her purpose in the show was to get married to Rudra and be his new FL. The best part is how they don't know anything about her and not one person had a real conversation with her. She was already the bahu during her non-mission. No questions asked.

Tej is snake. He is only loyal to himself, but I'm loving Tej not liking Rudra's choice 😆

Turning Sumo into a negative character is probably another plot the writers are banking on and I think it will turn out to be a fruitful one because Neha has a strong screen presence and I would love to see her in an out and out negative avatar. Or it could be to make the audience hate so they can finally get the supposed approval for Rudy and Bhavya story? Who knows? But whatever it is if this negative Sumo is born to create a stir between the brothers and Obahu's I am all for it. If the CVs truly play this card well this negative Sumo will definitely kill it.. but like another post I read suggested this too shall bite the dust soon and disappear in the IB Bermuda Triangle--- LOL

But both of them were agreed on this that they did not believe on that marriage. And a marriage that happened when both person were not in their senses to know what happening around them for is no marriage at all. So did i think both sumya and rudra believed that at that time. Coming now to get her rights for a relation when at first she herself multually with rudra dissolved that relation.

@bold: Totally!

Am team Rumya but the problem right now is that unless the writers give Rudy's character some sort of definition, this whole thing is a moot point! Having said that though, lets see 😆

Sumo knows, just as the audience does, that Shivika were the only folks that at least asked if Rumya wanted to stay in their marriage.. her response to Shivaay's Q then was that Rudy did not believe in the marriage! So why is she targeting Shivaay then? 'Cause he is the one shown to hold the strings - money or otherwise! Rudy does not seem over the moon about his wedding to Bhavya - infact he is super nervous and hyperventilating at the thought of going through with the wedding.. Its the family that is coo-coo over Bhavya. To Sumo, this seems unfair - didn't they let her down by not doing the same for her when she was actually married to Rudy?! This when she had stood with them through the Tia and Kamini madness..

--
It is kind of sad that the writing team fails to see the actual problem and has painted itself further into a corner.. sure negative Sumo wanting to reclaim her rights will bring in some interest.. but what next?

** If Ruvya is end game, how is bringing back Sumo to reinforce how she got booted out going to help the audience like Ruvya any more? And, even if the funds are short, what is to stop a simple Ruvya wedding from happening? Afterall, Rikara did not have an opulent Oberoi wedding! Is it because Rudy cannot do without his guests at a 7 star hotel?

** If Rumya is end game, what is going to make Rudy suddenly fall out of love with Bhavya and in love with Sumo? Only possible if Bhavya turns negative and Sumo is on team Shivaay bhaiyya! 😆

Actually! Till today I thought that maybe they will show that RuMya did get divorced after all so RuVya marriage is legal. But today Soumya herself said that she is still his wife. I mean, if they wanted the audience to forget about Rumya marriage (like magic) why make Soumya mention it at all? Voila now everyone remembers that they got married after all!

I'm kind of shocked. Shouldn't they tell her that your fiance has a not-so-ex-wife? Like, he isn't divorced yet but because we don't believe in the marriage itself, so he's as good as a bachelor. Yay. Everyone knows and not one person is telling Bhavya the truth? Doesn't she deserve to know?

Yes. I think that this maybe an experiment but who knows? I'm not watching anyways😆
Haha, agreed. I hope this plays well because I think everyone is enjoying a grey Soumya immensely.

That's the thing many of us are not getting. Soumya's sudden change is not easily digestible😆 that's why we can't see her as a villain at all, at least I can't
