Advay sat on the sofa in the lounge and flicked through the newspaper while he sipped on his coffee. He had done what he had to. Now the ball was in Indrani's court. He smirked to himself as he glanced at his watch. It was almost ten. It had been an interesting morning. He watched Chandini under his narrow gaze as she made her way towards her father's room, totally ignoring him. His ring glittered on her finger. She had removed the bandage on her hand, it looked flushed. He had acted fast, thankfully it wasn't as bad as he had feared. He had pressurised her enough and hurt her enough. Now it was time to change tactics.

He admired her slender neck as she flicked her hair behind her back. The thought of her wearing his Sindoor and his collar sent a shiver down his spine. His Chandini... was at last going to be his collared slave. His wife and his slave. He was going to fulfil his ultimate kink. Just the thought of having her kneel at his feet with her head held low sent blood gushing to his groin.

"Behave,' He groaned at his trousers, he was going to have to stay in control till they were married. She was in for the shock of her life. But he was going to break her into the strange ways of his world slowly. He couldn't wait to see how she would react to being called his slave... his own personal s**t. Little did she know that the word s**t was an endearment in his world. Women would kill to play Advay Singh Raizada's personal s**t, but that place was forever reserved for Chandini. He smiled to himself.

"Advay,' Advay snapped out of his fantasy at Indrani's roar, "How dare you?'

He smirked to himself totally ignoring her. So, the shit had finally hit the fan.

"Advay...I am talking to you,' She continued hissing like a snake, "answer me.'

"What's the matter Mrs Vashisht?' Advay said coolly, "Calm down or you going to have a heart attack.'

"Have you bought the Haveli?'

Advay chuckled softly as he continued flicking through the newspaper. She had reacted exactly like he had hoped she would.

"How dare you?'

"Because I can dare.' He finally lifted his gaze to her furious eyes.

"You cannot buy the Haveli,' She warned, "No one can buy the Haveli or the properties that belong to the temple. There is a stay on everything.'

"Everything but the Haveli.' He smirked, "You mortgaged it before the stay was imposed.'

"But you cannot own anything, not unless the previous Mahant's son is proven dead.'

"Which I am sure he is,' Advay sighed, "I have paid off the debts outstanding on this Haveli and have had the papers transferred to me... This Haveli belongs to me now... you need to start packing your bags Mrs Vashisht.'

"What?' She snapped, "We are the Mahants, no one can force us to leave the Haveli.'

"I can,' He smirked at her, "Do you want to speak to ACP Siddharth to see if whether I can or not?' Advay chuckled softly, "Or better speak to your advocate, I am sure he will advise you on your rights now.'

Indrani began to flap. This was a move she had not expected. He had his eye on the temple treasure, she had suspected that, but he would also eye the Haveli had missed her hawk like eyes. She should have known the day he offered forty lacs for a three month stay at the Haveli.

"I have a love for old heritage buildings, Mrs Vashisht,' He smirked, "You should have known that.'

"So,' He continued, "How soon can you vacate? I intend to refurbish this place and turn it into a resort... I have plans for this Haveli.'

"You cannot do any such thing,' She snapped, "Not until the Mahant's are alive. This is our official residence. You cannot oust us from our home.'

"Are you challenging me?' He glowered at her.

Indrani sighed, she had to act quickly, had to come up with a solution. He had taken her by surprise, she hadn't expected this move. Even if she took him court, he could have her ousted in less than twenty-four hours, and the case could go on forever. She didn't have the resources to fight a long nasty law suit with a wealthy man like Advay. Maybe if she lured him in her trap, she frowned to herself.

"Could we strike a deal?'

"Deal?' He raised his brow, "What kind of a deal?'

"You could have Shikha in return for the Haveli,' Advay chuckled softly, the pimp that she was, "she is eighteen...'

"And a virgin...yeah I know...you have already told me that.'

"So,' She let out a sigh, certain he won't refuse, "What do you say? Shikha in return for the Haveli.'

"Shikha,' He frowned, "She is a child... what the f**k am I meant to do with a child... sing her a lullaby... I am hot blooded man Mrs Vashisht, I need a full-grown woman who can handle the demands of a man like me.'

"Meghana in that case.' Indrani furrowed her brows, which man would refuse a beautiful eighteen-year-old. What was the matter with him?

"Meghana is not my type.'

"Come on Advay,' She sounded pathetic, "There must be something we could agree upon... please help me here... Make an offer...any offer... I am willing to consider.'

Advay smirked at her. She was at his mercy yet again, and he was going to take pity and help her out of her misery.

"Chandini.' He smirked.

"What?' Indrani gasped in horror, so her suspicions were true, "Chandini...but she is engaged to be married to PP.'

"Are you sure?' He tilted his head to one side, "As far as I remember, PP and Chandini didn't get engaged last night.'

"They had their Roka,' Indrani smirked, "we would call that engagement.'

"Roka,' He chuckled softly, "as far as remember, I was the one placing my dupatta on Chandini. Her Roka happened with me... she is OFFICIALLY engaged to me.'

"That ring... last night.' Indrani frowned, so her suspicious were true.

"Is mine,' He smirked at her wickedly, "She is my fianc...I don't f**king need your permission or your deal to marry her.'

Indrani glared at him.

"But since you are her mother...sorry her STEP MOTHER, Mrs Vashi... I mean Sasumaa,' He continued smirking at a shocked Indrani, "I might let you stay in my Haveli, if my wife requests me sweetly.'

"Advay what is all this?' Indrani glared at him. he? She had to play this carefully. Advay glared back at her. What was she playing at? Kajal had already warned him that she had suspected the ring belonged to him.

"I am engaged to Chandini and she wants to marry me too,' He continued glaring. "it's time you bless us so we can have a happy married life.'

"You got engaged to Chandini,' Indrani sounded tearful and shocked. "Without my permission... I had expected better from you. I thought you were a gentleman.'

"I am a gentleman, hence why I am offering marriage to your daughter... not striking a deal like yourself.'

Indrani glared at him, how dare he?

"Chandini won't marry you unless I permit her to.'

"Chandini will marry me, she wants to marry me... In fact, there was a pandit waiting for us at the temple yesterday... but she wanted you to bless us, was unsure of breaking this news to you herself,' Advay smirked, "Therefore, either you give me Chandini nicely or you can get out of my house... the choice is yours.'

"Advay you are not playing fair.'

"Playing,' He raised his brow, "I am not playing...Mrs Vashisht. I am serious here. I want to marry Chandini, and will allow all of you live here. I have no qualms with you living in this house so long that Chandini marries me.'

"I don't believe you,' Indrani growled, "Chandini will never marry anyone without my permission. If she truly wanted to marry you she would have run away with you. But instead she chose to get her hand scalded.' Advay flinched at her words, she had scalded his beautiful girl's hand and he had stood and let her do it, "Chandini,' Indrani continued, "is a sweet child. She will marry PP, because I want her to, PP is a wealthy man, he will challenge you take you to court,' She smirked at him wickedly, who did he think she was, "you can have Shikha or Meghana in return for the Haveli, the offer is still available. But I won't give Chandini.'

"I see,' Advay let out a sigh and pulled his phone out. He played a recording of the previous night, that Sid had recorded. Indrani gasped, as soon as PP spoke of paying 2 crores for Chandini and suggesting sharing her with Advay. Rage coursed through Advay's veins as he silently played the recording.

"Advay stop this now,' Indrani barked.

"Mrs Vashisht you are in no position to strike a deal with me,' He bit back as he turned off the recording, "you don't want me to play this before Chandini do you?'

Indrani fumed in rage, how she wished she could set fire to Advay. But PP had been a fool to open his mouth before Advay.

"Why haven't you shown this to Chandini,' She snapped.

"Because I don't play dirty like you Mrs Vashisht,' He said, he couldn't hurt Chandini anymore than he already had, he would reveal the truth about Indrani in his own time, but now it was high time he made-up to Chadnini, "I don't want to shatter her heart, don't want to show your true face to her. I want her to have a happy life with me.'

He got up to his feet.

"You have two options Mrs Vashisht,' He glared at her, "Either hand Chandini to me nicely or start packing your bags,' He turned around before walking away, "I will marry Chandini one way or another, because Chandini wants me too, but if you agree to it you could save yourself from ending up homeless.'

"Have a word with her Mrs Vashisht, tell her you bless us and are happy for us to marry each other,' He chuckled as he made his way towards the stairs, "tell her to come see me once you are done talking to her...tell her I'll be waiting in my room.'

