In Mumbai, Handa house

A small but a beautiful house with two rooms having a small garden in front.. It has many plants and beautiful flowers blooming..

Rano:Geet beta, jaldi aao nasta ke liye...uff eh ladki kabhi bhi time per nahi aati.. yeh sab aapke wajhe se hua hain ji, jab bhi dekho aap uski side lete ho.. bighad gayi hain aapki beti

Raj: Arre rano tum subhs subha kyu chilla rahi ho.

Geet: Good morning dad, kya hua mama ko itna gussa kyu aaya hain

Raj: woh kya hain na geet abhi tak koi uska khana nayi khaya hain na isliye..

Geet: oh toh aaj naya recipe try kiya hain kya..

both of them hi-fi each other and geet winks at her dad..

Rano: haan haan dono baap beti udao mera mazak.. main bhi dekhti hoon geet tum kya karogi shaadi ke baad.

raj becomes sad and caress geet's hair

Raj: koi baat nahi rano, geet ko kuch mat kehna waise bhi do ya teen saal mein ye apni sasural chali jayegi

Geet: dnt worry papa, main shaadi hi nahi karoongi bus aapke aur mama ke saath rahoongi..

Rano wipes her tear and says bus bohot ho gaya ab dono breakfast kijiye..

This is their daily routine teasing each other, laughing and having fun.. Raj drops geet to her college and goes to his work.

In Delhi, Khurana mansion

A beautiful mansion having a huge garden with fountain in front of the mansion.. A big and elegant chandelier is in the hall.. Royalty and elegance is oozing from the mansion.

Daadima is sitting in the hall and reading newspaper while meera and naintara are in the kitchen supervising the breakfast...

Meera: ma breakfast is ready..

Daadi: (stern face) hmmm sabko bulaye (and goes to the dining hall)

naintara comes to hall.

meera: yeh ma ko kya ho gaya subha subha itna gussa

naintara just giggles..

Meera: oh ab mujke pata chala, tum do ke dimag mein kuch khichidi pak rahi hain..

Yash , Dev and annie are sitting for the breakfast

Maan comes and sits... As usual he is speaking on phone regarding his business and shouting on someone

Daadi: what is this maan yeh ghar hain tumhare office nahi jo tum itni jor jor se chilla rahe ho..

Maan ignores his daadi's drama and starts eating..

Daadi: Naina aap gift laye hain. (everyone calls her as naina)

Naina: ji daadima

Yash: kiske liye ma?

Annie: arre dad bhool gaye kya kal mishra uncle ke bete ki shaadi hain..

Meera: Annie tumhare papa bhude ho rahe hain isliye kuch yaad nahi reheta..

everyone giggles and yash glares..

Daadi: waise maan humne jo envelope diya tha aapne dekha kya

Maan: daadima aap jante hain ki mujhe saadi nahi karni aap kyun mujhe taang karte hain.

Daadi: beta sapna acchi ladki hain.. pata hain naina mere saare friends jab apni bahu ke baare mein baat karte hain mugje kitna bura lagta hain...

naina: woh to hain daadima.. veerji mujhe jethani kab milegi?

maan: bas kijiye dono...

annie: bhai, mere saare college friends aape marte hain.. agar aap bole to mein kisi ko aapke liye set kardu...

everyone starts laughing maan just glares and goes away..

In Khurana Constructions

Maan: adi noida wala project ka status kya hain.. tumne Mr. Chopra se baat ki..

Adi: ji sir lekin..

Maan: lekin kya adi...

Adi: maine unhe bohot samjaya ki woh apni galti maan le par woh apni zid par kadhe hain..

Maan gets very angry and shouts

Maan: aadi... humhare company mei jo loss hui hain unke wajhe se hua hain... mujhe woh insaan sadak par chaiye, uske saare business barbad kardo.. samje...

Adi: lekin sir itna sa galti ke liye...

Maan: tum mere baat manoge ya mei tumhe sadak par le aao...

Adi agrees and goes away

Geet's exam had finished and she had done lots of shopping and when rano chided geet for spending so much on shopping she just gave a pout to which her dad just smiled...

