Not So Dear Dadi,
Had It been some time ago it might have been a dear but now since you have been a big meanie and not accepting it or realizing it I will settle for not so dear. Won't go much into this part as am not writing this to talk about the wrong you did with Naira as the main point, rather to request you to understand certain things and do something about it.
I'll start by a question. Do you love Karthik? Well silly one I know you love him but I want to know how exactly do you love him. Do you love selflessly as to let him be happy however with whoever he wants or do you only want his happiness to be surrounded around you. I suspect the latter is true. I wouldn't call this wrong because we all want that we maybe the reason of happiness of the person we love. We all want that we get most attention and time from that person.
However you must understand that if you do really love someone it shouldn't matter who their reason of happiness is you should just be satisfied seeing that glow in their face. You may have come across the dialogue khushi batne se badhti his and love is the biggest happiness, it isn't a piece of cake that you will get less if more people were to come. Yes the time given to each person may decrease as more and more people add into our lives that doesn't the older people the people who are in our hearts first are not special anymore.
It isn't Karthik who has changed well everyone changes from the time they are born to the present day. I am no the person who I was five years back. People around us and situations do have an effect on us. It isn't only Naira but everyone around Karthik, especially the people who he loves that effects him and has the few changes Naira caused been bad. Karthik came home for her isn't that what you wanted have Karthik in GV. If you talk about the times Karthik stood up for Naira against you like when you spoke badly or Kiran when you threw Naira out then let me remind you Karthik has always been like that hadn't he left the house much before Naira entered his life, Naira wasn't there then but he took the decision of going away because he couldn't be with the people who wronged his mother.
Don't give dhamkis and stuff cause you are hurting your own grandson in all this. If you think he doesn't love you think again. He had been sitting heartbroken on that bench still sad that Naira had not trusted him, yet when he got to know of your sickness, he forgot his own pain, he forgot her and came running to you, doesn't that tell you about his love. You did wrong by speaking badly to Kiran and your action of throwing Naira was worse, of course at these situations you can't except Karthik to side you, he will stand up to you and tell you, you are wrong. When a parent scolds a child don't the others say it is for your own good, this is something like that he is only pointing out the mistakes so you realize your error but instead of understanding that you start going on silent mode so that he goes behind you because he really loves you like anything. Yesterday he was hurt when you called him Karthik. You knew this too you admitted it to yourself yet you couldn't go and accept your fault or ponder over what you had done to cause Karthik to get mad and realize that he had every right to get angry.
I am requesting you let Karthik go, let him loose, let him free from your mind, he isn't going to run away, he loves you way too much, don't hold grudges / taunt the other people / women he loves, by doing that you will just hurt him when he gets to know the truth. Let him love everyone he wants to I do realize this is hard since this is like Karthik and well I have seen how Karthik loves especially his women no matter which relation they share with him, he is a kind of guy who loves with everything he got but like I said love isn't cake they won't be less for you if more people come. So Chill.
