Before Gujarat elections yes. But it's difficult to sustain a flimsy protest in the long run. As usual public on both sides are fools ie those who were pro or against the film.

Gujarat and Rajasthan two state where rajput population is high and now election calling rajasthan and MP soon ...BJP dnt want to give perception that they are anti rajput ..even in this matter congress also not saying anything to support the movie openly ... BJP knows they can win till hindus are united that day hindu divide BJP start losing that's why janeudhari Rahul Born in Gujarat and now In karnatka Congress supporting CowMata 😳 politics is all about perception game 😉 That's why Rajasthan and MP government filed review petition in SC ...

Yes. Earlier this was a Rajput pride issue. Don't know when it became a Hindu pride issue. That is when the real problem started for the producers. Till then Karni Sena was nicely keeping the issue alive for enough publicity. Anyway as it happens in such cases right in time patch up happening and all can laugh all the way to the bank (apart from paying public)