Here meera did shopping for maan as he was least interested in that.. it was great that he was attending the marriage..

After two days both the families were ready to leave to their destination... geet was so excited... Both maan and geet left for the marriage unknowing that their lives would change forever...

geet's family reached dehli, geet was so excited but at the same time her heart was restless, she shrugged the feeling thinking that it was due to the long journey...

when they reached her maasi's place she just rushed and hugged her maasi leaving her luggage behind... 'oh massi i missed you sooo much... ' she just wacked her hand and said 'ah ha agar itna miss karto ho tum mujhe to shaadi ke din kyun ayyi pehle hi nahi aa sakti thi kya' geet put her hand on maasi's shoulder 'kya karoon maasi exams the the na warna main ek mahine pehle hi aa jati... waise maasi aap udaas mat ho mere exams toh katam ho gaye na toh main ek mahina rahoongi yaha par tikh hain' mahi smiles and pats her cheek 'haan ab toh tumhe rehena padega'..

rohan comes and twists her ears 'maasi ki bacchi humesha kuch na kuch reason dethi rehti ho' geet starts shouting 'chodo bhai dehko maasi mujhe dukh raha hain' mahi slaps on rohan's hand...

'Arre bhai hume bhi dekho hum bhi yaha hain' raj and meera comes from behind... rohan goes and touches their feet 'aayiye jijaji aao rano' mahi welcomes them... 'arre bhai aap mujhe bhabi se kab milaoge' mahi tells everyone to get ready 'geet hum aaj sham ko shaadi ke waqt tumhe specially priya se miladege teekh hain, tu to rohan ki laadi hain na' to which geets smiles and nods, rohan side hugs her...

At the same time khuranas come to radha's house... she welcomes them and every one discuss the ceremonies... radha informs them that the baarat would come in the evening... priya is very haapy that her maan bhai has come at the same time excited for her marriage...

In the evening everyone gets ready and leave for priya's place for marriage...

geet is wearing a white saari with red border and matching ruby jewelry ... she is dancing all the way with her cousins... her dad is also dancing...

radha welcomes them... everyone is teasing rohan, everytime geet is taking priya's name rohan keeps blushing and every one are having a gala time meanwhile priya is in her room getting ready.. meera, annie and naintara are helping her...

radha introduces khuranas to mahi and the handas 'ayiya mahi ji yeh meri maa hain Savitri Devi Khurana, yeh mere bhai Yash Singh Khurana aur yeh inke bete dev ' she searches for maan he is not there 'inke ek aur bete hain maan'...

mahi touches daadi's feet & she blesses her... 'ji nameste.. aur radha ji yeh meri choti behen rano, mere jijaji raj handa aur yeh inki beti geet' rano and raj touch daadi feet, rano gestures geet to touch daadi's feet but geet shocks every one by hugging her 'hai daadi ma waise me aapko daadi ma bhula sakti hoon na.. aap itni young laghti hain i mean aap bilkul aisa nahi lagti ki aapke pote hain and winks at her' rano slaps her forehead 'sorry maaji main apni beti ki taraf se mafi maangti hoon' and scolds geet but she just pouts...

'arre nahi ranoji aap mafi kyun maang rahi hain, koi baat nahi mujhe accha laga.. kitni pyaari bacchi hain aapki geet aur aap mujhe daadi bhula sakti hain' and touches geet's cheek she smiles at her...

mahi requests radha to let geet meet priya and radha takes geet to priya's room 'priya yeh dekho kaun ayya hain tumse milne, rohan ki behan geet' priya turns and looks at her... geet goes and talks to her'hai bhabi kaise ho aap, pata hain aapko ki main aapse milne ke liye kitne din se wait kar rahi thi, aap bohat sunder lag rahi ho' priya smiles at her ' thanks geet, main bhi tumse milna chahthi thi, rohan tumhare baare main humesha baat karte hain...'

both of them instantly take liking to each other and starts chatting... khurana ladies look at them in awe...

later meera meets daadi asking her if she is fine and does she need anything but daadi does not reply and is in deep thought... meera touches her shoulder 'maa kya hua aap kya soch rahi hain' daadi points at geet who is chatting and laughing with priya's and her cousins... 'dehko waha meera woh ladki kitni pyari hain uske bubbly nature ne mere dil ko choo diya' meera smiles 'haan maa maina use priya ke room me dekha bohot pyari hain'

'meera tumhe woh ladki maan ke liye kaise lagi...'

