"It's an interesting character and Dulquer
has liked the script. While he has
committed to the project he is yet to sign
on the dotted line," a source is quoted as
telling the publication. If Dulquer comes
on board, he is likely to play the captain of
the Indian cricket team.
The Zoya Factor will be directed by
Abhishek Sharma, of Tere Bin Laden fame.
Last year, Sonam had confirmed that she
is doing the film by announcing that she
was "super excited" to be a part of it.
When the publication got in touch with
Rucha Pathak of Fox Star Studios, who is
producing the film, she neither confirmed
nor denied that Dulquer was in talks to
play the male lead. She said, "We are yet to
finalise the cast and will soon make the
announcement."
Meanwhile, Dulquer has wrapped up his
first Bollywood project, Karwan, which
also stars Irrfan and Mithila Palkar. The
film has been directed by Akarsh Khurana,
the dialogue writer of Yeh Jawaani Hai
Deewani and 2 States.
Dulquer also has the bilingual film
Mahanati, which is being made in Tamil
and Telugu, in the pipeline. Dulquer will
portray legendary actor Gemini Ganesan in
the film.
