Lol so as the topic of this post goes this is exactly what our indian tv serials prevails.
Its always and always about "jodi" and what i feel off lately due to jodi shipping the story suffers.
Now from the latest episodes of EDT I see people complaining about the story being "predictable". So I was wondering whether those people who find the story predictable now would they find it interesting had the story shaped with regular stuff that has been shown till date? Meaning Shiv being the evil spirit who is all out to destroy Vyom and Sharanya? Would people appreciate that kind of story?
After the revealation episodes I have also been somewhat disappointed with its story narration. Like I would have like Vyom's character being under wraps till some time before revealing such a big thing. Vyom's revealation came too fast according to me. Or maybe there is more to story. I think we should have patience.
Now coming back to jodi shipping. Well when I first saw its promo, I thought it would be a regular story of leads fighting evil ghost. But after I watched EDT's first two episodes I knew that everything is not what is shown. There's more than what meets the eye.
Vyom's character has been fishy since day one. So I really don't understand how some people are so disappointed with the latest development in the story. It more about Vyom being negative.
However although I understand that people like jodi shipping more than story shipping. Its more on maker's fault also. Like there was really no need to show all those lovey dovey scenes between Sharanya and Vyom in the past episodes. The makers also like to play with audience mind and show all those lovey dovey scenes to cash in.
So its not only audience fault but the makers fault too. If a certain jodi is not supposed to be the lead jodi then they should not shoot/portray lovey dovey scenes at all.
And due to this jodi shipping thing, maybe the EDT makers already revealed Vyom's character. But I am still hoping there is more to the story.
Lets see what happens but I think people need to watch this show with open mind for its story not jodi.