'maa apne toh mere mooh ki baat cheen li, par maan kabhi nahi maanega'

daadi sighs 'woh toh hain bechare humare maan ki saari khushi cheen li ush ladki ne... ' and wipes her tears 'aap udaas mat hoyiye maa bhagwan maan ke saari khushiya lautaa denge aur humare maan ka shaadi bhi hoga ek acchi ladki ke saath...'

the pre-marriage rituals start... everyone are at the mandap... panditji asks for the aarti thal... mahi gets up to go but geet tells her that she will bring...

radha sees that maan is not there, she tells meera to call him, meera sends annie to bring maan...

maan is busy in the room talking to adi on phone... annie comes and tells maan that everyone are calling him.. maan tells he'll come in few minutes and sends her back...

Geet is coming holding the aarti thal checking the things on the thal , Maan is coming from the opposite side wearing a white color sherwani seeing his mobile...

all the flowers fall on Geet and the red kumkum falls on Maan...

geet is just shocked and angry... maan is also angry and his eyes are splitting fire... Both glare at each other...

geet starts shouting "dekh ke nahi chal sakhte kya" and tries to remove the flowers on her. maan is shocked he glares at her "tum ne yeh sab kiya aur mujh par chilla rahi ho pagal ladki".

geet's mouth becomes big O "kya kaha tumne agar phir se kaha na toh..." "haan ek baar nahi balki hazaar baar kahoonga ki tum pagal ho kya karoogi"...

geet looks up "dekha babaji ek toh inhone puja ki thal giradi aur upar se mujhe chilla rahe hai" "ek ladki upar kya dekh rahi ho mera sherwani kharab kar diya"

hearing the commotion all the people come there everyone are shocked to see the scene maan's sherwani has become red with kumkum colour and geet has flower on her head and face...

panditji notices that the diya is on the floor and all the oil is on the floor.. panditji looking on the floor tells "arre yeh kya puja ki thal gir gaya yeh toh abshagun hai... aaj kuch anhoni hone wala hai"

everyone is shocked listening to that rano comes over and pulls geet "geet yeh kya kar diya agar tumse koi kaam nahi hota toh karti kyun ho" and turns her head away geet has tears in her eyes "nahi maa maine kuch nahi kiya yeh thal iski waja se gira" pointing towards maan..

meera asks maan "maan kya kiya tumne, pata hai tume kitna galat kaam kiya".. maan shouts "maa aap mujhe daat rahi ho is ladki ne aakar mujhse taakraya me nahi.. mujhe toh aana hi nahi chahiye tha" and goes away...

annie gets angry and shouts at geet "kyun kiya aapne aisa mere bhai naaraz ho gaya na" and runs away... everyone goes away leaving geet and her family

rano scolds geet" kyun kiya geet aisa main har baar kehti thi ki koi bhi kaam sambalkar karo magar nahi har waqt apni manmani" geet is crying & raj is consoling her and tries to tell something to rano but rano stop him "aaj app kuch mat kahiye aapki hi laad pyaar ki natija hain yeh "

by that time mahi comes with another thali and tells rano to calm down and tells everyone to come as the wedding has started.. geet keeps standing there and someone is watching all this looks at geet in a lusty way...

In the meanwhile maan is angrily packing his bag meera comes in and tells him to calm down "maa main wapas jaa raha hoon" meera is shocked "maan aise chote chote baato ke liye itna gussa kyun, haan aapki sherwani par kumkum gir gaya toh kya hua doosra pehan lo" "nahi maa bus bohot ho gaya main jaa raha hoon" "nahi maan please mat jao priya udas ho jayegi aur didi woh kya sochegi" maan finally and changes to another sherwani and goes down with his mom...

