EDT~ ep. 63~17.1.18, My stance: Get away with murder!
The killer stops at nothing. Escapes the consequence of killings. None dares to chastise or criticize him.He gets away with anything he wishes. For it seems fair to him. Vyom believes in manipulating destiny itself. To hell with destiny! He snatches what he fancies. Wipes out hurdles that block his way in getting too Sharanya, his destiny.
I did it ! I killed Shiv! Vyom boasts before Sadhvi. He knows he'll get away with it as this nosey sage is not going anywhere except joining Shiv where he is. Vyom's mind has no dearth of forward planning. He is not bogged down with the fetters of weaklings binds of guilt and conscience. His mind knows only one thing, to make Sharanya his forever.. in every sense of the word.
Sharanya seeks a confirmation from Shiv about his killer. To me Shiv dilly dally's because he refrains from encouraging Sharanya into making a knee jerk reaction to straight away accuse Vyom as the killer. Shiv seeks that she thinks through the process. Shiv plays it safe by elaborating, the killer is from the Bedi's family or Vyom. He explains the Bedi's warned him to stay away from her, as they were all interested in her. He leaves identifying the actual killer with Sharanya. She can't but help conclude. Perhaps Vyom is behind the scenes with all that went about?
Even a cold blooded killer can suffer from a sense of stupidity! The birthmark gave him up before Sadhvi. With a glint of mockery for all women! he scoffs, he asked his mother to have this stigma removed, but what a pity like most women my mother too thinks a bit to much! like yourself he gives Sadhvi the evil eye! She too thinks more than she needs to know about him!so it 's time for her to bid adieu to the world..One look at his devilish expression Sadhvi squirms with fear. No good expecting any mercy from this psychopath killer. The narrow plastic intravenous tubing used to strangle Sadhvi makes a chilling contrast with the sacred thread Sadhvi gave to Sharanya to save this beast's life! by tying it around his wrist to save his life! here he yearns to throttle her neck, to squeeze life out of her!
Vyom's scene holding Sadhvi in a tight grip with the narrow plastic tube around her neck like a noose! is frightening to watch. Vyom enjoys listening to her guttural chokes. I felt he thinks might as well tell her the complete truth.. Shiv was his best friend ,but he did one crucial mistake of daring to love the girl he loved! I felt he justifies his actions before Sadhvi.. he loved Sharanya like mad, for three years he shed tears of blood.. in his college days.. no one noticed or understood his pain and agony! His love remained unrequited! So in all fairness he killed the one she loved Shiv! Vyom justifies his heinous crime! He even protests about the blow to his male ego that even after marrying Sharanya he could never become part of her life! But even in her dying moments Sadhvi reiterates.. Sharanyas name was not written on his palm they were never meant to be! Vyom growls if that's the case then he writes his own fate, just like it wasn't written on her palm that Vyom will take her life! he slits her throat with a surgical knife and leaves her to bleed to death!! One wonders was he really smarting by Sharanya's wife,but not really his wife attitude? or was he lying through his teeth before Sadhvi in her dying moments! The scene ends in dark comedy where a killer is assumed to be an angry stray cat prowling in the darkness of the store room hunting out a mouse!
She came to seek her past and Shiv reveals it to her bit by bit, so she could make connections. He reveals a dark truth that Vyom lied compulsively before her. Assumed his complete persona, his song and music, to woo her and by stealth marry her. Sharanya connects Vyom interactions with her in the recent past. She confesses, before Shiv that Vyom painted him as a villain. Shiv remarks it was his guile ,playing up on her gullibility and partial memory into ensnaring her into a trap.. her marriage to him! Shiv shares helplessly ,he tried to warn her against Vyom's duplicity but he never got through to her!Vyom's possession act was all a hoax! To trap her! and play on the fact that Sharanya saw spirits! To all the ills Vyom did, he Shiv unseen, unheard was blamed! So Vyom could continue with spinning his web of deceit and lies around her. Open mouthed Sharanya took in every word that Shiv tells her..
Shiv too, refers to being friends with Vyom during college days.. he knew that we loved each other. But then again he knew enough about Shiv.. which he would use to his advantage later on.. some friend Vyom was.. who needed a foe? with him around. Shiv is still her protector ,his advice to her is now that she knows about her past.. her presence will make more sense to her. He instructs a tearful Sharanya to bury him in the snow, the cold will preserve his body! next she should return from whence she came, pack her bags and then slip away from that house..he will come for her,t ake her to her parental home in Devprayag.. and then she arranges for his last rites.. his voice cracks.. then he will have to depart from you. Sharanya s heart misses a beat..how will she survive without him?her one and only true love?
With cold hands, passionate heart, and tearful eyes she lays her Shiv to rest in the snowy coffin.. and walks away with a dead heart and numb feet! Vyom turns up, puts up the caring husband sham act ! hugs her! she stands lifeless in his arms! Questions why did she come here? on her own? She mumbles, to seek her past, now all is clear , that which plagued her , will never bother her again! She came seeking life for him, and alongside received new life in herself as well! Shiv stands behind Vyom and Sharanya stares at him.. Vyom imagines Shiv standing behind him.. Shiv assures her, no one can see or hear him apart from herself. He bids her to react with a cool mind, do as he says pack her bags and he'll come for her..
Bedi householders, blame Sharanya for endangering Vyom's life yet again. Master of turning tables ,to win Sharanya over, Vyom accredits Sharanya's Karvachauth prayers for his remarkable recovery. Rajan welcomes and apologizes to Sharanya and asks her to come for worship in the garden. She is asked to freshen up in her room.. Shiv stands beside her and bids her to pack,while all are busy in the garden.. hamlet53 18.1.18
More memory joggers for Sharanya thanks to Shiv. Vyom kills like nobody's business. Great performances from our wonderful leads.. Vikram is just so brilliant..as an out an out negative tone. Plus what a treat to see two solid male leads pitched together. I miss Shiv's verses.. I guess they were all his waiting and pining for Sharanya.. now its face to face.. precap I anticipated.. that she will dig her heels till she gets to Shiv's killers! Fair enough! however the good bit is Shiv will be around her and they'll converse happily... till Vyom clocks on Sharanya talking to her self and smiling coyly... kudos to Donal our Sharanya!
