After 3 weeks we finally get to see Abhay ditching Diya at the altar.
Looks like the TRP woke the makers and got them back into fast track once again.
Now coming to my main grouse... I understand that Ratan is young, does not want to be in a relationship and definitely is not keen on getting hitched to Diya who, is much older than him. But why is he not owning up to his mistakes? He did take up the responsibility of Diya's marriage and was leaving it half way through. He couldn't fulfill his promises so far... and now based on the precap, he si going to enter into a relationship that he does not want, based on the promise that his dad has asked off him. Marry in haste, repent in leisure - this fits Ratan sa to the T!!
Where is his concern for his friend, is him marrying her and not being able to accept her going to help? And he is getting into this promise, with no other option... basically saying a "yes" without understanding the consequences.
But am not liking Ratan keeping his promise without setting his mind to it. He says he is London returned and of modern thoughts. But we are yet to see his modern thoughts other than forcing a girl to kiss in public. Would this have earned cheers to him in London?
He is 21 now... not a kid. Diya managed to keep him alive when she was just 18... much younger than him comparatively. She took a much bigger responsibility. The makers seriously need to do something about Ratan's character sketch. Totally disappointed with this new age marriage. Where the groom is being shown as overtly immature, to cover for lack of a solid story and screenplay.
Tomorrow Diya's father is going to be emotional or faint or get a convenient heart attack. And Ratan and Diya would have no options but to do the bidding of their respective fathers, irrespective of their mortal status 😃
On a different note where was Nitya bua sa all this time? Her hair looked weird in todays episode 😆
I know DiRa are soul mates. But a very inconsistent one... on the one hand they seem to be able to sense each others mood. But then end up being detrimental to each other and totally unaware of the other's dilemma. How is Ratan able to simply walk away from Diya? Does he not feel a single pang, does he not miss her? So much for soul mates! More incoherence... but thats how the show and the continuity seems to be... totally inconsistent.
Waiting only for DiRa's equation after marriage. Nothing else that is interesting. Yesterday the only scene that was good was the chain one... other than that... nothing much.