The wedding is completed with all the rituals but some of them are not happy about the puja thal falling down so daadi goes and talks to pandit to talk about it.. geet is very upset and leaves from there after all the ceremonies maan also leaves to his room...

suddenly the lights goes off and someone pulls geet inside a room she tries to scream but the person closes her mouth.. she tries to free herself but his grip is very strong.. she hits him with a vase and tries to run away but again he catches her and tries to force on her...

he removes her saree and rips her blouse geet is crying and shouting.. he is about to remove her blouse someone catches him from behind and hits him very badly at the same time lights starts flickering ... the person runs away geet is sitting in a corner shivering and does not notice anything she is clutching her saree...

her savoir comes and touches her she backs off.. lights come back and she is shocked to see maan... she gets angry and gathers herself and holds his hand and goes towards the hall... everyone is shocked to see geet's state rano and raj goes near her and asks her what happened... geet is very silent and immediately slaps maan very hard his eyes is splitting fire...

gasps are heard in the hall... everyone comes and annie shouts at geet "aapki itni himmat ki aap ne mere bhai ko tapad mara" meera angrily goes and stops annie "geet kya kiya mere maan ne aapne tapad kyun mara" geet replies "isne mere rape karne ki koshish ki"

maan is shocked beyond his wits and shouts " ek toh maine tumhe bachchaya aur tum mujh pe ilzam laga rahi ho dimag toh tikh hain na tumari " dev comes and tells "haan geet bhai mere sath hi the bus sirf ek ya do min se pehle gaye the" meera tells "haan geet maan aise kabhi nahi kar sakte main jaanti hon aapne bete ko"..

geet shouts "haan aap sab toh iske hi tarafdaari kahenge na, kyun daadima app kya kahenge" daadi comes and caress her head "bete maan aisa kabhi nahi karega shayad aapse koi galati hui ho"... raj comes forward and shouts "maaji main jaanta hoon ki maan aapke pote hain par iska matlab yeh nahi ki app sab galat kaam ko bhi chupaye"

rohan comes and tells angrily "priya apni bhai ko kaho ki woh geet ke pairo par gir kar maafi maage" priya is shocked at his words "rohan!!!" "haan priya geet mere own sister ki tarah hain use kaho" "main nahi kahoongi rohan mujhe pata hain mere bhai sahi hain" "toh phir tum bhi aapne bhai ke saath wapas chali jao"...

priya starts crying and goes to mahi" maa dekha aapne rohan kya keh raha hai" mahi turns her head..

maan tells priya "mujhe maaf kardo priya sab mere wajah se ho raha hai maine kaha tha na ki main nahi aaunga par tum hi nahi maani" priya replies "nahi bhai main aapko jaanti hoon aapne kuch nahi kiya"

maan with a stern face goes to rohan "main maafi toh nahi maagunga lekin main geet ke saath shaadi karne ke liye tayar hoon" rohan goes to geet's parents and talks to them...

they are reluctant and never expected any of the event after a lot of persuasion thy agree because they know that after so much of humiliation no one will marry geet... but geet did not agree so rohan also did not force and told priya to go back.. geet felt bad for priya and finally agreed...

all the khuranas are very much angry on geet and daadima is very upset, they know that maan is doing this to save priya's life and agree with his decision ... everyone leaves after deciding the date for maaneet's marriage and it was decided that priya's bidaai would also happen on the same day..

it's raining heavily and geet runs crying she falls down and starts crying very badly...

she had never expected her life would change like this...

In the meanwhile maan in his room is drinking and destroying everything in the room... maan in his self thought "geet tum bhi un saari ladkiyon ki tarah ho jo sirf mere daulat ke piche pade ho, main priya aur mere saare pariwaar ki ek ek aaso ka badla looga geet... tumare bure din shuru ho gaye geet..."

Geet reaches home after sometime, she thinks to talk to her parents and cancel the marriage..she reaches her parent's room before she goes in, she sees her parents.. rano is crying and raj is consoling her "kya hua rano kyu ro rahi ho" "toh main kya karun raj geet ke saath yeh kya ho gaya mujhe bohot darr lag raha hain" "haa rano pata nahi uski kismat mein kya likha hain" "shukar hain baghwan ka agar maan ne usse shadi karna se mana kardiya hota toh geet se kaun shaadi karta" "woh toh hain rano tumhare saare ristedaar ko pata chal gaya tha, toh geet ki kitni badnami hoti" geet listens to all this and changes her mind and goes to her room ...