Indrani fumed to herself. This had to be the worst deal of her life. It was not a deal, it was a threat. But she was not going to go down easily. She still had a lot of fight within her. So Chandini too wanted to marry him. She has sensed a streak of rebellion with her. When had all this happened? This was why she had voiced against marrying PP. Now everything fell into place. Chandini had fallen for his charms, he was her saviour, not once but three times. And now Advay had bought the Haveli and was blackmailing her with PP's video. Rage surged through her body like wildfire. The Haveli belonged to her, Chandini belonged to her, she couldn't lose her prized possessions to a stranger. She had to play this with a cool head. Advay Singh Raizada didn't know the extent Indrani could stoop to get what she wanted. She smirked to herself. Advay didn't realise that Chandini was a pawn in her hands. It was time to play her turn. Time to show Advay who Indrani Vashisht truly was.

Chandini straightened herself as she knocked softly on Indrani's door. Her mother had wanted to see her in private. Why she frowned to herself? She shuddered as soon as her gaze fell on her glittering ring. It was surely to do with the ring, she was certain of that. What was she meant to tell her, how was she going to explain herself to her mother? She sighed as she knocked again.

"Come in.'

"Maa.' She whispered as she stepped into her mother's room.

"Chandini,' Indrani sighed tearfully, "Come beta, sit here,' She patted beside her. Chandini frowned in worry as she sat beside her mother, hiding the ring on her finger under her dupatta. Her mother didn't seem angry with her but seemed truly upset. Why?

"Terrible times have befallen upon us.' Indrani sniffled. "Our ruin is here.'

"What has happened Maa?' She frowned, this was not the conversation she had expected.

"Like you know, we are neck deep in debt,' Indrani continued, "PP is a good man, he offered to help us and has already spoken to the debt collectors about out debts.'

"I know Maa,' She nodded, she had seen him in action when he had saved her sisters from certain ruin. He was a good man. Not a strong man, but a good man.

"The temple didn't open, your Baba is in the state that he is in,' Indrani choked on her tears, "I have Meghu to think about once you are married. There is a proposal for her from a very good family. They are related to PP and the boy lives in New York...They have seen her picture, want to meet her in person.'

"This is excellent news Maa.' Tears welled in Chandini's eyes, Meghu a married woman. This was the best news in a long time.

"But for that to happen we need money Chandini,' She took Chandini's hand in hers. "and money is what we don't have.'

Chandini bowed her head in defeat. The treasure could have relieved their burdens, but the doors hadn't opened.

"What are we going to do now Maa?'

"I don't know Chandini,' Indrani wiped her tears, as her voice cracked in despair, "and like as though that was not enough, now Advay...'

Chandini shot her eyes to her mother. What had Advay done now?

"Advay has bought the Haveli.'

"What?' She watched her mother with widened eyes, he had done what? "But, how can he? The Haveli belongs to Dev.'

"He has used his influence, he had an eye on this Haveli since the day he came to meet me,' She sniffled, "I have been a fool to offer him a place to stay. I should have known the moment he said he was in love with the Haveli. But,' She wiped her tears, "The fool that I am ...I thought he was a good man. I fell for his charms. He has now cheated us and broken my trust.'

"Maa.' Tears pricked Chandini's eyes. Everyone had fallen for his charms. He knew how to trick people into liking him, only to then break their trust.

"He is threatening to kick us all out of the house.'

"What?' She gasped.

"I fell to his feet Chandini,' Indrani sobbed loudly with her head against Chandini's shoulder, "I begged him to let us stay here, asked him to consider our plight, given the state your Baba is in... asked him where were we meant to go. Shikha is still a child and this city ... this city is full of lechers.'

"Maa.'

"What are we going to do now, Chandini...we are doomed.'

"Maa please don't cry.' She wiped Indrani's tears. "We can go to Banaras, I'll take up a job. Don't worry.'

"We can't my child,' Indrani stroked her hair, "we need to think of Meghu's wedding, we have crores of unpaid debt, which if not repaid we will land ourselves in big trouble. Some of them are hard core money launderers, Shikha and Meghu could get into trouble,' Chandini gasped, why hadn't she thought about this, "Besides you will be marrying PP and leaving us in a couple of days. This is a battle that I must fight alone.' She sniffled, "Life has never been fair to me. But, at least,' She sighed loudly, "at least I am glad I could marry you off to a good man. I can now face your mother in the afterlife. As for Meghu and Shikha ... they are going to have to remain unmarried for the rest of their lives.'

"No Maa,' Chandini choked on her tears, "Please don't say that. There must be some way out of all this. I am sure we can think of something.'

"There is no way out,'

"I will speak to him, I will beg him to reconsider.' She said, certain she would find a way out of this, "I am sure he will consider, maybe if we request him nicely, maybe if I fall to his feet.'

"He won't consider, and I won't accept his indecent proposition.'

"What indecent proposal Maa?' A shiver ran down Chandini's spine. He was an indecent man, there was no doubts there, but what had he proposed now.

"Advay,' Indrani shook her head, as though finding it impossible to speak.

"What is it Maa?' Chandini choked, "please tell me.'

"I don't know how to say this,' Indrani sobbed, "it is disgusting ...even to repeat his words is disgusting.'

Rage coursed through Chandini's body, he was a disgusting man, she knew that now. What had he told her mother?

"He wants to make a deal.'

She gasped aloud.

"He is willing to give back the Haveli in exchange for you.'

"What?' She glared at her mother. He was willing to do what?

"He wants you in exchange of the Haveli.'

Chandini scrunched her face. Fire and disgust gushed through her body. So, this was how low he was willing to stoop to have her. Blackmail her family into handing her over to him. But why? She shook her head. She would break but never bend. She was Chandini Yash Narayan Vashisht.

"Let me go have a word with him Maa.' Chandini got up to her feet, she was furious. How dare he?

"Wait Chandini.' Indrani held on to her, "He is not what he seems, he is dangerous. Don't do anything stupid or he could get us ousted out of the Haveli.'

She sat down and frowned at her mother.

"I fell to his feet and begged him to re consider,' She said, Chandini took a deep breath, what was he playing at now, "but his only words were that he is willing to marry you in return for the Haveli.'

"I am certain his motives are sinister,' Indrani continued, "But we are trapped now.

Tears welled Chandini's eyes, why was he hell bent on marrying her, her Maa was right, there had to be a motive behind his obsession with marriage, she could sense it in her bones. This was not love and he had made it clear it wasn't, but why was he pressurising her to marry him?

"He has asked me to start packing, if you don't agree to marry him.' Indrani sighed, "and I made it clear to him that I would rather die than push my daughter into a marriage like this.'

"I will marry him Maa,' Chandini resolved.

"Chandini you don't have to.'

"I will,' She choked on her tears, "I will marry him for the sake of my family.'

"Chandini,' Indrani stroked her hair, as she wiped her own face with the edge of her saree.

"But what about PPji Maa.'

"He was in a meeting when I called, I have left a message for him to call me back,' She said, "I have also spoken to our lawyer to see if there is a way out of this.

Chandini nodded, as she finally wiped her tears. There was no way out of this. Succumbing to him demands was the only way out now. He had long lost his trust, but today with this move, he had also lost the respect she had for him.

"He wants you to go speak to him, he is waiting in his room.'

She nodded getting up to her feet, shuddering to herself, was she truly going to have to marry Advay. She frowned, a part of her was joyous but a part of her was shattered. He had played her and was now blackmailing her to marry him...by holding her family ransom. She was disgusted with him. But Why? She frowned to herself. Why was he insisting on their marriage? What was his true motive? He doesn't love you, a voice reminded her. But how had he managed to buy the Haveli, she wondered, maybe if she told him that everything belonged to Dev, but right now he owned the Haveli, and he could have her family ousted. She was going to have to succumb to his demands. She sighed, she was going to have to marry Advay for her family, for her sisters... for her Maa.

Advay stood before his mirror, as he waited for her. He knew she would come. PP had been useful. He would deal with him another day. He had Indrani by her balls now. He could get her ousted, but he wanted to keep her under the same roof so he could watch her every move. She was a wily wicked vixen, and he couldn't afford to take his eyes off her. But first he had to marry Chandini. She would marry him and enter the Haveli as his bride, like she should have had none of the events of the past occurred. He had ensured that he owned the Haveli, so she could enter it as its mistress ... as the mistress of his heart. He blushed ever so slightly, he was finally marrying his Chandini. He held the toe ring to his lips. This was his Maa's doing. She always dreamt of the day Chandini would enter their house as his bride, and finally that day was here. Maybe he could mellow down on his plans, maybe he could have a life with her. Maybe he could salvage whatever was left of him and make a fresh start at life. Wife by day... slave by night. He smiled to himself. It was time to turn his ultimate fantasy into a reality. His Chandini seducing him as his own personal s**t. He groaned, how much longer would he have to wait for her. He gazed at the banyan tree from his window, maybe they could marry under the banyan tree. It was their tree, he would get Murli to organise the wedding around the tree. He would reveal his true identity on the night of their wedding as he would make love to her. She was in for the shock of her life, to realise her Dev did come back for her, and that they did marry under their Banyan tree.

