@ Cute-over-Hot, Srbhagwl: I'm going to blame SP in this situation because in a way they are at fault. At 6 PM the show was a TRP slot leader. That means people are supporting this show. For 2 months the show ran at that time and then SP decided to move it up to 8 PM in hopes of getting more audience.

But let's say you're one of those 8 PM audiences. You haven't watched RKC yet. Why would you suddenly switch to RKC (a show you know nothing about) over (for example) Shakti (a show you've been watching since the beginning)?

On the other hand, let's say you're an original viewer of RKC. You're used to watching RKC at 6 PM and Shakti at 8 PM. Now both shows air at 8 and you don't watch online or record and watch later or watch a rerun. Which show will you choose? Some people might choose RKC, some might choose Shakti, but suddenly RKC has lost at least some viewers.

The reason I'm blaming SP is I feel they didn't do the proper cost-benefit analysis of the switch and now they're blaming the show for this fall. RKC was a slot leader at 6 PM. They should have left it at time. I personally don't care about the timing since I watch online and I'm not in India so my watching on TV wouldn't count for TRP anyways, but I know a lot of people would.

In this case, the real issue isn't that people aren't supporting the show, but that they aren't getting too many new viewers supporting the show.

Oh right. That could be the case.

But the show being under the scanner has nothing to do with this. From what I've read and/or heard, all the show on SP except SNS and YRKKH are under scanner.

Oh wow, thats great news. In that case I will manage for 15 days. Actually I have joined my job just 6 months back away far away from home, from my parents. I used to feel terribly lonely and even when stressed out in office, I just used to console myself that I will get back home, and get to watch the 11pm RKC, which I had been watching from the beginning. These Lal Mahal walas almost had become my family. Suddenly they have removed it from that slot.

@cute-over-Hot...

I don't blame star plus here..at the end of the day it's all about business,they are not here for social service.
I blame the audience for not supporting good shows.

I think the main problem is the time slot.
Many of whom I know find that slot a bit difficult to accomodate I their TV viewing schedule.
Often I also find it a bit difficult.
