#Hichki shifted ahead... Will release on 23 March 2018... Reason: Having evoked positive reactions during the private screenings, the marketing/distribution team of YRF convinced Aditya Chopra that the movie should release post exams... Hence 23 March 2018... Stars Rani Mukerji.

Sounds more like we were not happy with the promo and were scared of Sonu ke Titu k Sweety and so we have shifted to an open date. The movie may however pull another "Tumhari Sulu".

ab hichkole khaate release ho gi

trailer was extremely bad with over acting from ranu mukherjee...i have never seen such hichkis in my life..looked more like crazy than hichki...

she is just a bad actor. and that manly voice.

Rani Mukerji's Hichki is postponed; to now release on THIS date

Rani Mukerji is gearing up for the release of her comeback vehicle Hichki. In the film, the talented actor will be seen playing the role of a teacher named Naina Mathur who suffers from Tourette Syndrome.

Rani Mukerji is gearing up for the release of her comeback vehicle Hichki. In the film, the talented actor will be seen playing the role of a teacher named Naina Mathur who suffers from Tourette Syndrome. Earlier, the film was set to release on February 23, 2018, but now it will hit the screens a month later - March 23.

The official handle of Yash Raj Films, tweeted, "We've chosen a new date to reach you without any #Hichki. See you in cinemas on 23rd March, 2018. #RaniMukerji | @HichkiTheFilm."

"The multiple screenings of Hichki saw outstanding reactions. The audience in attendance have called it one of the best content driven & heartwarming movies to ever come out of YRF. So naturally, the reaction of the team is that does Hichki currently have the best release date to get an extended run in cinemas across India, said producer Maneesh Sharma.

Maneesh added, "Hichki is an out and out family movie that will entertain audiences across all age groups. The YRF team decided that 23 March, 2018 is the best release date for Hichki especially given the post exam scenario for students and families - the most relevant TG for this film.

Manan Mehta, VP Marketing and Merchandising, YRF said, "With exams out of the way, 23rd March gives us the opportunity to reach out to and speak to the youth, especially school students, and their families as this film is extremely relevant to them. For a special and brilliant family movie like Hichki, we have a strong marketing plan in place to trigger discoverability of the movie that we hope in turn would generate word-of-mouth.

Rohan Malhotra, VP Distribution, YRF said, "Hichki is an incredible movie which is full of heart & it has a strong message at its core. The movie will entertain audiences, ask the right questions and challenges the right themes which are prevalent in our society. We believe Hichki has the potential to stay in the theatres for an extended period of time and keeping that in mind, March 23rd is the best release date for the movie.

What;s the need to postpone it when it was ready for awhile and she started giving IVs? 🤓

But why would a Rani centric film be scared of these unknowns? 😕

Cuz i think the movie and the Dil Chori remix has made some noise and perhaps would be people's first choice when pitted against Hichki.
