Yes parting is always very tough, especially when you love what you are doing. Why the story demands this I dont know, but I will wait and see what exactly IS the plan? But I must say, this IS the most brutal thing they did on the show. I thought Avni going to jail was the worst, but it clearly was not.
The way they have focused so much on Avni and Neela Ma's connection and love for each other has been pointing this way. Neela lived and died for her daughter. The greatest testament to a Mother, the greatest example of true love.
My hats off to Sayantani. I dont know how I am going to watch this! I know I wont stop crying. Heck I cried even in that sequence when they showed Shweta-Prakash love story and how Shweta's old BF died and how Prakash made her accept him and his love. It made me so emotional. Especially that song "Iss tara ashaqui ka asar chod jaunga". (I recently re-watched that scene on Google drive and then found the song as well and listened to it. Beautiful lyrics).
I better get two boxes of tissue and be ready to call in sick for this one man! š
