Akshay Kumar - indeed a name that everyone of us looks forward to. Akshay has seen a transition from being tagged as the Khiladi Kumar to now seen as the modern-age Bharat Kumar. Currently, the actor is gearing up for his upcoming release, PadMan. Based on the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, PadMan is the story of how one man came up with a revolutionary method of producing cost-effective sanitary napkins and empowered thousands of women across the country in the process.
He, now, might be seen as the one who has been taking up all the social issues and trying to change the system, but this was not the case earlier. In his initial days, the actor was known to be the Casanova of Bollywood and all the young divas were smitten by his charm.
Well, on the personal note, the actor has had quite a colourful life. He has dated many Bollywood divas before finally settling down with Twinkle Khanna - the true love of his life!

Pooja may NOT be an active part of Bollywood, but was once known for her proximity with Akshay Kumar. According to reports, the two dated before the actor joined the industry. However, after few years of togetherness, they both parted ways to make their career in Bollywood.

Akshay and Raveena Tandon
Raveena was touted to be the 'bombshell' of the 90's and he too made his strong space in the industry. Remember their song Tip Tip Barsa Paani, it not only was a stamp that they are together a HIT, but also got the gossipmongers talking about their offscreen connection. But after reportedly being in a relationship for almost three years, Raveena broke up with Akshay apparently because of his philandering ways. In an interview with Stardust in 1999, Raveena went ahead to reveal that Akshay had promised to marry her the day she would finish her last shoot.

This was one of the most shocking and talked-about alleged love affairs of Bollywood. During the shooting of Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, the grapevine was abuzz with the rumours of the two having a fling. However, for Raveena, it was Rekha who was at fault and not Akshay as she was quoted as saying, "I don't want to say too much on the subject. I don't think Akshay ever had anything to do with Rekha. As a matter of fact, he would run away from her. Akshay tolerated Rekha because of the film. At one point she wanted to get lunch dabbas for him from home. That's when I put my foot down. I felt it was taking things a bit too far. She's a wonderful person, but she should learn where to draw the line."
Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Shetty
Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Shetty spelled magic with their chemistry. Their rumoured relationship became the talking point of the industry. According to reports, Shilpa learnt about the fact that Akshay was two-timing her with her best friend. After the reported break-up, Shilpa and Akshay stayed away from each other for a few years. Now, everything is back to normal.
Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra
After a few years of marriage, Akshay hit the headlines once again for his alleged relationship with Priyanka. Their on and off-screen chemistry was visible to everyone after they worked in films like Andaaz, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Aitraaz and Waqt: Race Against Time. Post that, came the final decision by Twinkle of not letting the two work again.