He smiled, as soon as he heard her anklets, she was here, it was time for a new beginning, for a fresh start at life. He let out a sigh as he turned his head towards the door.

Chandini stood before him with her head low, knotting her dupatta. Advay gazed at the beautiful girl standing before him. He was finally marrying the one true love of his life. For the first time it felt right, to dream towards a happy life together, to grow old together...to die together.

"Maa,' She breathed, "Maa asked me to...'

"Has she spoken to you?'

She nodded.

"How is your hand?' He took a step towards her and took her hand in his. "does it hurt?'

She nodded, as she continued to keep her head down.

"The jeweller will be coming later in the evening to cut the ring,' He kissed her reddened finger, "Just bear with it for a few more hours.'

She continued nodding.

"Look at me.' He whispered. She slowly raised her tear glazed eyes to meet his lusty eyes.

"Chandini, I am sorry about everything,' He said, "about everything I said and everything I did, let's put everything behind us and make a fresh start.'

She frowned as she studied his face. Who was this man? She had seen how dark he could turn the previous day as he had forced the ring on her finger, yet here he stood before her smiling and pretending like all was well. She didn't know what to believe anymore. Who was the real Advay?

"Yesterday.'

"I was angry,' He said softly, he had hoped she was pregnant, she had shattered his hopes, "I was angry about what you did.'

What had changed in one day? She frowned to herself.

"But now, I know what I want.' He smiled. Tears stung her eyes, at sight of the stunning man smiling at her. His smile was her ruin, one that would bring her down to her knees. But this was a game, she reminded herself. He was playing a game. He had threatened her mother and had made an indecent proposal.

"Have you bought the Haveli?' She whispered.

"I have,' He continued smiling warmly as he drew her in his arms, "It's my wedding gift to you. I want you to be the mistress of this house.'

Chandini held his gaze, wanting to believe everything he was telling her. But she knew he was lying. This was a trap, another trap, to trap her forever. What did he truly want from her? What was his true motive?

"Chandini,' Tears pricked her eyes at the endearment in his voice, "I want to have a family.'

She gazed at him in awe, he was a brilliant actor. Was he truly acting or was there a hint of sincerity in his voice?

"Let's have kids, Chandini,' He wrapped her in his arms and rested his cheek on her head, "I want to have a large family... I have been lonely for too long.'

"Do you love kids?' He gazed down at her. Chandini nodded softly as a tear escaped her eye and fell on her cheek. Advay leaned to kiss her tear. He would never let her cry, he would treasure her like a precious possession, he promised himself.

"Let's not wait,' He continued, "I want to get you pregnant as soon as I can.'

She rested her head on his chest, was he serious? Did he truly want a family with her? She sighed, he was lying, he was luring her into his lair. But she was going to have to marry him, for her Maa.

"Tonight, is your Mehendi,' He carried on, "and tomorrow is our wedding. I have a surprise for you.'

She nodded.

"Is there anything you want for our wedding? ...Hmm.'

"Pl... please...do...don't oust my family from this Haveli.' She whispered.

Advay cupped her face in his hand and tilted it towards him. She looked sad. He was certain, she had agreed to marry him for her mother's sake. His trick had worked. But this had to be done, to force her to accept him. She was truly Indrani's puppet, but he was going to soon turn her into his pet and treasure her for the rest of his life.

"I won't...besides like I said it is your Haveli...I have bought it for you.'

He held her face in his hands and kissed her forehead. She had finally agreed to marry him. He was a happy man today.

"You are my bride now,' He smiled warmly at her, "I don't want you stepping into the kitchen, do you understand?' She nodded softly, "I need you to relax... sleep...you are going to need a lot of sleep.' She blushed, "I am not going to let you sleep once we are married.'

He gazed into her glimmering eyes. The fight had ended, she would finally belong to him. He would earn her trust and her loyalty and would fight for justice. Revenge didn't appeal to him anymore, not if he had a wife and a family to care for.

"Would you like a girl or a boy?'

"Boy,' She blushed.

"I love girls.' He pressed his lips against her forehead again, "girls are delicate and soft, and loving. I love the way you care for your Baba. I want a daughter who will love me like that... with utter devotion...a daddy's girl.' A tear escaped his eye, "I want to hold her, kiss her, love her... will never let her cry...will kill every boy within a hundred-metre radius of my girl.'

She giggled tightening her grip around his waist. His voice, his gaze, his smile, his words everything was soothing her raging her heart. Advay was truly the most beautiful mirage she had ever beheld. Now was all she had, and now felt good. A fantasy where he was the perfect man, and they had the perfect marriage. She smiled, there was no harm in dreaming.

"Chandini,' He took her face in his hand again. "May I kiss you?'

Tears streamed down her face at how tender and affectionate he sounded. She lowered her gaze to his perfect mouth, wanting him to devour her forever.

"I haven't kissed you since that night,' He wiped her tears with his thumb, "Please let me kiss you Chandini, I want to taste your mouth again.'

He leaned to kiss her, but she lowered her mouth ever so slightly just before his lips brushed against hers. Advay sighed. Chandini lifted her lips to him again, frowning at herself at why she hadn't let their lips meet.

"It's okay,' He kissed her forehead instead, "I'll wait. I'll wait till we are married.' He traced the line of her lip. He hadn't kissed her since that perfect night. He had waited till now, he could wait another day. A chill ran down his spine, the next time he would kiss her, she would be his wife. He kissed her parting. His Chandini was soon going to be his bride. He wanted to hold her forever, didn't want to let go of her.

His phone rang. He groaned.

Chandini stepped out of his embrace as he picked his phone.

"I need to sort lunch for my Baba,' She whispered. He nodded as he answered the phone, while watching her retreat out of the door. He smiled with content. He was finally marrying his Chandini, he had truly complicated his life for no reason, his happiness knew no bounds today.

Indrani paced up and down her room, while Shakun sat in one corner and frowned to herself. This had been a fool proof plan, how had it gone down the drain. Indrani took a deep breath, struggling to calm the fire gushing through her body. How she wanted to set fire to Advay and destroy him forever. But the situation was volatile at the moment. The doors had not opened, and Advay had ensured the city he would open the door. She knew he would never succeed, no one could, the treasure temple was a labyrinth riddled with mysteries only the previous Mahant had complete access to, the details of which he hadn't fully divulged to Yash. The city would rip Advay to pieces when he would fail and then she would have her revenge. But it was today she had to scrape through. What was she meant to do now? He had bought the Haveli, this was a move she hadn't expected, and worse he had a video of PP spilling all the beans. PP, she fumed to herself. How stupid was he? But how did Advay know the Haveli had been mortgaged before the stay was imposed. She frowned again. Where was he digging all this information from? He was her new creditor now. She sighed, he could oust them from the Haveli if he willed, and now he had demanded for Chandini in exchange. She frowned, No, he had not demanded for Chandini in exchange of anything. He had declared he was marrying Chandini and that she was engaged to him. She collapsed on her chair, he had bought the Haveli and had gotten himself engaged to Chandini, while she had been oblivious to everything. Anger coursed through her veins again, Advay had outwitted her, and no one had ever outwitted Indrani Vashisht. She was on the brink of losing everything. She couldn't let this happen. She was going to have to think of a way out. She had a plan, she had to execute it now with a cool head. She glanced at the clock, what was taking Chandini so long? She frowned.

"Jiji,' Shakun whispered, "What is the matter?'

"Advay ...Singh ...Raizada.' Indrani hissed, "that snake... he has bought the Haveli and has declared he is marrying Chandini.'

"But how can he marry Chandini, Jiji.'

"He has bought the Haveli Shakun,' She snapped, "and Chandini will have to marry him so we don't get ousted from the Haveli.'

"Is there no way out?' Shakun asked, straightening herself in her chair, this was indeed grave news.

"The only option is if Chandini signs the petition challenging the stay and claims her right to the properties of the temple and the Haveli.'

"How is that going to avert the situation?'

"It won't avert the situation, but he cannot oust us from the Haveli,' Indrani snapped at her stupid brainless sister, "also it will lift the stay allowing us to sell a few properties and settle Advay's debt, one of the properties close to the city is worth fifteen crores. I have a party interested in that land. If Chandini signs the petition we can sell that land and clear all out debts.'

