Kaalakandi 1st day- 1cr. Should Saif call it quits?

Kaalakandi and Mukkabaaz are a bit of a disaster as both films are struggling for 1 crore nett. Kaalakandi may just get 1 crore nett which is similar to Chef while Mukkabaaz will be around the 75 lakhs nett mark. The gap between the two is a little closer than in the morning as a 35-40% gap will be cut to around 20-25%.

The only interesting thing this week will be is which film is the worse of a bad lot and our money would be on Kaalakandi as the trailer itself was unwatchable. This race would have only been Kaalakandi and Mukkabaaz but the release issues of 1921 have put this film a notch lower and in the same bracket as Kaalakandi and Mukakbaaz.

Should Saif seriously call it quits? Chef opened at similar numbers, now this. I mean he is seriously embarrassing himself now. Even C grade movies make this much.

Yes. He's only getting films b/c hes related to film/sport stars. Also, he's ugly. And he can barely act.

I like his film choices, and I know I will enjoy this movie. I loved the trailer,so clearly don't agree with whoever wrote this article.

Maybe Netflix will be a better playing field for him. He's one of the few who like doing something different, and it would be a shame to see that go in favor of just box office obsession.
