just the kumkum parts which is just repitiion..abhi drives pragya from the breakfast table...she selects a jacket for him and he refuses to take it...eventually does,,,pragya gets a phone call that shristi is in jail she goes to save her...she finds out from khan chacha that there is a bomb...preeta comes with her bag that she left behind and she tells her what happened...they all go to save abhi...no one answers the phone because the phones had to be left wit security,,?????,,,abhi dreams pragya coming to him the usual imagination..precap pragya holds a gun to abhi and tells him not to play the guitar he drops to the floor...

mahasangam episodes are really nothing to look forward too and this is not a kumkum bhagya maha episode but a kundali bhagya one.. fooled us as usual..

OMG it was KDB maha episode 🤣

Has not KDB stolen enough of KKB's time and casts and maintaining the top position to be given so much space and time even now. The KDB story is actually not at all to the standard of maintaining within top 5 position at all, it is the Arora ladies, Preeta, Karan and Rishab who are carrying the story forward with good actors playing their roles. So, the writers have now used up this 1000 episode celebration to make sure KDB also goes in that direction.

It was really pathetic to see Pragya entering Arora household and sealing her position as the eldest sister after being neglected for so long. I think Sarla maa was not so emotional even on Bulbul's death as she was about Preeta's imprisonment.

The emotional bonding of the sisters and Pragya/Karan scene were the interesting bits of the episode.

So, as usual a great disappointment mahasangam. The KDB team must be really happy to have been in the limelight instead of KKB.

Thanks Ann for the heads up👍🏼. I ended up watching, most of it in FF mode as I didn't understand the heads or tails of the other show.

What did they call it? Is this the KKB at 1000 episodes😡? That was a complete wash. We saw most of the other show, I didn't have a clue on what is going on. Is this supposed to be a celebration of Abhi, Pragya relationship?😡 What did we end up seeing, Abhi condemning Pragya away as she was about to eat, saying that the table is reserved for family only, not dhokebaaz😡 people while the actual dhokebaaz is sitting there gobbling away and enjoying the show he is putting up for them. I know Pragya didn't do good either, but the hypocrisy/double standards of these above words are beyond caustic😡🤢I don't know what the point is for this 4hr marathon😕 But I have to say, Pragya did a lot, I mean, A LOT today from start to finish🤔.

I just have a few comments on the other show. That woman playing Preeta ( don't know her name ) looked too mature, I don't know about her acting either, not impressed . I am wondering if we are sure what the birth order is. Is Pragya truly the eldest? Are we sure the stupid baba didn't abscond with alternating birth order kids? The tall one is much more tolerable, seemed to make a good younger sister. That Karan Luthra guy's equation with Pragya is warm, but with Abhi he had some kind of an attitude😕Why is he overtly contemptuous with Abhi? Is he insecure? He sounded very stupid cutting off Abhi with some impolite nonsense😡. I actually liked his interaction with Pragya. This guy could make a good and believable younger brother to Pragya❤️. A bindi wala Simonica is pretty👍🏼. Finally, isn't that inspector one of the goon guys from recent jungle kidnap as well as Sangram's adda?

Sarla maa, pathetic responses as a mother to Pragya and Bulbul. It is Pragya who was emotional thinking about Bulbul when the whole family is together. I am not saying there should be a specific order in who feels for Bulbul, but just saying, I would have expected a mother to be more sad or missing Bulbul than Pragya😭. Pragya almost resigned herself😭 to the background as she watched how the two new sisters and Sarla maa interacted.

OK, now onto KKB. We talked about Abhi not letting Pragya sit or eat at the table, he passed an order that nobody should talk to her, she won't partake in any of the celebrations of "his" family. I don't know guys, he says the table is reserved for family, which contains the 🤬.I am thoroughly disgusted by this. If you think objectively, from his end, what was the crime committed by " Munni"? She admitted she was Munni and walked away from KC, came back " acting" as Pragya, but he thought she was Munni and she stated she was Pragya, didn't force him to believe her. Then snake episode, Sangram happened, she was still Munni for him, and she didn't refute much. Suddenly, he decides she is his Pragya, she continues to deny she is Pragya, and said some stupid stuff, so he again decides she is Munni. I am dizzy writing this up🤢So in the end, it is him thinking of her either as Pragya or Munni that brought so much happiness or angst for him , nothing that she has done additionally. Oh my God !!! How do we stabilize this guy? What additional dhoka is he talking about other than what is happening since KC? Did I miss something in the last week when I didn't watch? Abhi's pendulum has swung so wildly, I am getting a "peeking over the cliff "kind of vertigo

