Maan noticed her smiling face and regretted that he never noticed this when he was alive. "I guess you are right, He said looking ahead. "Thank you for the supper, Geet said breaking the silence. "We shall be taking your leave now, She added. Ghosty looked at her weirdly. "Why did you say we are leaving, He inquired. "Just wait and watch, She whispered. "Jade is far from here, so I would ask you to stay here with us as our guests until we make arrangements...and also we have our wedding by the end of this month, so we would be happy if you would stay and join us, The Prince said making Geet do a victory dance inwardly and Ghosty to stare in shock. "I hope we won't be a bother to you, Sir, Geet said.
"Of course not and we would be happy, The Prince said. "Thank you for your kindness, Sir. We would definitely attend your wedding before resuming our impending journey, Geet said.
"I see you have guests today,They heard a female voice and looked up to see Amrita there. "Woahh, she's prettier in this era, ghosty you sure were a lucky guy, Geet jested. "Shut up and just how did you know that the Prince will stop you, He asked. "Hmm...it's a secret, She grinned."Oh God, Geet how did you hurt your hand,She rushed to her looking at her delicate hand which was turning red. "It's nothing Amrita, it will be fine, The Princess said.
"Wait just sit still ...it is not going to heal like that. Prince Maan may be the greatest sorcerer of Chronos but only I have the power to heal,She smiled. She used her powers healing the Princess' hand. "Thank you Amrita, Prince Maan said relieved. "I can do at least that much for a friend, She smiled. "She don't seem bad, that means you were the only confused one there, Ghosty, Geet said. "She did love me ...or was I wrong, He said noticing Princess Amrita's expression who was happy seeing them. "She's happy, He muttered. "Of course I was you dumb idiot,They heard Amrita's voice. "Now listen both of you, you have to watch the old me carefully, there is something you two must figure out and stop my death, They heard her again. "Alright future Granny, Geet grinned. "Ah, I'm sorry, you must be tired, Princess said. She called the maid and told her to escort them to the guest room. The maid escorted them to a beautiful room. She excused herself and Geet just admired the beauty of the room.
"Ghosty, you sleep on the couch and I will get the bed, got it, She said. "Wait a minute, why do I get the couch and you get the whole bed, He argued. "Because, I'm a girl, She stated as a matter of fact. "So, He asked not getting her point. "So, where are your manners, ghosty, you should give the lady the comfort, She said. "No way, I'm taking that couch, you take it and beside, you don't even behave like a lady so why do you expect this courtesy from me, He said. "Alright then, let's have a toss, Geet said. "Toss??, He looked at her confused. "Oh ghosty, here we have this coin...I take heads you take tails whichever side wins takes the bed, what say, Geet said showing him a coin. "Alright, He said. She prayed she wins but the coin somehow landed up straight. "Okay then we will share, She said nonchalantly.
"S..S..Share...are you mad, how can I share the bed with anyone I'm not married to, The ghosty said. "Oh come on ghosty, you already had two women beside you, and with one you are even having a son, so stop thinking too much. I'm not going to pounce on you and as for you I think you are aware of my fighting skills already, She grinned reminding him of the kicks he received. "Alright, He said giving up on logic with her.
Next morning, Geet was on the bed while Ghosty on the floor ...courtesy to the kicks Geet gave him in the sleep. "Good morning Ghosty...what are you doing on the floor, She asked. "I didn't know that you get possessed by a fighter's spirit by night, He said sarcastically. "What do you mean, She said scratching her head. "Never mind, I will take the couch from now, He said getting up the floor. "Waittt, I will take the washroom first, She yelled. "And why is that so, He glared. "Because I want to, She grinned.
"And what do you do about your attire, He said reminding her that they had only this. They heard a knock on the door. Ghosty went to open only to see a whole lot of new dresses for both of them. "Sir, His Highness has sent these for you and your wife. The breakfast will be ready shortly. If you have any other requirement, please do inform us, The attendant said. "Thank you. We will tell you if any thing is needed, Maan said. "Woah, these dresses are so beautiful, your old self does have a great taste, Geet grinned. "I don't remember being this kind...it must be the Princess who must have suggested this, He thought.
They were moving to the dining hall when they heard someone."You do understand, what I'm saying right, Princess or you know what I'm capable of,Someone was threatening another. She peeped in that direction only to see her grandfather, Prince Aryan...and Princess Amrita. "Why is grandpa threatening her, She thought. "Geet, what are you doing, eavesdropping is bad manners, She heard Maan whisper. "Grandpa, was threatening future Granny, She said. "Don't address them as your grandparents, not Princess Geet, nor Amrita neither Aryan, got it. Now let's leave before they spot us, Maan warned.They left for the breakfast table and Prince Maan and Princess Geet were already there. "Thank you for your generosity, Ghosty said thanking them. "My fiancee, the Princess is the one to be thanked Sir, she bought this to my notice that since yo were lost, you might need a few essential things. We are happy that you found them useful, The Prince said. "We are grateful to you, Ghosty said.
They were done with the breakfast when the Prince left the dining area. Geet signaled ghosty to follow while she followed the Princess looking at her sad look.May I join you, Princess, Geet smiled. "Sure, The Princess nodded. "So why do you look sad,Geet inquired.
"Ah, it's nothing, I just feel like sometimes I have been imposed on Prince Maan when he likes Princess Amrita, She said thoughtfully. "Why would you think so, as far as I can see Princess Amrita looks happy seeing you two together and the Prince was really concerned about you yesterday, Geet tried to boost her up. "I...don't..know..it's just that, before she could complete her feet slipped but Geet was quick enough to grab her. "Are you alright, Princess, She asked. "You are quick in your reflexes, young lady. I was about to help her there, She looked up to see a man there whom she recognized as her grandpa.
"Gr...I mean, yes Sir that I am, She said. "Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Prince Aryan, Maan's friend and Amrita's fiance, He said. "Hmm...what's the use of that...you are marrying granny anyway grandpa if I don't stop that wedding, Geet mumbled incoherently. "Did you say something, young lady,He asked. "Ah, no Sir, just thinking about my personal issues, She said. "Prince Aryan, yes Maan did tell me about you, She smiled. "I hope it's something good you hear, Milady, He smiled. "He was all praises for you, Young Lord. It seemed to me he trusts you more than anyone, She finished with a smile."Oh so grandpa used to flirt with granny... and my sweet little granny is not getting anything, let's do something about it, Geet thought.She thought to later discuss it with Ghosty.
