It's a show. It was never intended to be a straightforward story. It was never really intended to be Vyom and Sharanya love story. Hints, many of them, have stared us all in the face from the start. Some of us took it for what it was and others chose to understand it the way they wanted to understand. Actors are not meant to give out the suspense in their initial interviews or on social media platforms. Neither are initial promos meant to give out the entire plotline or suspense.
Vyom's dark shade was meant to be a part of the suspense and a twist in the tale. So was Shiv and Sharanya's romantic angle. How can initial promos give out the suspense in a thriller? Perhaps if it was a saas bahu kind of drama, it could summerise the story in an initial promo, but how would they keep the audience in tenterhooks if they give out everything at the start in a suspense thriller?!
I am not a huge fan of the techniques used in the show, and neither am I a fan of either actor. I am here for the story - which I understood as the love story between a ghost and a human that transcends death. There are many like me, who want to watch this story. And as long as the producers stick to what they planned to show, I will watch. If Vyom is negative, I knew he would be because to have both leads as positive is impossible. One will always be stronger and more charismatic than the other. To stand on the same platform as Shiv, sadly Vyom had to take on a dark shade and this was indicated from the start, if one just wanted or took the trouble to understand - for example - when Vyom warned Sharanya of Dr Amit's philandering ways, was he really warning her? or diverting her attention? The story was up there free to be interpreted either way- correctly the way the makers wanted you to, or the way you wanted to. He stopped her from learning the truth everytime. He was never as innocent as he tried to make himself out to be.
Enjoy the show and the shades that everyone brings to it!
Please avoid responding if you have anything aggressive, unpleasant or offensive to say in this thread. I would rather have no responses than to add to the negativity.
The only reason I made this post is that it shocks me how normal human beings turn vile, unpleasant and verbally attack each other in the name of a fictional show and fictional characters. A majority of the people here, I take it, are young. We live in times when humans gun fellow humans down in the name of religion, ideals and beliefs. When head's of state ask innocent people to leave under the pretext of race and religion. Innocent people are persecuted on twitter and instagram and the rest of the rubbish social media platforms available, driving some to death. Women and children are raped and killed. There is SO much violence in the world already. Instead of respecting each others views and likes and dislikes we take pleasure in bringing down and shaming others. Are we human's or animals? Its a fictional show at the end of the day. It is there today and not tomorrow. But we will all be around... here or not. I'm sure it will not kill us to be a little more respectful to each other! Perhaps the world will seem a little less cruel.
Many thanks!