Abhi's mood is so incongruous and so is Daadi's. He was mad, to despondent to deliriously happy in a span of few minutes talking to Rishab in the car. I was agitated as he had to be again told what a great human being his wife is by some outsider, at the cryptic pokes by Purab about what to expect from his Pragya di, a complete commitment from her side to her family and nothing less❤️ as Abhi looks on as confused as ever. It irritates me that somebody always has to hold Abhi's hand to help peel away the thick rind that forms on his gray matter in every single track, takes about a whole year for this rind to be peeled off, only to form a new and even thicker one😡😭💔 I am not happy with Pragya either, for how she considers herself disposable yet omnipotent to do everything on her own😡. These two are falling apart in front of our eyes😭.

I didn't watch any of the performances in the end as I didn't like how most of the actors looked or dressed. Is there really a Abhi, Pragya performance in that blue Cinderella looking gown? I saw the very last one with the pale yellow gown.Both of them looked amazing. RS wife gets to wear a plain saree while secretary wears a fabulous gown😡 Bravo directors for that😡

Finally, I don't know what the point is for this 4 hr show. It seems like most of it is the other show with very occasional snippets of KKB, touted as 1000 episode celebration. I have to agree with all of you, what I saw is the promotion of other show under the guise of celebration of this show. And I saw Pragya slogging away, saving her sister, Karan Luthra, and finally trying to save Abhi. She is one busy bee today❤️, but she is still crazy. I WANT HER TO STOP ACTING, she is only creating trouble for herself, sadness to Abhi and nothing else💔

I don't know if I made sense guys😕. If any of you haven't watched the marathon, it is a waste of time. Please let me know if there is that dance in pale blue gown, if any of you have watched. I may have completely missed it.

Coming to KDB, I never follow that show. But few days back while surfing thru channels one scene going on Zeetv caught my attention, having seen Sarla ma with two girls in police station getting all hyper, my eyes got drawn to a police inspector in that scene. This is the same actor who played Sangram's right hand Haryana bhaisa in KKB. He is the same guy who was part of goons team who created havoc and tied up Mehra's & Sarla during Dishrab wedding in MM. Same guy who very recently tied up Abhigya & Dishrab again in Haryana and the one who got fooled by Abhi.😆 There was also a lady police who played Mehra family doctor in KKB whom Sarla met earlier outside Abhigya bedroom. Understandable its same Balaji production house so they may rotate some junior actors here and there on their shows, but claiming to be a spinoff using some common characters like Sarla & Rodadi in both shows and when working on creating maha sangams these kind of goof-ups indicate how much crew lacks in attention and co-ordination rather than an oversight.

Another thing that was highlight in same scene was Sarla introduces meri badi beti Preeta and meri choti beti Shristi to that inspector.Then who are Pragya and Bulbul to her?? what's their importance in her life? 😒 Did this lady even care to check on how Pragya was and what she has been going thru in MM after returning alive, where was she when Pragya was fighting for life alone on hospital bed after sucking snake poison? Did she ever enquire about dangers Abhi & Purab repeatedly encountered in the past few months?😕 But she suddenly remembers and needs Pragya's help to fix a new daughter's life issues as her motherly instincts are strong??

Zee hosted a fresh party in a Mumbai star hotel for kkb1000 while mahasangam was on air yesterday night. This celebration started in Dec first with Ekta's bash in pub and is still on exactly a month later.😃

Wish the fun, enjoyment, parties, dances, celebrations that KKB cast & crew have been subject in the past one month in addition to their work,could have been more relatable if it translated in few real episodes of KKB that got telecast right from 1000 till now. This could have made loyal viewers following this show religiously during last 3.5 yrs gets similar pangs of enjoyment also gratified and excited while looking at content, plots and characters..😳

And mili and LA2725, agree wholeheartedly with you both about the new Arora sisters and Sarla's new bonding with them. Pragya and Bulbul had such good chemistry as sisters both in their nature and dressing fitting into the middle class setup beautifully. And with Pragya, Preeta's mismatch as younger sister was even more obvious and Shristi also, though her childish behavior makes her more suitable as an younger sister even if taller than Pragya. But Pragya looked so small in between these two. Actually, as stated, Karan looks more suitable as an younger brother for Pragya.

It is still a mystery to me how KDB is maintaining the top position, maybe because if no interesting shows in other channels during that time slot. There may be some good actors in it but no strong story base. Sherlyn and Prithvi from what I saw in between, look similar to Tanu, unwanted pain.

All in all, we have been very badly cheated.