"Which she is willing to do, isn't she?'

"No,' Indrani sighed, "She hadn't been willing to do it in the past, hoping that Dev would return, and I wanted to get her to transfer her signatory rights to me so I could sign on her behalf, which I still plan on doing once she is married PP.'

"I see.'

"But Advay,' Indrani growled, "He has turned up out of nowhere and is now threatening to ruin my well-crafted plan.'

"Do you think Dev is still alive?'

"I don't think Shakun,' She shook her head, "and even if he was, I don't think he would have the courage to come back after what I made him live through, I am sure he won't be in a sane state of mind even if he is alive,' She smirked at her sister diabolically, "I ensured he watched his mother burn, I knew he was hiding behind the tree, could have killed him if I wanted. But I wanted him to watch her burn, wanted him to lose his mental sanity...and then wanted to give him a slow torturous death.'

"But why Jiji, why couldn't you have instigated the mob against him?'

"He was not at fault, was he Shakun?' She snapped at her stupid sister, "Dev was the best and he was a sweet boy, no one would have wanted to harm him. He was sixteen but was wiser beyond his age. I could instigate the mob against his parents, but the mob would never want to harm a sweet scholarly sixteen-year-old who was the next Mahant in line... Everybody loved him, it was impossible not to love Dev.'

"True.' Shakun smiled to herself, "he was truly adorable and so well brought him, respected his elders, never raised his voice, never spoke back. He was a good child.'

Indrani sighed, he was a good boy, so much that she had wished night and day for a son like him, for him as her son. But alas he was her son, the son of the woman she hated the most, Janaki's son, and she hated him for that.

"When I let him watch his mother burn to ashes, I knew he would lose his mind,' She smirked diabolically, "and I am sure he did. Ranjit and his men followed him, he had his brother with him, and they saw them jump from the train and drown in the Ganga.' Indrani sighed again, what a waste of precious life, had he been her son he would have been living the royal life, "Ganga maa was flooded at that time, had breached her banks, the water level was dangerously high, no one could have survived. Not even an expert swimmer like Dev, and surely not with a child in his arms.'

"He must be dead then.'

"Hmm,' She chuckled wickedly, "Dead or mad.'

They both chuckled, as they glanced at each other.

"Why did you hate him so much Jiji?'

"I loved him, he was Ramkrishna's son, but I also hated him,' She hissed, "because he was her son...Janaki's son.'

"Jiji you still think about him...about Mahantji.'

"I should have married Mahant Ramkrishna,' Indrani hissed, "His mother had asked for my hand in marriage, I should have been his wife... Dev should have been born to me.'

"True,' Shakun nodded, "but it's not like he ever met you or promised you anything, is it?'

"No... he didn't, but his mother did...to Niru,' She fumed, "but he never wanted to meet me because.'

"He saw Janaki Jiji at a wedding and fell head over heels in love with her.'

Indrani felt waves of fire course though her body, anger, jealousy and a need for revenge ...everything clashed and collided in her veins.

"I wept ...I wept for weeks,' Indrani choked as tears pricked her eyes, "I was robbed of the life I was promised... Janaki...that witch...she robbed me of the life that should have been mine...hence why I had to take back what was rightfully mine.'

She sniffled on her tears, as memories of her past flashed before her eyes. Memories of the dreams of a young seventeen-year-old dashed forever, because the man she had been asked for chose another woman. She had found it impossible to move on from him. Had watched him marry and love his wife. Had watched him rejoice the birth of his sons. Has watched him treasure and cherish his wife. It should have all belonged to her. He had wronged her. His mother had wronged her. She had never wanted to marry again, but when Yash Narayan's wife fell terminally ill, life had presented her with an opportunity to exact her revenge.

"He should have at least met me once,' She sighed again, "I would have ensnared him, would have ensured he chose me.'

Shakun sighed, fully aware that her sister would never compare to Janaki. He would have never chosen her, had he met her. Indrani was not cut out to be a Mahant's wife. She lacked the devotion and the commitment that came with the title.

"This Haveli, this temple and this title was always mine,' Indrani growled in anger, "hence I ensured I took what was mine.'

"Is that why you agreed to marry Yash jijaji,'

"Yes, that was the only way to gain back everything that belonged to me.' She growled in disgust, "had to accept his child... but I ensured that I keep her under my command.'

Indrani smirked to herself, she had planned everything in detail. She hadn't expected Chandini's mother to die, but when she did, it was an opportunity she couldn't miss. She knew she had to eliminate the Mahant and his family, and Chandini's mother's death had been that window of opportunity lady luck has landed in her lap. One she had grabbed with both hands. But it had been quite an arduous task to break Chandini into submission. She was a strong spirited girl, but she had succeeded nevertheless.

"Chandini would have never succumbed to your demands if Dev was still around.' Shakun said.

"That was another reason I had get rid of him,' Indrani snapped, "she had grown wings with him. She would have transformed into a rebel had he still been around. He indulged her all the time, let her do anything she fancied, supported her, protected Chandini. I could never get past him, never punish her or force her into doing my bidding...I had to get rid of him.'

"Good we got rid of him,' Shakun giggled again. "Because once we got rid of him.'

"Poor Chandini,' Indrani laughed a wicked laugh, "she was fully exposed... with no one to protect her ...I have scarred her for life Shakun... I am her destroyer in the disguise of her protector...Rakshak hee bhakshak.'

"Why do you hate her so much Jiji?'

"Because she reminds me of her,' Indrani snapped, "She reminds me of Janaki, she may look like her mother, but she is like Janaki. The perfect Mahantani, the way she speaks, the way she smiles, the way she carries herself, like she has imbibed Janaki into her persona...no wonder Dev worshipped her...couldn't resist her charms even while she was just a child.'

"And now she is a spitting image of Janaki Jiji,' Shakun sighed, "Did you watch her on the day of the Maha aarti? I was stunned at how she performed the aarti to perfection. She would have surely made a wonderful Mahatani.'

"Maybe she imbibed those qualities hoping she would marry a Mahant one day.' Indrani chuckled wickedly, "But now she will marry a man like PP... she has to marry PP,' Indrani sat up straight in her sofa, "but before that she has to sign the temple and the Haveli over to me.'

"Does PP know that you plan on transferring her rights?'

"He doesn't...but by the time he realises it will be too late,' Indrani smirked, she was the queen of her game, "He can do as he pleases with her once I get her to sign the paperwork.'

"What about Advay?'

"Advay,' She sighed again, she had not prepared herself for Advay, and he was proving to be a right pain, "I am going to hoodwink him. I have agreed to his demands, without raising any suspicions. Now I will play my cards and give him the shock of his life.'

"How?'

"Chandini is my pawn Shakun. She will do as I command her... wait and watch Shakun, wait and watch.'

Indrani locked her wicked gaze with a smirking Shakun. They had a plan in place, it was time to execute it and time to take Advay by surprise.

"Bhaiyya,' Murli said as Advay buttoned his shirt before his mirror, "Your coffee...and what is the plan for today.'

"I am marrying her,' Advay smiled broadly, "tonight is the Mehendi... tomorrow is the wedding.'

Murli smiled back, at least he looked happy. There was still hope.

"You look happy Bhaiyya,'

"I am Murli,' He sighed, not sure why he had been fighting and complicating life all this while, "I want to make a fresh start.'

"What has changed in one night Bhaiyya?'

"I have given it a thought Murli, she is in danger,' Advay sighed, "PP intends to ruin her, intends on playing rough with her.'

"What?' Murli glared at him in horror, "I didn't realise he was into all this.'

"He has been doing it by reading about it and by watching me.'

Murli gasped. Watching Advay. When? Where?'

"When? Where?' He gasped, "Does he know who you are?'

"No...No he doesn't. Some slimy friend of his has watched me in Amsterdam as few years ago and together they decided to give it a try.' Advay shook his head in despair, "Sid and I believe his wife died owing to his incorrect techniques.'

"What?' Murli gasped. "Bhaiyya, you can't let Bhabhi marry him.' Tears stung his eyes, "Kuch bhi karo, I will kidnap her, force her, beg her, blackmail her that I will shoot myself in the head, will do anything. But I can't watch her getting hurt ...getting kil...'

"Shut up,' Advay snapped, "Just shut the f**k up,' He glared at Murli, "Don't ever say such things about her. She will have a long beautiful life, and I will keep her happy, will never hurt her, never let her cry.'

Murli nodded, grateful that PP's intentions had changed Advay's mind yet again.

