End of EDT for me!

I am really disappointed after today's episode. I am disappointed that Indian makers can't conceive thrillers beyond love triangles. They don't understand what grey characters mean; Vyom is totally dark and Shivanya are totally white (unless the makers are going to justify their greyness through the future revenge track). There was so much potential- for example, they could have shown Sharanya being a con-girl and playing Vyom and Shiv off each other and Vyom and Shiv getting together to take revenge on her. That would have been a refreshing change in TV. But I guess that this is the end of EDT for me and some other neutral viewers (from what I've seen on SNS).

There is no more thrill for me as it's going to go down the same line of male and female lead taking revenge on the psycho lover. It is really sad to see a show that had potential going down the same route as many other shows and loosing its novel factor. Anyways, all the best to Namik and Vikram for their future projects. Donal needs to brush up on her acting quite a bit. And Sony TV seriously needs to increase its diversity of thrillers before it becomes type-cast as a 'love triangle' channel.

I have already stop watching the show...

its black mark in the name of thrillers

indian makers doesn't know how to make a thriller...they should not touch on the topic...such a let down...

even reading updates gives me headaches...

but can't stop myself from coming to EDT forum...

I never expected Vyom a complete negative.

I always thought that both are positive pertaining to the choice of their names. Vyom and Shiv both represent mahadev, and Sharanya represents parvati.

But Vyom's sudden complete transformation to mahishashur as if, justifies nothing at all.

A namik admirer here, but never expected vikram turning completely negative as Vyom.

And this is the problem with Indian TV. They promise us grey characters and turn them completely white or black. There is nothing different about EDT. Take away the supernatural angle and it's the same as many other serials before it. I am really disappointed. At times, I feel as though the Haasil and EDT makers sat down together and discussed let's promise the viewers a thriller but sell the same old story. Anyways, never going to watch a thriller from Sony again. I've only been disappointed so far.

Hello but i would says EDT has starts now bcuz i know vikram n namik both r amazing actors n when actors performs u can't ignore them n whether it's a Negative or positive character it's their choice of role n they both r doing extraordinary job. We should give vyom aka vikram one chance.. His talent deserves it! I ve seen vikram previous show n he is good with acting skills.

@rati...performance is always appreciated...but at the same if a story n screenplay is plain stupid with no heads n tails...even greatest performance can't save the show

let me give an example...SRKajol are legendary couple of BW and most loved couple to the entire world...but Dilwale was totally rejected by their fans even though their chemistry was still most loved becos the story did not do justice to their chemistry...its the same...when story is stupid...performance can't help

Hi dear, it's not about amazing acting. I think Namik and Vikram are doing a good job so far. I started watching EDT as it promised to be a thriller. But there is no thrill element after this. And as you mentioned about positive and negative characters, that is the problem. Indian TV has enough of such negative and positive characters. We need grey characters and none of the 3 leads are grey now. Despite how amazingly Namik and Vikram act, their characters bring nothing new to the table. And the serial is nothing novel. After today, viewers can envision the events after this and the end. EDT has turned into a typical love triangle story and it is really disappointing for people like me who were expecting a good thriller.

@mages @livelifehonest I understand wat u guys r saying well to be honest i started to watch edt for namik n when come to story many daily soap disappoints with it so i was not expecting much bcuz trp but we can hope things fall in way. Lets see

I never expected grey being black! I stopped watching the show along with many others. Even shiv and sharanya scenes are rushed. To Prateek, "BYE BOI" we can watch yeh un dino ki baat hai"
