I don't think it was sudden. Suna hai ke Jab koi pyara mai hota hai Tao aas pass walo ko pehle pata chalata hai jo ke munna pandit and viewer ko pata chal hi Chuka tha it' just that it needed to be taken out and make him realize too. Which Naina did..her not forgiving him ever, her not not in being talking term with him has done. I have said earlier also that Sameer not being realized is addicted to Naina and In fact I m very much impressed by story's progress. This scene was conceived and shot much before even before those rumors so definitely it' not for TRP or because of any viewers pressure.
