@freebird - I have the same set of questions plus many more loose ends! It is just not enough if Shivaay knows about Pinky's hand in the kidnap drama! (Another major loophole there was once the real Shivaay was in OM, why didn't Pinky warn Kamini and gang?)

Also ShivayAnika - if indeed he was watching over her chawl for all those 3 months, he shd know she was struggling for money! (Not that her dresses implied that she was in want of cash!)

But the pain he felt and wanted to feel more was - he thinking she had destroyed something beautiful between them! Think - he the great SSO had finally met his match and was willing to give himself to her- in effect - surrender himself - leaving aside his NKK and all his tadi - and she goes and attacks his one Achilles heel - one vulnerable spot - the birth secret of his dear brother Om.

Even if she had said something abt his parents, he could have pardoned her but she did the unthinkable! Made his hard kept secret public for all the world to see!

So, he just couldnt forgive himself for still wishing if only she hadn't! That plus his heart still yearning for her was what made him invite the goons to hit him so that physical pain could maybe dull his mental ache!

Another thing that always is contradictory with how CVs show his character is they show him with much less common sense than what he is capable of at other times! Before Annika's penultimate showdown, there were man clues leading to it. Her supposedly fake fight over the choice of jewelry Pinky gave! Her video taping him for memory sake, her appearing disturbed - all these pkus her uncharacteristic display of anger should have rung enough warning bells in him!

In fact, the minute she started her well orchestrated drama, he should have taken her aside to their room,

. Instead they washed all their dirty linen in public or he let her!

Also, what was his act of vandalizing that chawl board with samarjeets name? So many loopholes!

& other is where your heart silently screams in pain

It was a beautiful scene,she looking at her moon trying to find her sun whom she herself withdrew from to let him glow while her sun was finding solace in looking at his moon that had faded away. But when he looked he felt what had happened.At that moment it was not important as to who did what but the fact that they werent together.

Then came a fleeting thought, " Why did I let her go?" coz when u r in love u tend to blame urself for the pain. Therefore he wanted that pain to tell his mind that what he did was wrong!

Once he took the physical pain,his heart said,

"Shivaay, you cannot be healed while you hold on to the pain, you must let it go, so that we are free to let you embrace Anika again"😳
