Maan was completely devastated with the turn of events. He felt like a criminal and wanted to forget all his sin. He wanted to talk to Geet but didn't have courage to face her. Finally he made up his mind and went to his room, where he saw geet cleaning the room. Maan cleared his throat which made geet turn around. "geet i.. main.. mera matlab main tumse baath karna chahtha hoon", geet saw him and came near him. "aao betho geet" geet just sat down she didn't even look up, she did not want to create an issue or argue with him as she now feared as to what he might do now, so she just kept quite. "geet jo bhi main hosh main nahi tha, maine jaan bhuj ke nahi kiya. I am really sorry geet, pata nahi yah sab kaise ho gaya pehli baar main apna hosh kho chuka tha. Geet tumne mujh par jhuta ilzam lagaya ki main ne tumare saath zabardasti karne ki koshish ki thi, shayad isiliye log kehate hain ki juth bolna nahi chahiye, ab woh lagbag sach hogaya."

Geet just had tears in her eyes but did not speak anything. "jo bhi hua hona nahi chahiye tha ab kuch bhi nahi ho sakta." "haan ab kuch bhi nahi ho sakta hain, hain na maan, lekin mera kya haa maan, humare beech toh huband wife jaise koi relation nahi tha, maine aapko rokne ki bohat koshish ki thi lekin aapne... maine uss din wahi kaha jo mujhe dikha tha maan koi bhi ladki iss bare mein juth nahi bolti hain maan.." saying geet starts to cry very badly.. maan was feeling very bad "geet ab jo hua use badal toh nahi sakte lekin main abhi bhi keh raha hoon uss din main kuch bhi nahi kiya tha geet main waha tha hi nahi.. Khair ab tum jo chaho kar sakti ho jaise chaho reh sakti ho. Ab se yeh tumhara ghar hain, tum jaise apne ghar main rehate the bilkul waise raho. Agar tum koi aur decision lena chahathi ho toh mujhe koi problem nahi hain" Geet just got up and went away. Maan was frustrated that she didn't reply for anything and just went to office. Nobody in the house knew about this and so everyone were very normal.

Maan was being liberal to geet now, he behaved with her a little bit well now. Meera and Yash were happy eith the progress, Naintara and Dev started liking geet, infact naina and geet had become friends.. Daadima was neutral but annie was still not comfortable with her but somewhere in her heart she knew that geet was not bad. A month passed like this, maan was still guilty.

Early morning meera and daadima was in the puja hall getting the things ready for aarti and the whole family was standing there... It was Daadima's rule that everyday no matter what thw whole family must be there was morning puja, when the doorbell rang. Meera was about to get when daadima interrupted "arre rukko meera main nakul ko khehata hoon, tum aarti karo woh dekhega, Nakul... zara dekhiye door par kaun hain.." "ji daadima".. Nakul goes and opens the door, at the stood a tall young man with a smirk "hey nakul mera samaan le aao taxi main hain, aur haan paise de dena" and winks at him.. Nakul goes mumbling "Yeh Rahul sir bhi na pata nahi kyun aate hain humesha problem karte hain aur Maan sir ki paise udate hain, aur Yash sir bhi kuch nahi kehate hain.." Everyone finishes aarti and comes to hall except for geet and naina to see who it was so early in the morning. Rahul sees Savitri Devi and goes to her with smile "Hi naani kaise ho aap" and hugs her.. She smile and hugs him back "kaise hain aap rahul" "teekh hoon naani bohat din hogaya tha aapse milkar isliya aaga.." hearing this annie angryliy murmers to dev "bohat din nahi bhai paise khatam ho gaye honge isliye aaye hain humare paise udane ke liye" Dev shhush her "shh choti agar daadi se sun liya na..." "sirf daadi ke liye hi toh hum isse bardash kar rahe hain".. Rahul comes near Dev and pats his back "hey dev congrats man TV main dekha tum baap banne wale ho, congrats man.. Good job".. Though Dev didn't like the way he spoke he just smiled.. Maan is watching him with a stern face as he hates him, Rahul then comes near annie "hey beautifull, tum last time se bhi bohat beautifull lag rahi ho, kya raaz hain main toh mar gaya iss husna nazaara dekh kar" and tries to hug her.. She backs a little, suddenly maan pulls her to him and side hugs her and stays sternly "Rahul annie se dur raho samjhe tum" and takes her with him.. Rahul just smiles slyly.

