This is actually a brilliant move especially if they are targeting US/Canada audiences which they normally have holidays around this time. We get at least one week off for Independence Celebrations in US/Vacations and things of that sort so it's a brilliant and brilliant move by Rajkumar.

Which reminds me...even for Tamasha there was a similar brilliant move of targeting US/Canada audiences during Thanksgiving.

Why almost every damn movie of Ranbir goes through this ordeal every single time?

Now one can understand why Rishi might feel aghast at these unreasonable, unprofessional ethics though his expressing ways are questionable. Real cause of concern would be the mounting costs.