"Thank god you had a change of heart.'

"I did,' He sighed, "She is not going to defy Indrani, she has been manipulated for too long, and I can't let her marry PP, not that I would have anyways. But PP's intention has brought out something protective within me. I have hurt her enough and last night,' He blinked on his tears, "Last night she had to live through unbearable pain because of me... Enough Murli...I can't hurt her anymore, instead I have pressurised Indrani to hand her over to me,' He smirked, "And Indrani has succumbed.'

"Has she?'

"Hmm...I bought the Haveli and threatened to throw her out.'

Murli smiled, his brother was truly a master manipulator. But what about his lifestyle. How was he going to about getting her to consent?

"Are you going to give up your lifestyle?' Murli frowned. Till the previous evening he had sounded murderous and like a true master. How fickle was this man? Just like the wind.

"No Murli,' He chuckled, "that is not going to happen, but I will break Chandini slowly into my ways.'

"Oh.' Murli sighed, why was he not surprised. He too was going to through similar crisis in his own love life. He sighed. But he loved Shilpa, loved her confidence and her brilliant sense of humour. He was willing to try this for her, surely Chandini too would agree to try for Advay.

"I have not mellowed down Murli,' He glared him in the eyes, "Just that my priorities have changed, that's all.' He sighed, sipping on his coffee, "I want to focus on Chandini and on finding Micku right now,' Murli nodded, "the revenge can remain in the back burner... I want justice. But I am willing to fight for it like I should have years ago.'

"Thanks for that Bhaiyya,' Murli hugged him, heaving a sigh of relief. He was talking about justice for the first time in life. Glad his brother had finally snapped out of the self-immolation madness. Or had he? He frowned.

"Does that mean... you don't plan on?'

"No Murli,' He smiled, "I have a wife now...will have children soon. I am responsible for them. I can't put myself before them... Maa will have to wait... I am sure she will understand.'

"She will Bhaiyya... she wants you to have a happy life.'

"Hmm.'

"Bhaiyya, have you heard anything from Sid Bhaiyya,' Murli said, "about Micku Bhaiyya...at least if he could attend your wedding.'

"No Murli,' Advay sighed, "Sid is investigating. We have only been here for about three weeks. Had I known Sid was the ACP here, I would have asked him to start investigating a long while ago.'

"Hmm,' Murli sighed, "Shall I go and enquire in that area?'

"We can do that,' Advay nodded, he had been caught up with the temple work. But once he had organised his team he was planning on starting his quest for Micku, "Let us be done with this wedding, we can start enquiring after that.'

"Aren't you talking Bhabhi on a honeymoon?'

"I am,' He smirked, "She has not yet realised, but the tickets I gave PP are honeymoon tickets for the two of us.'

"Are they?' Murli glared at him in shock.

"They are,' Advay winked, "The front page has PP's name, but the actual tickets are issued to my name.'

"Bhaiyya...you are impossible,' Murli chuckled. "Bhabhi is in for a big surprise... So, you are away for two weeks then, to Switzerland.'

"Hmm.' He winked again, "with my Chandini.'

"Have fun Bhaiyya.'

"Wish me luck...let's pray she is pregnant by the time we return.'

"She will be Bhaiyya,' Murli hugged him again. "She will be...I am sure...and if not then you have the next month, or the month after that... abhi toh you have your entire life ahead of you.'

Advay nodded as he finally heaved a sigh of relief. He truly wanted to start a family, wanted to fill his life with a reason to live.

"Achcha... I am going to the market,' Murli said, "Where is your list, what am I meant to collect?'

"Oh yes,' He said, "I have ordered the lehengas for the three girls, you will have to fetch them. Speak to Shikha and Meghu, ask them what they want to wear tonight ... oh, and please collect my Sherwani and yours too.'

"Okay.'

"Oh and,' Advay grinned from ear to ear, "Go to the jewellers, I have ordered a traditional kundan haar, and matching kangan,' Murli nodded as he noted down everything, "there is one piece called Sita rani, it's a traditional piece, don't forget that,' He raised his brow at Murli, "My Maa had one just like the one I ordered, don't forget to pick it please.'

"Sita rani,' Murli said, "is it a name of the necklace?'

"Hmm,' Advay smiled, "Like my mother's name, Janaki...another name for Sitaji... I want her to have it Murli... a necklace that means the same as my Maa's name...it will be my Maa's blessing to her.'

Murli nodded, Advay truly loved Chandini, who was he kidding?

"My Maa should have been here Murli,' Tears welled his eyes, "My Maa Baba, Micku they should have all been here for Chandini and my wedding.'

"Bhaiyya.'

"She had a desire to see me decked up like a groom, with a sehra, getting up on to a horse.' He choked on his tears, "She would have handled everything, would have ordered and organised everything.' He sighed out loud, "I don't know most of the rituals, am not sure what traditional jewelleries I must gift my bride, I am clueless, weddings are always handled by the women, aren't they Murli?'

"Hmm, Bhaiyya.'

"My Maa would have chosen a beautiful red Banarasi silk saree for herself and a similar one for Chandini,' He sighed, imagining his mother's beautiful smiling face before his eyes, "She would have danced before my horse, would have applied haldi to me... mehendi night would have felt like a grand occasion.'

Tears streamed down his face, everything was lost. His mother would never get to see him dressed like a groom, would never get to participate in his wedding, he would never get to touch his parents' feet before embarking on the most important phase of his life.

"Bhaiyya, they are both watching you from above, they are blessing you.'

He nodded as he wiped his face. His parents were always with him, he carried them in his heart, against his heart, he rubbed his hand against the tattoo on his chest.

"Okay Bhaiyya, I am going to the market now, let me know if you need anything else.'

"Oh Bichua,' He sighed as he snapped out of his trance, how had he forgotten about it, "I have my Maa's bichua... Dammit,' He muttered under his breath, "They are worn in pairs, I completely forgot to order the other one... now you see why I need my Maa,' Now what, he tapped his finger on his cup, the wedding was the following day, "Teek hai, leave it, I'll have to give it to her later, maybe during the post wedding rituals.'

"Teek hai Bhaiyya, anything else.'

"Mangal sutra,' He smacked his head. Murli turned around to leave, "don't forget the Mangal sutra or I will skin you alive.'

"I won't Bhaiyya,' Murli chuckled softly as he dashed out of the door. Did he truly think he was so stupid?

"Murli,' Advay yelled from behind, "Take Shikha and Meghu, ask them to pick whatever they fancy... clothes, shoes, jewellery... anything.'

"Meghu Jiji is not at home,' Murli yelled back, "I'll take Shikka Jiji with me.'

"Good,' He smiled, "Let her decide what he wants for herself and Meghu. Ask her to check to see if I have ordered everything for Chandini, just in case I forgot something.'

"Teek hai.'

"Murli,' He yelled from on top of the stairs, "I am at the treasure temple, some of the priests are protesting against the surveyors. I am not sure how long it will take to resolve the matter. Give me a call if you need anything and let me know once you are back.'

"Bye Bhaiyya.'

"Murli,'

"Now what?'

"Get Shikha to find a Mehendi lady, ask her to be here before seven.' He said, "give her my number, tell her to forward me Mehendi designs, I want to pick one for my Chandini.'

Murli stood and watched Advay, waiting for him to bark some more instructions.

"Get lost now,' Advay snapped, "Why are still standing here? We haven't got all day.'

Murli shook his head and chuckled as he dashed towards Shikha's room.

Advay smiled to himself, he was finally marrying Chandini. He sighed as he wore his shoes and made his way downstairs. His Chandini would live in their Haveli as his wife. He was the owner of the Haveli now, it belonged to the Kashyaps again, like it should have, and now Chandini was entering his house as his bride. His bride, his wife, his slave, a mother to his children, he smiled to himself. Just the thought of having a family had stirred something deep within his soul. He wanted more from life now, wanted to hold his child, wanted to heal, wanted to introduce Chandini to his lifestyle. He was certain she would love it, she had to, she was his soul mate, they were a perfect fit. Their preferences would line up, he had to ensure they did. He would earn her unwavering trust and loyalty. She would eventually defy her mother under his protection. Everything was falling into place. If only his Maa was here to welcome her and bless her. He brushed his hand against his chest again as he made his way towards the treasure temple, his Maa was here.

Indrani checked her phone for the millionth time, what was taking him so long. She let out a long-frustrated sigh. Her phone finally rang.

"Ranjit where the hell have you been...good... where is he now... good keep him engaged. You need to get out of there... Where... good...Okay I will handle everything here...Ranjit,' She sounded stern, "don't mess this, we must get her married to PP and we must get her signatures... Good...Har Har Mahadev.'

