I remember a quote I read sometime back, it went like this.
If you love someone set them free.
If they come back they are yours.
If they don't they never was.
One of my favourite lines is the first part of this quote, it is something which I have always believed in, to set the people you love free, not in the sense of moving away from them or letting them go, but to keep them with you and still always give them the much needed space.
I simply love how Karthik has proved that. That night after Naira was back home. In that Kaira room scene when everyone had gone. He spoke about space and freedom in a relation, that being the reason why he never questioned her or was never upset that she hadn't told him about Raghav. Today also he tells her that though he wants to be with her he doesn't want to come between papa and princess.
Such a freedom is must in every relation. A person should not be forced to speak about their past, especially when you think it could be a sensitive topic which could hurt your partner when he or she is asked about it, there is no use of going on that road unless the other person feels absolutely comfortable about opening up. There should be freedom of letting the people you love let time spend with other people they love. All the more if a a very close relative had just come back after a long while.
It is just so heartwarming to see such love which is vast as an ocean but not the slight bit suffocating, but still very and I mean very protective though not at the cost of freedom.