At breakfast table everyone comes and sits down naina and geet are in the kitchen preparing the breakfast.. Naina brings the food to the dining table.. Rahul says hi to which naina gives an uncomfortable smile.. Meera sees her working and sweetly chides her "arre naina aap kyun kaam kar rahi ho koi aur kar deta na waise iss time main zyaada kaam karna teekh nahi hain beta.." "nahi maa main kahan kaam kar rahi hoon waise saara breakfast geet ne banaya hain main toh sirff help kar rahi thi.." Geet brings the juice, coffee and tea to the table rahul sees her and gets shocked and thinks "what is she doing here.." Rahul asks daadima "naani yeh naya sadasya kaun hain??? pehle nahi dekha nayi servant hain kya..." Maan unknowingly gets angry and angryly replies "Rahul, geet meri biwi hain.. wife samaj gaya.." Rahul is shocked beyond his wits and seeing geet he sweats a little... Geet goes near him and serves juice while giving the glass rahul holds her hand, geet immediately pulls her hand and feels uncomfortable.. maan notices this and calls geet.. "geet tum yaha aao aur betho breakfast karo agar kisi ko kuch chahiye toh nakul hain!!!" and shows the seat next to him .. Everyone at the table is shocked mostly geet because its first time that maan is calling her in front of everyone and first time she will be eating with the family.. She looks at meera for a second, meera smiles and gestures her to sit.. Everyone finishes their breakfast, while leaving the table naina signals geet to come to her room to which geet nods and leaves..

Geet knocks and goes inside naina's room.. She finds her folding clothes so she goes and starts helping her... Naina looks at geet "geet mujhe tumse kuch kehana hain.." "haan kahiye na bhabhi, kya baath hain kuch kaam hain kya???" "uffo geet tum humesha kaam ke baare main hi sochthi rehathi ho kabhi apne baare main bhi soch liya karo.." geet just smiles, annie comes running to naina's room... "bhabhi yeh rahul pata nahi kyun aya hain, subha toh maan bhai the woh chup tha par ab jab woh office gaye hain yeh rahul irritate kar raha hain please mujhe appke kamre main rehene dijiye mujhe jab tak bhai nahi aate.." naina shakes her head "yeh baat toh sach hain annie woh bohat hi irritating hain.. arre haan geet isse pehle main bhul jaaon tum rahul se dur rehana.. woh accha insaan nahi hain maine dekha table par usne kya kiya..." geet looks here and there.. annie questions "kya??? usne aap ko bhi pareshaan kiya..." "haan annie issliye toh maan veerji geet ko apne paas bula li..." geet gets confused as to why everyone hates rahul from morning she had been observing no one had spoken good about him.. "bhabhi main ek baat puchcho agar aap bura nahi maanenge toh.." "haan geet puchcho..." "bhabhi yeh rahul kaun hain aur sab usse like kyun nahi karte???" Naina sighs and starts telling her "geet rahul daadima ki beti ka beta hain.. buaji aur unke pati ki moth ek car accident main hui thi.. tabse daadima ko rahul bohat pasand hain kyunki woh rahul main apni beti ko dhundti hain.. par rahul accha ladka nahi hain geet woh humesha KM tab aata hain jab usse paise ki jarurat hoti hain, aur woh humesha kisi bhi ladki ko detha hain toh flirting shuru kar deta hain.. kisi kho bhi woh pasand nahi hain, hum sirf daadima ke liye usse jhelte hain.." annie agrees and tells geet "haan aur pata nahi woh humesha mere picche pada rehatha hain, aur woh sirf maan bhai se darta hain.. issiliye jab bhi rahul KM aata hain rehane ke liye main maan bhai ke room main shift ho jaati hoon..." annie stammers a little and asks geet "kya.. kya.. mera matlab hain ki.." geet understands her and smiles "annie tum humare kamre main shift ho sakthi ho, mujhe koi problem nahi hain.."annie gets happy and suddenly hugs her but then realizes and comes back.. geet feels happy "bhabhi mujhe kuch kaam hain main bas abhi aati hoon.."

After geet leaves naina pats annie's head "annie geet acchi ladki hain, almost tumari age ki hain bichari enjoy karne ki time main yaha ghar ki kaam karti hain.. usse ek mauka do aur apna lo.. kuch cheeze hui hain par hm usse ab badal toh nahi sakte hain na.. kam se kam agar hum uske saath acche se rahenge toh woh ussi main khush ho jayengi.. soch lo iske baare main.." and goes to keep the clothes in the cupboard.. annie smiles "haan waise buri nahi hain.. bhabhi na sahi friend toh ban jayegi woh meri.." both of them smile and hug each other...

It was evening when Meera took their tea to her room when she saw yash talking very seriously with someone on the phone... "Yash kya kar rahe ho phone pe kisse baath kar rahe the??" "Meera detectives' ka phone tha keh rahe the ki bas do din main pata chal jajega ki kaun geet ke saath aisa kiya tha" "chalo accha hai kam se kam geet ki galat faime to chala jayega..." "haan yeh baath to sach hai lekin mujhe iss baath ka dar hain ki sach janne ke baad geet aur maan ka kya reaction hoga" "haan yash yeh baath toh teekh kaha aapne mujhe geet se jydaa maan ki chinta ho rahi hain kahi usne geet ko chodne ki socha toh phir kya hoga ek baar pehale hi sameera ke wajah se uska dil toota tha??" "haan meera ek taraf accha hain geet ko waise bhi yeh shaadi manzoor nahi thi lekin mujhe lagta hai ki maan ko geet pasand aane lagi hain warne itne jald who nahi badalta.."

