At times I feel like I am too harsh on her and then comes stories like this that validate the low opinion I already have of her. It would have been better to not gift anything at all, rather than a measly chocolate bar. This is super humiliating and a slap in the face to the employees that toil day and night to tend to all her demands. They always say observe how a person treats their domestic help(and waiters/waitresses)-- they may put on a facade but the true colors come out in these type of situations.

She is the worst.

It's a happy occasion. She is allegedly wealthy. The least she could do is give Mitthai box and a sari or a shirt. That's what my middle class relatives did in India for Diwali not a wedding.

In the US I bake cookies and give a $5 gift card to starbucks to the mail man, the UPS man and Fedex man. I buy little gifts for my hair lady, mani and pedi ladies for christmas. When my parents return from visiting India they always carry little handicrafts like little carved elephants, brass boxes, pillow cases , something small to give as gifts again to mailman, delivery people, service people, coworkers and so on. They always love it and appreciate that they were thought of. People have also brought us little gifts when they visit their country of origin or go on holiday.

No they / we do not need it, but it is a gesture of thanks or that we thought of them of people who are in our lives If you are rich, the least you can go is buy an article of clothing like most middle class southern families do for festivals. Anushka is just cheap and unclassy. Poor Virat. I hope his family gets better gifts for festivals. 😆

Some people here desperately need mental evaluation. So much anger,hatred and obsession.

Does this give some kind of purpose in life in otherwise an empty life? Or is it because in real life you have been powerless and by demonstrating such behavior here you somehow feel powerful?

Whatever the case maybe please seek help. It is unhealthy in every form.

It's extremely disturbing the levels people stoop to under the veil of anonymity. I really can't comprehend what sort of satisfaction any person gets from sitting behind a computer and attacking members in this manner. The persistent stalking and harassing of members is becoming a frequent occurrence on here and it is honestly putting members off from visiting this forum. I wonder when will mods will step in and address this problem..

We give our staff new clothes and sweets etc even for occasions like diwali and lohri. And this Scamster didn't give even for a once in a lifetime occasion. Horrifying.

And wedding ki toh baat hi mat karo. Even today the family naayis from the ancestral village are given gold rings and expensive suits/bankets etc on weddings.