Meanwhile daadima goes to maan's room, maan is very angry, his eyes have become red and he is drinking continuously he has already completely one bottle. daadima is upset seeing all this she keeps her hand on his shoulder, maan looks at her and stops drinking "maan yeh kya kar rahe ho itna peena teekh nahi hain beta" and caress his hair "daadi bohot raat ho gaya hain aapko sona chayiye" "maan mujhe pata hain aapne priya ke liye yeh sab kiya lekin beta yeh ek badi responsibility hain aur shaadi agar zabardasti se ho toh nibana bhi mushkil ho jayega, dobara soch lo" "daadi aap chinta mat kijiye mujhe pata hain ki main kya kar raha hoon" daadi sighs "teekh hain beta jaisa aap teekh samje main kal london ja rahi hoon apne didi ke paas kuch dino ke liye aap apna kayal rakiye" and goes back...

yash asks his mom "maa aap maan ki shaadi main nahi rahogi???" "nahi beta mujhse maan ki dard dekha nahi jayega please mujhe mat rokhna maine adi se keh kar flight ki tickets book kardi hain main kal subha hi chali jaungi" "teekh hain maa main aur meera aapko airport chod denge" daadima agrees... annie is crying in her room naina and dev are consoling her "pls annie ro mat hum kya kar sakte hain yeh toh veerji ka faisla hain na" "haan annie naina sahi keh rahi hain is waqt bro ko hamari zaroorat hain agar hum hi toot jayenge toh bro ko aur bhi bura lagega" "bhai, bhabi main us ladki ko kabhi bhi maaf nahi karoongi usne hamari saari khushiya cheen li"..

the wedding was two days later but no one was in the mood of celebrating their wedding... next day yash and meera dropped daadi to the airport.. it was technically mehandi and haldi of maan and geet but no one was interested so rano and raj were very upset that they could not marry geet in a happy and nice way.. since no one even asked anything rano herself applied mehandi to geet's hand and wrote maan in between.. geet was sad since her mom was crying it was the same with haldi rasam only rano applied haldi on geet there was no one else.. even mahi was upset as due to geet her son's marriage was spoiled so she also didn't interfere.. for maan meera was applied a bit of haldi as he was very angry and did not want any of the rituals.. it was already night no one had food, geet and her parents were sitting on the terrace together as they knew that this was the last day as next day was the marriage they were crying and hugging each other..

On the day of wedding rano dressed geet in her red saree and adorned her with whatever jewels they had.. maan also dressed in a simple kurta.. all the rituals were completed rano and raj had tears in their eyes during kanyadaan as they were scared of geet's future.. maan and geet were now husband and wife.. both geet's and priya's bidaai were done at the same time.. rano went to meera and said "main janti hoon ki yeh sab achanak hua aur koi bhi kush nahi hain par please aap sara gussa meri bacchi par mat utariye uska kayal rakhiye..." meera felt bad looking at geet crying but the mother in her stopped her she just nodded...

since priya's bidaai was also done geet's parents had to leave, geet hugged her parents one last time and cried her heart out... geet's relatives left now she was left with her in-laws.. khuranas also had to leave their mansion maan was upset as because of all this daadi had gone to london.. no one was ready to accompany geet to khurana mansion so she came alone with the driver.. maan and the rest had reached early a little later geet reached.. she saw the car and came to know that everyone had arrived so she was standing at the door and and was looking inside just then annie saw her and shouted "maharani kya aarti ke liye wait kar rahi ho wah itna kuch hone ke baad bhi umeed nahi chodi na" geet had tears in her eyes no one in her life had spoken to her like this.. meera came with arti thali and saw annie shouting at her she told annie to go inside "maa aap is keliye arti layi ho" meera sternly told annie "tum choti ho in mamlo main me dakalandazi mat karo jao apne kamre main" annie stomped her foot and went away.. meera called naina and both did the arti of geet alone maan was already in his room..