"annie tum yaha kya kar rahi ho???" "bhai aap jante ho na ki yaha Rahul aya hai toh bas humesha ki tarah jab tak who yaha rahega main yahi rahoongi..." maan smiles and leaves to get freshen up.. annie stops and asks "kya hua bhai kya main yaha nahi reh sakti app bas ja rahe ho.." maan pats her head " bacha kya maine kuch kaha nahi na agar geet ko koi problem nahi hain toh mujhe kya problem ho sakti hain.." annie is shocked at the reply and starts teasing him "hmmm bhai se permission maang rahe ho, arrey wah bhai app kitna badal chuke ho..." maan feels embarrassed and geet's cheek becomes red at her comment...

Geet was in the kitchen preparing for dinner when daadi called everyone in the hall for some serious discussion. Geet started setting the table, Meera signalled her to keep the dishes on the table and sit beside her.. Everyone were silent so yash started to ask "maa aapne hum sabko ek saath kyun bulaya koi serious baath hai kya.???" "haan yash main soch rahi thi ki ab maan aur dev ki shaadi ho chuki hain toh kyun na hum annie ki shaadi kar de" "maa lekin annie toh abhi pad rahi hai itni jaldbaazi kyun.." "yash shaadi toh karni hain na padayi toh shaadi ke baad bhi ho sakti hain.." yash thought for a while and thought it was true.. "teekh hain maa main ladka dekhna shuru karoonga..." "arrey jab ladka samne hai toh dhoondne ki kya zaroorat hain.." "kaun maa??" "yash main Rahul ki baath kar rahi hoon dhikne main accha hai, padayi hui hai Khurana Contructions main kaam ho jayega toh problem bhi nahi hogi.." Rahul was on cloud nine "naani ne toh itni acchi baath kahi, agar annie se mera shaadi ho gaya toh mera life set ho jayega".. Everyone in the hall was shocked.. yash immediately retorted "nahi maa annie ki shaadi Rahul se kabhi nahi.." daadi was angered at this "yash aisa kyun keh rahe ho kya kami hai mere Rahul main laakon main ek hain, meri decision final hain yeh mat bholo ki main iss ghar ki badi hoon." saying that daadi took Rahul with him and walked away...

Annie started crying very badly hugging yash "papa mujhe Rahul se shaadi nahi karni.. please papa.." maan immediately came near her and patted her head "gabarao mat annie tumare dono bhai abhi zinda hai aisa kabhi nahi hoga, chalo ab rona nahi..." maan took annie to his room "geet sabka khana unke unke room main bhej do.." geet nooded and went to kitchen...

Geet sent the food to everyone's room and took three plates to her room.. when she entered she saw annie was hugging maan and still sobbing.. geet went and gave the plate to maan and annie.. "nahi bhabi mujhe nahi khana, bhook nahi hain.." maan was very upset.. geet was feeling bad because she was able to understand that it was not easy to marry the person whom she did not like.. geet took annie's plate and came to her.. "annie main samaj sakti hoon ki tum par kya beeth rahi hogi, par chinta karne ki koi baath nahi tumare bhai hai na.. ab rona band karo aur khana khao.." annie was feeling better at the same time maan was feeling guilty hearing maan.. "annie main tumhe khana khilao??" "haan bhabi.." geet fed annie and had her dinner later she went with all the plates to put them for washing...

Geet came from washroom and saw annie preparing her bed on the floor.. "arrey annie yeh tum kya kar rahi ho??" "apne ne liye bistar bana rahi thi bhabi, ab kya hain na bhai ki shaadi se pehle main bed par so rahi thi ab aap ayi hain toh main yaha par so jaoongi kyun kya hua.." "nahi mera matlab hain ki tum bed par so jao main yaha zameen par so jaoongi.." annie came up to her "nahi bhabi aap itna formal kyun ho rahe ho aap so jao.." saying this she went to her bed.. geet tried to stop her went she felt hot breath near her neck.. she turned to see when maan whispered "geet bed par so jao warna annie ko bura lagega kyunki shayad who tumhe pasand karne lagi hain... "

Geet went and slept beside maan leaving a large gap between them.. It was raining, thundering very badly and at the same time power also went off.. geet was now very scared and started shivering because from when she was a child she was scared of thunder and dark.. maan felt her shivering and kept his hand on her sholder.. geet was about to shout when maan closed her mouth and came on top her.. "geet main hoon maan chillao mat warna annie utt jayegi.." geet relaxed when she came to know it was maan.. "kya hua geet tum shiver kyun kar rahi ho.." "nahi woh.. who mujhe andere se bohot darr lagtha hain..." maan felt bad for her and hugged her tightly "mat ghabrao geet main hoon na.." geet was uncomfortable at first but afer a while she relaxed and dosed off... This incident somewhere brought maan and geet a bit closer..
