Friends of Sawant tell us that the jilted lover reached Rakhi's home with a big bar of Dairy Milk chocolate in the hope that he will be able to get Rakhi to forget and forgive but instead he got one tight slap!

"He went to Rakhi's home this morning. He thought that he would get her to talk and would plead forgiveness. But she was in no mood to even see him. And she slapped him in front of everyone. It was quite embarrassing for Abhishek who genuinely wants her back," says a friend who accompanied Awasthi.

The friend adds that Abhishek had been trying to get Rakhi to speak to him all day yesterday but she just didn't take a single call.

"She was filming for an advertisement yesterday. She only wrapped up late last evening and was in no mood to talk to him. She is very upset," he says.

The buzz suggests that Rakhi is angry with Awasthi because she believes that he is cheating on her. The couple had a huge argument over the weekend following which Rakhi threw him out of her house.
