Vikas - The Mastermind for a reason !!

There is one of my all time favourite dialog from a movie Race where in the climax Saif explains to Akshay - Tum kabhi jeet nahin paye ... kyunki tum hamesha mujhe harane ki soochte the ... aur main kabhi hara nahin ... kyunki main hamesha jeetne ki sochta tha..

Just to sum up the last few tasks of BB11 starting from the Captaincy Choosing Task during Hiten's elimination week (Friday's episode). Not even 1 task has become successful, be it choosing captain or LB or the ranking task, and I read even the Prize Money task for the second time is going to be failed. Well good luck if that's not the case though 👏 And from where I can see, the credit goes to the HMs and their increasing insecurity of Vikas's mastermind tag and urge to defeat him in every task. They are solely focussing on how to eliminate Vikas from the game first, they are going around circles making deals amongst themselves to oust Vikas from the game.

This is how and why Vikas stands out as a player. His Plan A always revolves around putting his preferred contestant in winner's position, and eliminating a contestant whom he doesn't like/feels not deserving comes as a STEP of that Plan A. Hence, Vikas is BOUND to keep his words to others because what he wants is mostly achieved in the LAST stage of his plan and he has no chance to flip.

But for HMs, Plan A seems to be 'Eliminate Vikas', and then to decide whoever wins. But in the process, HMs are coming across as double dholkis who cannot keep their words to each other afterwards, because who cares about who wins when their ULTIMATE Goal is achieved !! Their obligations to keep words and play honest with each other are over because their common interest has been executed in Step 1 or early in the game itself by eliminating Vikas.

To be a mastermind is not difficult, but what sets the difference is just a 9 letter word - INTENTION. There are other HMs who are extremely good in planning-plotting (Pun-Luv today or in Dino Task), wants to win anyhow (Acash), plays with 100% effort and with honesty (Hina). But unless they successfully blend their gameplans with a positive intention, they can keep trying, but a Mastermind is one who takes the whole team forward like a Boss and plays with honest promise and noble intention and in the process even if he loses, one cannot help but admire his game and the trust he wins in others. Today Hina must be regretting for not teaming up with Vikas, Pun-Luv were already discussing on how untrustworthy Shilpa behaved, and no one trusts Pun-Acash (and Luv joined them recently) during tasks anymore because of their flipping nature. 😉.

Aise jeet ka kya faida jisme izzat na ho. Aur aisi haar toh sabko mubaarak jisme enemy bhi taareef kar jaaye. 😉

Extremely beautiful post
Vikas ka motive sirf task ko pura karna hai and get the desired results but Bakiyo ka Bas Vikas Gupta ko kaise haraye
If they would see beyond their hatred they can win
Vikas in tasks sees beyond his personal hate and only focuses on winning
Therefore haar ke Vikas hi jeet jaata hai
And Jeet ke bhi Baki sab gharwale haare hue lagte hai

Yes, the thing that makes someone mastermind is not just using mind but also using it while keeping your morals intact otherwise you will be a dirty player.. if you make a strategic alliance for a task then keep your words till the end of that task unless the other person betrays you first..

After coming out of the show, Hina will realize her mistake that she made today. Shilpa won't even care to make deal with anyone since she's already in finale in her mind 😛. And that's what exactly happened.

😉 Vikas, even if loses next 10 tasks, will always be known to be the best gamer BB ever had.

Yes, and everytime others have come out looking bad and untrustworthy be it Dino task Luv-Pun or Param task Hina-Luv (though it was Luv who gave his word to Vikas that time).

Vikas charms me SO much as a brilliant gamer that I would love to even lose in front of him 😳

What a beautiful post.
That quote defines the whole game in one sentence. Its never been about making anyone else loose for Vikas, its always been about winning.
Brilliantly summed up. For Vikas it has always been how to play with his team, for himself and his friends, be it anything. The one reason he is so sorted with his priorities and promises. He doesn't go a thousand places making a thousand claims, he makes one and he sticks to it, tires his best to take the game in that direction. It has never been about defeating someone else, its always how to win for his own self and make his friends win.
This is where the HM's lack, the firs thing in the task they can think about is how to take down Vikas before anything else.. Ithat is one place they can be united, once that is done, their purpose of the game is lost and then its back to backstabbing one another.
That is not what a master mind is, a mastermind can be positive and even negative. Vikas has always been the positive side of it, the others are coming across as the negative side of it, they are so burnt up in their insecurities that they don't realize how-dirty its going.

The word mastermind is just eating up theur brains and they will do anything to take down Vikas, just to prove it to themselves of how they are taking down the mastermind, when in all this yet again, Vikas comes off as the sane person.
He is a mastermind, but he is a dignified one and moreover a loyal one. That does it all! ⭐️

Very well written!!
He always always focuses on how to win, not how to make the other lose. He was successful not only because he had a good plan but he had trustworthy people who helped him execute that plan and he made sure to return that favor later. Today, he had a good plan but not a trustworthy member to help otherwise they both could have benefited.

I have noticed that once he tells someone he will help them, he tries to put that person's win above his own even instead of backstabbing. This is the reason why so many (including PunPa) played in Vikas' chhatra chhaya for so long because they wanted to benefit from him but now that it is their turn to reciprocate Vikas has been dropped like a hot potato. But better play alone while keeping your word than backstabbing someone to move up (no pun intended).

Indeed. And very apt quote, that - Vikas plays to win the tasks, and if he teams up with someone he keeps his word. The others play to make Vikas lose - they were successful today, as is inevitable in a task which is dependent on team play and support - they withhold that from him, or turn on him, and voila. Iss mein teer kya maar liya? 😆

Vikas raised the stakes this season, with focus on intelligent game play - tasks and otherwise. Even in the game, no derogatory personal below the belt shit for him - he keeps it to the game. His focus is on the tasks and the game, whether he has support or not, whether he's ill or well, and even after he's out of a particular task. That in itself makes him deserving of the win IMO - he won't, of course, because the majority prefer kabhi abla kabhi bully types who play dirty and then conveniently don't understand/can't play the game.

Be that as it may, however, the guy has left his mark this season - a comeback of the brains, which made this season enjoyable for me despite the unprecedented levels of nastiness that have been served as 'entertainment'.