meera called her inside "aao geet ander aao tum naina ke saath jao woh tumhe maan ki kamre tak chod degi" just then nakul came and told that the dinner was ready and everyone was at the dinner table.. meera sent geet with naina to maan's room, maan was not there as he was in the dining hall naina left her and told "apni dress change karke aajao tumhe koi specially bulane koi nahi ayenge" and slams the door behind.. geet took her suitcase and looks around the room it was the most lavish room in the mansion, every nook and corner of the room oozed out with richness and royalty..she falls on the floor and starts crying she was treated as princess at her place but here no one was bothered about her all were strangers for her she had only two simple salwar she took one of them and went to the washroom to change..

she changed and came down, she slowly went towards the dining table.. everyone was sitting on the dining table she stood there knotting her dupatta looking down.. meera called her and told to sit beside maan once she sat maan stood up "mujhe iske saath nahi khana hain" and tries to go annie also gets up "kya maa iske saath hum khayenge kapde dekhe hain iske humare naukar isse acche kapde penhante hain" yash glared at her naina stood up and said "maa main us ladki ke saath nahi bait sakti jisne humari khushi cheen li mujhe nahi khana" yash gets up so everyone gets up "yeh is ghar main ho kya raha hain aaj tak kisi ne bhi table se utt kar nahi gaya hain sabko ager apni manmani karni toh karo" and goes off to his room.. seeing all this maan gets angry and slaps geet "dekh liya tumhare ek jhute ilzaam ne mere family ko kya kar diya" everyone leaves except geet and meera.. geet is totally numb and in shock this is the first time someone had hit her.. meera tells nakul to sent food to everyone's room and comes near geet and tells her to have some food... she catches meera's hand and says with hiccups "aunty maine jhut nahi bola tha maan ne sach much meri rape karne ki koshish ki"

but meera denies "nahi geet maan aisa nahi hain main is baat ko kabhi bhi nahi maanongi" and leaves.. geet starts crying very badly she should have been in her aunt's place enjoying her holidays but now the situation is totally different..

geet haves a glass of water and leaves to maan's room she sees his is sitting on the bed and working on his laptop.. she goes and sees that maan has thrown her suitcase on the floor which was on the bed all her clothes are scattered she quietly took her clothes and folded it.. she looked around to keep her clothes and goes near cupboard and open it.. maan looks at her and shouts "kya kar rahi ho" "main... woh... kapde" "pehle dekho ki kya tumhare kapde layak hain uske ander rakhne ke liye" geet has tears in her eyes and she simply keeps her clothes in her suitcase and keeps in the corner of the room.. she goes near the bed and sits on it something pokes her hand and she looks at it her hand hand blood and it was paining.. she immediately gets up and looks at maan.. maan removes the bedsheet she is shocked to see half of the bed is full of thorns.. maan smirked and said "yeh ek trailer thi tumhari aage ki zindagi ka puri film to abhi bhi baki hain.. tum kya soch rahi thi ki mujhe fasa kar is ghar main araam se reh sakhti ho mere hote hue kabhi nahi.. ek takiya aur bedsheet balcony main rakha hain jao waha so jao" geet goes to the balcony it is very cold she takes the mattress and sleeps there crying whole night thinking what will happen to her.. maan also is awake..

Next morning geet wakes up and hears maan calling her, maan is getting ready for the office as he has an early meeting geet goes near him and stands.. "dekho geet main tumhare bhale ke hi keh raha hoon agar tumne apne mom ya dad ho yaha tumhare bare main bataya toh pehle soch lene.. tumhare papa ka apne business hain na, shayad abhi abhi kuch profit hua hain unko aur uske liye abhi bhi tumhari ghar mortgage main hain, tumhari ek galti tumhare mom aur dad ko affect hoga"

geet is shocked as to how maan knows about her father's business and her house..

"nahi me apni ma aur papa ko kuch nahi bataungi i promise please unke business ko kuch mat karo"... maan nods his head "teekh hain par mera nazar humesha tum par hoga ab jaldi fresh hokar niche aao kuch important baat karni hain"... geet nods and leaves to washroom..

In the hall everyone are waiting for maan and geet as he had told there was something important to be talked about...
