You said it!..None of the mainstream actresses much interested to do films with newbies of bollywood ..it doesnt matter those films were hit or failure the thing is all the actors r so talented n the films got recognition ..Its always better to do contentdriven films rather than doing a flowerpot role in a superhit khan movie

Deepika only do movie with the biggest directors and stars of Bollywood. She had Vicky kicked out of Padmavaat because he wasn't a big star enough.

It's not a bad thing either (except when she keeps repeating the same pairing and combos) when one sees how Katrina's career suffered after doing movies with less big stars than her (Sidharth and ARK).

Sonam doesn't have the same reservations, she didn't hesitate to do movies with the likes of Abhay Deol (a B-list actor), Dhanush, Fawad and now Dulqueer (the latter three weren't established in Bollywood as A list actors when they were offered movies with Sonam).

I feel Sonam is perfect for this kind of movies because she's very alive on screen, very expressive.

I liked what I saw in Aisha, Dolly Ki Doli and Khubsoorat.

Some actresses can be very bland. For example, Deepika looked like a corpse as Mastaani. She couldn't seem to emote.

Funny that you would say that when Sonam and her sister promoted Fawad so well that he shot up straight to the very coveted and hard to get into Bollywood A list. Fawad was part of the inner circle and could have been one of the biggest star of Bollywood (talent+looks+connections) had his career not been interrupted by some events.
