Conveniently conservative!

I replied this on a different thread but there seems to be selective conservative behaviour seems to be applicable in Diya's case.

1. Arpita seems single (her husband who should be the kanwar sa and should preside all the functions in absence of their parents being alive) and is older but no one bothers.

2. Isha seems to be a widow who was re-married (We still have no clue what was her deal with Diya, I do not think writers remember any more) which must be a bigger deal for a conservative family but no one seems to have any qualms about it.

3. Kaaki ma sa and Diya mother expecting children from Diya when Isha, Sakshi has none. At least so far there is not a single reference to any. Come to think of it, even Arpita seems to have no children, the whole friends and family circle seems to be curiously devoid of children.

4. All this how daughters are supposed to be sensible and should uphold family honour, kind of gyaan Kaaki ma sa gives, one look at Sakshi bai saa and you wonder what was she doing (probably busy preparing Poison wali kheer for Ratan sa), when Saakshi was growing up.


I know we are not supposed to find logic in the shows but this makes it tougher for us to take things seriously.

Agreed! See just Chote Thakur's genes ended up making both her children extremely stupid, in spite of her "Shatir Dimaag". Imagine Sakshi and Mohak's child. 😆😆😆

I really liked the headline of the topic, conveniently conservative, thats what they'ce shown till now and will continue to do so in the future.
