As the song progressed, one by one, couples started to get on the stage as most of the elders joined their own group and started to enjoy the party.
With the slow pace music running all around, and her eyes focused on the ground by side, her body trembling with his hold and his body radiating heat for both, they moved slowly their feet as Suraj's hand climbed down to her waist as she gripped his shoulder tightly, and lifted her eyes shyly to see at him.
"Chakor!" and that's all he could say as the magic got broken by the round of applause for the newly married couple.

*** What was that?
Why it was not so strange to be in his arms? ***

- I know I like her as a person.
But do I like her in that way? -

Distancing themselves, they smiled at their guests.
"You carry on!" he said to her pointing at Ayan as he excused himself and went to attend his guest.

*** I need to keep distance with him.
I tend to forget the world! ***

As she neared her brother and her son, the little one jumped in her hands, making her smile ear to ear.
"Missed Mummy this much!"
"Paaapaaa" he said showing his hand in the direction where Suraj was standing.

*** Even if I want, my baby is not leaving me! ***

"Baby wants to go to Papa?"
He started to nod his head.
Smiling at his antics "Papa is busy baby! He will come to you soon!"
"I will prepare his dinner!" Shieku said before getting inside.
"Is baby hungry?" Chakor asked massaging his tummy, making him giggle "Come! Let's go!" and she turned to go.

*** Wished everyone was here, my parents, his parents, his brother and sister-in-law. Everyone!
Then? Would I be here, married to him in that case? No! ***

During all these time, those two men who entered the premise, were having chit chat with other men.
"Excuse us! We have to go and greet Mr. Rajvanshi." the elder man said and turning to his left "Shall we move Vivaan?"
Nodding his head, the young man passed a smile at the others in the group before following his father.

"Oups! Sorry sir!" Chakor who collided with the elder said as she checked Ayan.

*** Luckily nothing happened! ***

"Chakor!" and all the colours left her face recognizing the voice.

*** NO No no this can't be happening!
They can't be here!
I need to go away! ***

She immediately turned to go when that same voice hit her "Stop! You can't escape now!"
"Whose child is this?" Vivaan asked.
Putting a hand on the baby's head and making him face behind her, she turned to face her so called uncle and his son!

*** I need to face them!
It's today or tomorrow!
So let's face it now! ***

"Whoever he is, it is none of your business!" she said sternly with firing eyes.
"So he is someone important I see!" her uncle.
"You are married?" her cousin asked seeing her with all the signs of a married woman.
"It might be to live in this world, she is disguised liked this." Her uncle said.
Not wanting to be there anymore, she turned to go.
"Wait Miss!" her cousin.
"Mrs." a strong voice came from their behind.

*** He is here! ***

- They can't talk to her in that tone! -

As the men turned to see who it could be, the gentle man slowly walked towards Chakor and Ayan "Mrs. Chakor Suraj Rajvanshi!" he said word by word as he stood by her side, his hand went around her shoulder in a possessive way "My wife! The girl my parent have selected for me!"

- Let them find the rest of the thing I know! -

*** What is he talking about?
His parents choose me?
Then
No it is not possible!
That was the reason!
This is the day! ***

"You got to know everything?" her uncle asked him with hate and venom in his voice for which Suraj just smirked "That is the reason for inviting us!" he concluded as he faced his son "Let's go!"
"But Dad!" and he got quiet seeing his determined father's action.
"Life is too short! Be happy in your own world!" the elder man said before getting lost in the crowd, along with his son.

*** Is it kind of threatening? ***

- They don't have the idea of what is waiting for them! -

"Forget them and carry on!" Suraj said to his wife and got her acceptance through a nod as she went from there, leaving him to see her move until he couldn't see her sight.

The event ended in good terms and everyone retired to their own room while Ayan got settled in his cradle, besides the bed.
"Not feeling sleepy?" he asked her as he got out of the washroom.
"Sorry!" she said facing her knotted hands as her eyes started to brim with hot tears.
"Hey!" as he approached her with few long strides "You are not at fault!"
"They killed your family members" she said as he took a place next to her.

"No need to cry!" taking a napkin and removing her hand from her face "You are not at fault." removing her tears.
"But they"
"Shhh" locking their eyes "We will see what to do tomorrow! Now sleep! Don't over think!"
"Thank you!" she said and hugged him to get free of her emotional turmoil.

"We need to file a case against them!"
"Hmm"
"We need to make them pay for what they did!"
"Hmm"
"We need to"
"Chakor!"
"Hmmm" lifting her head from his chest.
"Sleep now! We will see tomorrow!"
"Case?"
He smiled at her and cleaned the strains of tear from the corner of her eyes "Be ready tomorrow morning at 8!"
"Hmm" she nodded.
"Now sleep!"
She smiled at him and she moved, both of them got to feel in what position they are.

His hands moved slowly from her back, while her hands are taken off from around his neck.
Moving away from each other, avoiding eye contacts, he got up immediately and went on his side of bed to avoid more awkwardness.
With a shy smile playing on her lips, she turned on her side to check on Ayan before getting on the left side of the bed, after turning off the light.
She laid down and murmured a "Good night!" as she closed her eyes pulling the quilt over her.
"Good night Chakor!" is the last thing she heard as she slept thing of today's events.
