Do IF writers leave for good or take another birth with new username?

Hi, I have seen some old time writers leave their excellent work and not return to complete it.

What could be the reason? They have invested so much time, energy and imagination in creating stories... which are like one's own child. What makes them leave a story mid-way and leave?

They don't have ideas to write further?
They forgot IF pwd and email attached to it?
Fans put them off?


Which writers you would like to return and what stories need a closure?

This is my 3rd birth 😆
I used to be had2bu and ucompleteme
from the names you can guess what a romantic mush brain I have 😃
I did leave because of readers or lack thereof even though I did have a fair amount of fabulous commenters
then one fine day i had the idea to put the updates on a password protected blog
it eliminated my disappointment of silent readers and gave me just the best of readers
now they are happy and so am I

coming to the topic writers leaving their works incomplete if u ask the writer they will say lack of response, loosing track or being busy as usual

being in GF for years maine notice kiya hai the above mentioned reasons are all true..
personal and professional life me busy ho k writers don't get time to get back to their stories most of the time

and when thy eventually get back it is hard to get back those readers who were lost waiting hence less readers- disappointed writers- who finally stop writing

and two is change in usernames ye hume bhi samaj nahi aata nowadays itna zada q hogaya😆

few years back tho the new user names were created q k writers wanted to try a different style or type of narrative, that's because readers expect certain type of stories from certain writers tho, when a writer felt typecast and wanted to experiment, New id's create hoti thi

Apart from all these reasons there are few more important points to consider like Memory loss, being threatened at gun point, dogs barking, and giving up on all the moh maya etc😳

yeah..so many incomplete stories on the forum..

for writers, there could be genuine reasons like the life has got busy..personal life has taken priority..or they do feel the lack of motivation, inspiration or the zeal that they had felt it once upon a time..
or may be the lack of response or lack of deserved appreciation..in fact there are many good stories there, but only with handful of readers..
I can understand it all from the writers point of view..

I myself have been reading mainly the current stories since I joined the forum..and many are incomplete and I am sure many will remain incomplete. I would not say it is totally disappointing, because I did enjoy the moment while I read the updates and I have learned to keep the expectation limited up to the next update.

but still at few times I feel disappointed because I too have got involved into the story reading, liking commenting and all..specially, when the writers come up with many stories simultaneously only to leave many of them incomplete over the years.

Again, I understand, writing is an art based on inspiration, and writers write when they feel to pen down the thoughts..but I would request them to focus on few stories at a time and try to complete them first whenever they get time, and bank on the other ideas/updates for future.

Hope to see more stories getting completed in future.

Take birth with new id n stalk 😛 india forums n actively writing in other forum?
There could b a 3rd they pretend 2 leave bt is always here just never show themselves up may b