"Who was it Jiji?'

"Advay is at the treasure temple,' She smirked, she had managed to distract him, "we have nothing to fear now.'

"Where is Kajal?'

"She is with Shikha,' Indrani continued smirking, Kajal was a weak link, it was best she wasn't a part of her scheme, "She is busy and out of our way.'

Shakun smirked back at her sister. It was time to execute their plan.

Chandini stirred the dal, lost in her own thoughts. Why was Advay playing with her again? Why was he hell bent on marrying her, he had had his ways with her, what was in this marriage for him? Her Maa was right, there was more to this than met the eye. He didn't love her, he had made it clear. But why was he now insistent on starting a family? Maybe he wanted to trap her forever. She sighed, he had already trapped her. Her heart belonged to him, she was done for life. She loved Advay but he didn't love her back. Could people survive a loveless marriage? Tears stung her eyes, she had always wanted a man who would love her like her Baba loved her Maa... had wanted Dev to love her like that. To love her in death. Had fantasied dying in Dev's arms, while he promised undying love to her as she breathed her last in his arms. She chuckled softly, she truly was dramatic sometimes. Her Dev had not bothered coming back for her, let alone love her in death. She didn't deserve love, not everyone gets love in life, she reminded herself. Some people suffer with the ache of the one sided, unrequited love and she was one such sad soul, who would have to live through the grief of marrying a man who didn't love her back. PP too didn't love her, she reminded herself. But at least there was hope there. But with Advay, she knew he would never love her, he would never have said all the hurtful things he had, had he felt anything for her. But she was going to having to marry him now. Lust and anger coursed through her veins, she didn't want to marry him, yet a part of her wanted to belong to him forever. There was something about Advay that made her heart and her body crave for more. She sighed, she was a hopeless romantic.

"Chandini,' She straightened at her mother's urgent voice.

"Haan Maa.'

"Chandini,' Indrani called out again as she rushed into the kitchen, "Quick get changed, this is your lehenga...the one that PP's mother got for you.'

"But Maa,' Chandini frowned in horror both at her mother's words and at the hideous blue velvet lehenga, with a disgusting golden embroidery strewn carelessly all over it. PP's mother's choices were truly questionable, hence why she had chosen a girl like herself for her son. She sighed ruefully.

"Chandini I couldn't watch you sacrifice for our family,' Indrani choked on her tears, "I called PP and asked him for help beta.'

Chandini nodded, trying to come to terms with what was happening.

"PP made a few enquiries, Advay has come here with a plan my child,' Indrani continued, "his intentions are not noble, he is eying the treasure hidden in the temple...wants to steal it under the pretext of working for the government.'

Chandini gasped. Her mother was right, all this was a ploy. He had played her on purpose, so he could get to the treasure through her.

"He knows you are the heir to temple, the treasure and all the properties belong to you... Hence wants to marry you, so he will automatically gain all the wealth as your husband.'

"Maa but...how did he buy the Haveli.'

"Like I said he knows people in top places... that ACP is his best friend.' Indrani whispered, "PP has confirmed, he is bankrupt, he is putting up a faade of a wealthy man, he has come here with a plan.' She raised her brow towards Chandini, "He has hundreds of crores of unpaid debt that he needs to clear. He has run away from England and is hiding here...he desperately needs money and is now eyeing the wealth that belongs to you.'

Tears stung Chandini's eyes, so everything was a game. He had planned on charming her and ruining her even before he had met her. She frowned, he had mentioned researching about her, so this was his research.

"It is not my wealth, it's the temple's wealth,' Chandini sniffled, "everything belongs to Dev.'

"I know my child, but you are the heir, and anyone who marries you will automatically have a share in it,' Indrani smiled weakly, "PP however is a noble man, he has agreed for you to sign the rights to the wealth over to us, so that the wealth remains with the Mahants.'

Chandini nodded, PP was truly a good man. He had never enquired about her abduction and was now willing to hand the wealth back to her family. He was truly willing to marry her for her and not for her wealth.

"Chandini there is something else you need to know about Advay.' Indrani whispered, scanning to see no one was listening. She was going to have to nip this love story in the bud. The stunning ring on Chandini's finger kept reminding her of her daughter's rebellion, it was time for a death blow. PP had finally come handy.

"What is it Maa?' Chandini felt a chill run down her spine.

"Advay is not a good man, he is a dirty, disgusting... perverted man.'

She gasped. What was her mother hinting at?

Indrani took a deep breath as she held her phone in front of Chandini and played a video. Chandini gasped, her entire world had come shattering down. She took the phone in her hand and studied the shirtless man in the video in horror. He had a black leather masquerade over his eyes, and a whip in his hand and was whipping the bottom of a naked girl bound to a X shaped cross before him with vengeance, as she squealed and screamed in pain. The marks on her bottom were horrendous, streaks of red criss-crossed across her smooth bottom and the back of her thy, but he kept unleashing his whip against her like a maniac. She gasped again as he turned around to pick a cane this time. She panted for breath, her head began to spin. It was him, it was her Advay. She would have never believed it, but the tattoo on his chest, the tattoo was unmistakable, tears pricked her eyes at the sight of the C shimmering on his heart. It was her Advay and he was whipping a delicate sobbing girl bound to a cross, like an animal and was now caning her with vengeance. Who was this man? Was he truly a beast or was he a monster or something worse? But her heart shattered to a million pieces, the moment he stepped closer to the girl and unbuttoned his trouser. She handed the phone back to her mother, she couldn't watch it anymore, bile rose in her belly at the sound of the moans of the woman in the video. "Please me and I will show you pleasure like you have never known in life,' She gasped for breath as his words rang in her head like a death knell. Her Advay was pleasuring another woman... this was the ultimate betrayal. How had the girl pleased him, that he was pleasuring her now? Tears poured down her face. Today he had truly broken her heart and her trust. Today she was disgusted of him, disgusted of herself. Today it was truly over, she could never marry him now. Love, her heart sighed in her chest. It was over. Not that there was anything to start with.

"Chandini,' Indrani smirked to herself as stroked her hair. Chandini would never recover this blow, whatever feelings she had for Advay were forever squashed. Now her daughter would do her bidding to the cue, not that she would have defied her anyways, but Indrani never took chances, "we don't have much time. We must act fast. Don't cry my child... he has been fooling us all by pretending to be a good man.'

Chandini nodded as she wiped the tears that poured down her face like acid.

"I am sorry that he turned out like this Chandini, he told me you liked him, did you?' Chandini nodded softly, she never lied. It was the truth, she not just liked him, she loved him, and now her life was truly over.

"I am sorry Chandini,' Indrani smirked to herself as she held Chandini close to her heart. Her daughter was truly gullible. But she had done enough damage. Chandini would never choose Advay or trust him ever again. She was back in the game, not that she had ever lost. Chandini was putty in her hands, she would her bidding now. Advay was out of the game. Everything had finally fallen into place.

"I am glad the truth is out,' Indrani choked on her fake tears, "glad I investigated on this matter, instead of succumbing to his demands...or,' She gaped as she held Chandini closer, "or I would have killed myself had anything happened to you.'

"Don't say that Maa,' Chandini wiped her tears, "Bholenath has always protected us. He will continue to do so in the future too,'

"Get dressed,' Chandini nodded as she took the Lehanga, her Advay had broken her heart today, she wanted to hide under the bed and weep her heart out, but she has to protect her family, "wear this lehenga and escape from the back door. PP will be waiting on the lane next to the Haveli. He will take you to the Ram temple and marry you. Our lawyer will be there along with Ranjit, sign all the paperwork he gives you. Once you sign everything, we can lift the stay and can challenge Advay in the court... he doesn't have the wealth or the time to deal with a law suit. We can pressurize him to hand over the Haveli.'

Chandini nodded.

"Our lawyer has confirmed that no one can buy the Haveli, especially not if you the legal heir will object to it... the court will waive the case in our favour and we can force him to get lost.'

"Go get dressed quickly,' Indrani stroked her hair. "Go get married to PP before it's too late.'

"Par Maa...Baba,' She choked on her tears. Would her family, her Baba not get to see her wedding? What had Advay turned her life into?

"Don't worry my child.' Indrani continued stroking her hair, "this is a wedding for legal purposes. PP will marry you again with all the rituals tomorrow. I won't let you leave this house without a proper bidai.'

Chandini put her arms around her mother and sobbed her heart out. She didn't care about ther wedding. Advay has truly broken her heart today. She wiped her tears and gathered herself. She was going to have to act fast if she wanted to save herself and her family from certain ruin. She took the lehenga and made a run towards her room, thankful that neither Advay nor Murli were at home.

