There was this scene where we see that Shivaay has a glance of Annika after three torturous months. Shivaay goes to the chawl where Annika was staying with her friend Chanda. In front of her house,the great Shivaay Singh Oberoi gets mugged by some goons.The surprising thing was he did not resist them,in fact welcomed the physical beating without any resistance !

WHY ???

I feel that the pain in his heart was unbearable and he welcomed the physical pain in his body hoping that this would mask the terrible yearning in his heart and mind.

It was a beautiful scene,she looking at her moon trying to find her sun whom she herself withdrew from to let him glow while her sun was finding solace in looking at his moon that had faded away. But when he looked he felt what had happened.At that moment it was not important as to who did what but the fact that they werent together.

Then came a fleeting thought, " Why did I let her go?" coz when u r in love u tend to blame urself for the pain. Therefore he wanted that pain to tell his mind that what he did was wrong!

Once he took the physical pain,his heart said,

"Shivaay, you cannot be healed while you hold on to the pain, you must let it go, so that we are free to let you embrace Anika again"😳

Do I make sense?

I will have to disagree on the bold part though. I think this was a regular thing for Shivaay. I believe he kept a watch over her throughout those 3 months because the thought of him to just leave Anika without making sure she is okay/safe is so unbearable for me. (HS ji if you are seeing this somehow then please make them talk about their 3 months separation 😳) Coming to the scene I love how its shot and what it symbolizes. Separated from each other, both of them are lost in a sea of despair and want to look for hope. She looks at Moon while Shivaay looks at her, because for him she is his moon ❤️

The scene that followed it was equally heartbreaking. Shivaay was on a path of self destruction because he had literally lost his jeene ki vajah. He couldn't live without her but he also couldn't forgive her. Just like you described, the pain in his heart became too much and he thought maybe the physical pain would over power it but ofcourse it didnt work 😭 Kudos to HS for such deep writing 👏

I remember this scene, was very painful to see the sheer misery in their faces, wanting to reach out so much and yet unable to take the first steps towards reconciliation.

He was at Ragini's house that day, and he felt her.. like a sudden deep staggering breath he felt her proximity. He didn't see her but that distinct sense her presence invoked in him was there. Her little moon charm reached his hand just to tell him that their paths did cross.

He sensed her, but why didn't She? Why was he the only one plagued with this sense of acuity? It angered him, and he threw the moon charm away. Angry that he couldn't put her away as easily as she did him...

But he couldn't let it go. He found himself outside her chawl, he knew exactly where she was all the time. He arrived angrily, wanting to take over the place she lived at. But all the rage flew when she appeared at her window.

The look in his eyes when he saw her. 😭 a mix of deep love and the sheer amount he missed her. She was all he could see, but her eyes were fixed in melancholy at the moon. She didn't sense him there, she didn't turn to him.

Angrily he decided to hurt himself. She usually sensed when he was in trouble. He paid goons to beat him up and she did sense his pain but she didn't come to see.

Was it all a lie? Did she not sense me at all? How could I have been so wrong about her? Turning from the empty window sill, he left...

She watched the moon, and he had seen his.

P.S some ranting/cribbing

1. I wanted Shivaay to know about bakshish thing which Tia said to Anika. He still doesn't know why Anika agreed to Daksh proposal. Anika put her character at stake to save SSO but it was insulted with bakshish. This could have brought up sometime later in the story.

2. Tia getting herself kidnapped again dint come to SSO notice. 🥱

3. Nayantara character is still not closed. Shivaay doesn't know it was his mother who brought her . Anika went through so much because of her again not explored or closed on this

4. Mahi Kamini Shakti Pinky angle is full of loop holes. These are the characters which completely changed Shivika life

5. Shivika separation or in other words forced Shivika separation. Both were broken. Yet nothing explored properly. Shivaay don't have any idea what Anika went through also the other way. Rather we got ragini track.

6. Who was stopping Anika from getting jobs. Why was SSO behind that chawl. Did he ever come to know it was actually Samar her boss whom she met in restaurant. Why are all these left with loop holes

7. That scene where he is looking at her and she looking at moon. It was so beautiful but it lacked continuity 😭 I was so hoping Anika will get a glance of this but sigh no it dint 😭
