Udaan starts with Suraj(Vijayendra Kumeria) worried as he thinks about how Chakor(Meera Deosthale) lied to Imli and saved him. Chakor walks in there and Suraj asks her to go away as his maalik is keeping a watch on him. Chakor says that she is not scared of anyone now that she knows that Suraj cares for her. Suraj asks her why she is ordering him around and why she lied at the haveli. Suraj asks her to go away as she does not know what could have happened to her and that he cannot lie to his owners anymore and he will tell them all the truth. Chakor asks him not to do that and gives him her vow. Rannvijay is taking Imli to her parents' house so that they can find out about Chakor and her lie. Imli stops him and says that she does not want the people to doubt her now that she is fighting the elections. She also says that she has a plan for Chakor and that she will teach her a lesson by next morning. Later Chakor is surprised to see Rannvijay and Imli reach there. They both hide as Imli and rannvijay stand there talking. Imli asks Rannvijay to return to the haveli with her and that they have to give food behind the door. Rannvijay does not trust Suraj and tells Imli that she is too simple to believe the two. Imli goes away and Rannvijay meets his goon there and asks him to keep complete watch on Chakor and Suraj and tell him about all their movements. Chakor is worried about Suraj's wounds and he tells her that he is just punishing himelf for his mistakes.
Chakor asks him if he remembers what he has done. Suraj remembers pulling away Chakor's saree. Suraj asks Chakor to go and Chakor agrees but asks him not to play with his life and also start a new life with a new friendship that is their's. Suraj refuses to be her friend and as he tries to get up he drops a vessel. Rannvijay hears that and walks to them but misses seeing them. Chakor is happy that Suraj is now more open to her. Imli tries feeding the person behind the door and she takes hold of Imli's hand and asks her to send to her Imli. Next day Chakor reaches the station as media questions her. Imli walk out of the station as Chakor has been blamed for beating Suraj up. Chakor accepts her mistake. Imli now blames her and wants the media to defame her. The police arrests her and later Suraj goes to meet her and tells her that he was forced to write the report. Chakor is happy that Suraj is worried for her. Suraj sees Imli there and walks away. Imli comes to Chakor and taunts her for being not able to contest the elections. Suraj sees the two and is very angry.