Kajal scanned her phone, struggling to make sense of what was happening, she had to speak to Advay. Where was he? Where was Murli. She hid on the floor beside his bed, to avoid any attention. She had to get to Advay. Her sister had manipulated Chandini again, she knew it. She was thankful she had gone to the kitchen to get herself a cup of tea and had heard Indrani's plan. PP was not a good man, she would never let her child to be traded like an animal. Where was Advay? She frowned. Who was she meant to call now? A thought struck her mind. She quickly picked her phone and dialled a number.

"Shikha,' She whispered taking care no one heard her, "Shikha do you have Murli's or Advay's number? ... Haan...where are you? You are going to your friends' place... what? ...is Murli with you... Oh, thank god,' Kajal heaved a sigh of relief, "Murli kahan ho, come home now... how much longer...it's urgent... Chandini...I can't tell you over the phone... give me Advay's number...Ok...twenty minutes...okay... I am hiding in Advay's room.'

"Bhaiyya...where are you?' Murli panicked as he spoke over the phone. He had rushed home as soon as Kajal had made that urgent call. What had happened?

"Behind the treasure temple,' Advay sighed, the priests were causing unnecessary delay, "kyun kya hua?'

"Advay,' Kajal snatched the phone from Murli's hand and whispered, "Where are you? Big wala bada problem ho gaya hai yahan.'

"What is the matter?'

"Chan...Chandini.' She stuttered, as Murli grabbed the phone from her hands again.

"Bhaiyya... come soon...Bhabhi... just come through the door behind the store room.'

"Chandini,' Advay sprinted towards the Haveli, he couldn't care for anyone, Chandini was his priority now, "What happened to Chandini? Is she okay? What's going on?'

"Chandini,' Kajal hissed on the phone, "She is running away to marry PP... from the peeche wala back door... Jiji has convinced her to run away and marry PP.'

"Bhabhi is escaping from the store room door to marry PP,' Murli hissed on the phone.

"I saw Chandini enter the store room and Jiji lock the door wala darwajja from outside.' Kajal panted for breath. Like as though she was the one escaping the house.

"Are you sure?' Advay was running now. He didn't care for anything. He hadn't planned on leaving the Haveli, but some of the priests had stopped the surveyors from carrying on with their work. He had seen Ranjit slithering away, he should have guessed it was a ploy to distract him and keep him away from the Haveli. Rage flooded through his body. Indrani Vashisht.

"I saw her with my eyes wale aankh and heard them from my ears wale kaan,' Kajal continued gasping for breath, "Come soon, stop her...or this will be end wala anth of this story.'

"Bhaiyya,' Murli said urgently, "PP is meeting her on the next lane, I am going to keep an eye on him, you stop Bhabhi. Kajal Maasi is saying they are planning on marrying at the Ram mandir down the door.'

"Bhaiyya...are you listening.'

Advay had cut the call, he was running at Olympic speed now, like his life depended on it. His life did depend on it, his Chandini was planning on running away from him...planning on marrying PP. He felt his heart stop in his chest. How dare she? She belonged to him. She had to marry him. He would die without her. Tears stung his eyes, so everything she had said this morning a lie. She had pretended to accept his proposal. Had lied again, so she didn't raise suspicions. He should have known, she was never worthy of his love. She had always broken his heart and was doing it again. But this time he was not going to let Indrani win, he would make Chandini his wife, take her by force if he had to. But before that he had to stop her. He jumped over the brick compound wall in one swift movement, his palm sliced against sharp shards of glass embedded on top of the wall to deter intruders...Blood drizzled down his hands, but he didn't seem to care. He had to stop his Chandini.

Chandini pushed the large teak cupboard standing before the ancient door. The door had been a rear entrance in the past which had opened out onto a vegetable garden, where Dev's mother grew her herbs and veggies. But Indrani had decided to keep the door locked for the last sixteen years. Today it was time to open it and escape from the house. The narrow lane next to the door opened out on to a side entrance to the Haveli that no one used. This way she would avoid Murli and Advay. Tears streamed down her eyes, her mother wanted her marry PP, Advay had betrayed her, had broken her trust...she was disgusted with him. Who was this man? Bile rose in her belly, making her want to puke as the scenes of that horrendous video flashed before her eyes. He was a sadist in the garb of a gentleman, and to add insult to injury, he now planned on having the temple treasure to himself. Why else would he buy the Haveli? He wanted to trap them and blackmail her into signing the temple over to him. She had been such a fool to have given herself to a perverted con artist like him. She wiped the tears as she pushed the teak cupboard, and slid past the gap between the cupboard and the door. She stuck the key in the ancient keyhole, and gave it a twist. She took one deep breath and gave it a push, pushing her hair back from her tear drenched face.

"Don't do this,' A voice told her in her head, "you love him... give him a chance to explain.'

She shut the voice, disgusted a part of her was still willing to let him explain, was still wanting to belong to a perverted monster like him. She gave the door another strong push with her shoulder. She was meant to meet up with PP on the street next to the temple, and he would drive her to the Ram temple down the street, where she would marry him and sign all the paperwork over to her mother, so Advay didn't succeed in his plans. She sighed, Advay had proposed her the exact same plan the previous night. He had wanted her to defy her mother... but this time, her mother wanted her to defy Advay. Her loyalty lay with her mother, Advay didn't mean anything to her, not after what he had done to her, not after what she had seen...not that she would have defied her mother anyways. She wiped her tears at the memory of how passionately Advay had kissed her under the banyan tree... at the memory of their perfect night together. At least she had the memories of all those wonderful moments that she would hold on to for the rest of her life. Those moments were enough to help her live the rest of her life with PP. PP was a good man she reminded herself... he didn't bother about her past, had never asked her about her abductor...but neither had Advay. PP didn't want her wealth, but Advay did, she reminded herself. PP was a decent man, but Advay...Advay was a perverted monster. She took another deep breath and finally managed to open a crack in the door, just enough for her to squeeze through. She yelped as she scraped her arm on the rough uneven door frame. But she managed to sneak through the gap in the door. She took a deep breath, she was out finally. She scanned the compound wall, no one was around thankfully. She squinted her eyes in the mid-afternoon sun, assessing how far it was to the side gate. She sighed, it was a long run to the end of the Haveli. She didn't have time, she had to move quickly, she gathered her lehenga in her hands and made a run for her life as tears streamed down her face, this was not how she had planned on marrying...but it had to be done for her Maa.

She turned her head, scanning behind her, ensuring that no one was following her... and ran straight into something hard and powerful. She jerked her head towards what it was she had crashed into ... she staggered back...horrified... Advay stood before her, wearing a murderous glare in his blood shot eyes. Her heart stopped in her chest, shivers spiralled up and down her spine sending sparks of fear and lust rippling all over her trembling frame...What was he doing here? How had he? She gasped at the sight of the blood trickling down his hands. How had he hurt himself? She stepped back as he took a step towards here.

"Where the f**k, do you think you are going?' He scanned her from head to toe dressed in her bridal lehenga, "Dressed like that.'

"n...no...' Chandini shivered, finding it impossible to form any words. Advay was here, she was trapped... there was no escape now.

"Are you planning on running away from me and marrying PP,' He hissed between his gritted teeth, "Seriously Chandini...I am impressed with you... impressed with your courage.'

"I ...Maa.'

"Shut the f**k up,' He towered over her, "I warned you Chandini, I warned you not to f**k with me.' Tears glistened in his eyes, at her betrayal, had he not meant anything to her.

Chandini trembled at the simmering fire in his eyes, she wasn't sure if his eyes glistened with tears of hurt or if it was the fire simmering in them that was making them burn with tears.

"Why?'

"I don't want to marry you,' She snapped, "You cannot force me to marry you.'

"Why not... why don't you want to marry me?'

"You bought the Haveli ... you wanted to blackmail me... you are a disgut ...' She bit back her words choking on her tears, as the moans of the girl in the video rang in her head. She lifted her gaze to his, he had made love to another woman, had pleasured her, she had heard it all, her moans and his groans as they had come apart, she covered her face and sobbed.

"The Haveli is in your f**kING NAME,' He punched the wall next to her, "It was meant to be your wedding gift.'

"I don't want to marry you.' She sobbed, she had enough of his games, she knew the extent of his nasty plans now, he had broken her heart forever, "I want to marry P...Pji.'

"You want to marry PP,' He hissed as he took a step towards her, how dare she say PP's name to his face, "or does your mother want you to marry PP.'

"My Maa does and I will do my Maa's bidding.'

"And I will ensure you don't marry PP,' He hissed at her, "You will marry me. I will have you by force if I have to, you know why?'

"No.'

"Because I own you... you f**king belong to me' she trembled at the cold shiver that rippled through the core of her body at the rawness of his voice and his words. He truly looked dark and dangerous. He was going to hurt her, she knew that for sure. Was he going to whip her too? She held her head high, she didn't fear him.

"N... No... You don't...' She fought her corner. He couldn't force her to marry him.

"Oh yes I do, ' he leaned in to hiss against her mouth, pointing his fingers towards himself, " you belong to me... Mine... Mine to make... Mine to break... Mine dammit mine.'

"I am a person... Not a PROPERTY.' she argued, tears glistening in her eyes. "I cannot be bought or traded... I don't belong to you... Can never belong to you.'

"I see,' He narrowed his eyes, "shall we find out how much your mother is willing to pimp you out for?'

Chandini shot her furious eyes to his. How dare he say such disgusting things about her mother? He was a disgusting pervert, who did sadistic things to helpless women. Was it not enough that he had called her a s**t that he was not dragging her mother into this filth?

"My mother is a wonderful woman, a goddess, a Devi, I worship her, how dare you say such things about her... she will have you thrown in the prison if you were to utter such indecent words to her.'

Advay watched her wryly. She was not his Chandu, who had he been kidding. His Chandu had died the day she betrayed her Dev. The girl in front of him was Indrani's puppet. The girl he loved, his Chandu was forever etched on his heart. He had fallen for a mirage. He took a deep breath and rubbed his hand across the C on his chest. It was time to get back on track. Revenge was the only purpose of his life, and Chandini's ruin was the only way forward. He would have to break her, destroy her, ruin her. He chuckled ruefully as Chandini shivered to herself. It was finally over. He was finally done being in love with her, was done indulging himself in the mirage that she was. Tears pricked his eyes like stinging needles.

"It's over Chandini...We are over,' She widened her gaze in horror at how rough his voice sounded, "You and I...' He choked on his tears, "You and I are over... we are over as you know it.'

She shivered, he sounded vulnerable... what did he mean? She watched him in shock as tears finally streamed down his eyes. He grabbed a fistful of her hair at the base of her head and yanked her face up to his.

"You have f**king ruined...everything.' He roared, "AGAIN !!'

What was he talking about? Chandini searched his eyes for an answer, but all she saw was a deep sense of hurt. Advay was hurt... deeply hurt...but why? She continued to hold his tear stung gaze, unable to find her own voice.

"You have no f**king idea what you have done.' He hissed against her face, locking her fear filled gaze into his fiery eyes. He raked his hands through his hair in despair.

"Why Chandini...Why?' He choked on his tears, "Was I not good enough... did I truly not mean anything to you? ... was that night... between us ... did it truly not mean anything?'

He sighed looking away as he wiped his face. He had made love to her, had poured his heart and soul into her and she had not felt anything. This was the ultimate betrayal. He had been unkind to her but had never intended on betraying her... but she had betrayed him... yet again... yet again Indrani won. But he was going to have to change this, he was not going to let Indrani win... not this time. Rage coursed through his veins again.

"Today Chandini,' He locked his angry gaze with hers, "Today YOU have broken my heart and my trust.'

Chandini shivered. His words rang in her head like a knell. These had been her exact last words to Dev. How? Why was Advay repeating her words? Was this just a coincidence?

"Today,' He placed his hands on either side of her face on the wall behind her, "Today you have lost me... FOREVER.'

Her heart pounded painfully in her chest at the profundity of his words. Had she truly lost him? Had he ever belonged to her?

"Now it is time to meet Advay Singh Raizada,' He finally glared at her as he wiped his face, "Time to meet the monster within me.'

She shivered under his dark piercing glare. She had seen the monster, just a few minutes ago. What did he plan on doing to her?

"You will marry me and you will see how.' He wiped his tears, "You will be my pet and you will see how... you will curse your stars when I finally make you my wife and my pet.'

He grabbed her by arm and dragged her behind him. She shrieked, it was the same arm she had scraped while escaping from the door. Advay stopped. Blood trickled from her arm, though he wasn't sure if it was his blood or hers...he didn't care, as he dugs his fingers deeper into her arms and dragged her behind him. Chandini sprinted behind him on unsteady feet, struggling not to trip on her lehenga.

Advay dragged her towards the main door, and sprinted up the steps. She finally tripped on her skirt and fell.

"Chan...' Advay knelt to his knees but stopped himself. Chandini whimpered in pain. But he took a deep breath and turned around, he wasn't going to let her affect him anymore. He grabbed her by her arm again, not bothering to check her wounded leg.

"Aarrrhhh,' Chandini yelped, as he dragged her up the steps, she had scraped her leg and hurt her knee again. But Advay was not willing to stop for anyone or anything. She hobbled behind him, pain sweeping across her body in waves, tears stinging her eyes, at the pain in her leg and at the pain she felt within the depths of her heart at the coldness in his eyes. Was he serious, was it all over between them, had she lost him forever... not that he had ever belonged to her. But she had hoped.

"Indrani Vashisht,' Advay roared, dragging Chandini to the centre of the lounge. "Indrani Vashisht.'

Indrani walked into the lounge smirking to herself, sure that Chandini had escaped. She gasped in horror to find a blood drenched Chandini trembling next to Advay.

"Advay,' Indrani roared, "What the hell is going on here?'

"You tell me what the f**k is going on here,' Advay hissed, glaring at her with his piercing unnerving eyes.

"Shut up Advay.'

"You shut the f**k up...Indrani Vashisht,' Advay thundered, towering over Indrani. Chandini watched him in awe, no one had ever spoken to her mother in that tone of voice. Indrani took a step back, and lowered her gaze, unable to hold his piercing glare. She was no match to his strength, he looked murderous.

"Advay ...you cannot force Chandini to marry you.' She said gathering herself, she wasn't going to let him intimidate her, no one ever intimidated her.

"Really,' He hissed, fire flowing from his eyes, "but you can force Chandini to marry anyone you like.'

"I am her mother, besides this is Chandini's decision,' She glared at a trembling Chandini. "Chandini... Tell Advay that you want to marry PP?'

Advay continued to glare at Indrani as he held on to a trembling Chandini. Indrani was putting words in Chandini's mouth. But he was not going to let her win. Chandini lowered her head, she was standing between the devil and the deep sea. Who was she meant to choose? She was indebted to her mother, but she had slept with Advay. Marrying Advay would be betraying her mother, but marrying PP would be betraying PP and Advay. But it was clear now that Advay wanted her for the treasure. Tears stung her eyes, he had been with other women, he didn't want her, hence why he didn't love her. He had broken her heart and her trust.

"Chandini tell him.' Indrani said again. She had a plan b up a sleeve, she had nothing to worry.

"To whoever my Maa wants me to marry.'

Advay glowered at Chandini, as she continued to stand with her head held low. Her reply had flared something dark and sinister within him to life. Who did she think she was playing?

"And I want her to marry PP,'

"You can do as you please,' He sighed, letting go of her hand, "But not in my house. I give you five minutes to get out of my house.'

"This is not your house,' Indrani roared, hate seething through her eyes, she was not going to let anyone intimidate her. Men twice her size had always trembled before her, such was her authority. Who did Advay think he was?

Advay took a deep breath and gave her a lazy glance, totally unaffected by the darkness simmering in her eyes. She was no match to him.

He pulled his phone, "Hello ACP Siddharth... who should I call to file a complaint against squatters... Yes, the Vashisht family ... what do I need to do to get them out?'

"Advay, I said enough,' Indrani warned him raising her voice.

He chuckled

"Use that on the police who are going to turn up in twenty minutes.' He said casually as looked down at his phone and started checking it. Chandini glanced at him and then glanced back at her smouldering mother. Advay was asking for trouble... big trouble. He didn't know her mother.

"This house belongs to the Mahant family... always has.' Indrani said as she took a deep breath trying to calm herself down.

"This house belongs to me now,' He continued to look at his phone, as they stood in the centre of the lounge locking horns, "I am the legal owner of this home, and I can have you thrown out of the house at the snap of a finger.'

"That's impossible...no one can buy this house.'

"Well it is possible ...because the Mahants can never mortgage this house... but you did, didn't you?'

Chandini shot her eyes to her mother. What was Advay saying? Had her mother mortgaged the house? Indrani glowered at him, avoiding Chandini's questioning eyes. He seemed to know all the loop holes.

"Now get out of my house.' He said. "Before the police arrive.'

"Have you called the police?' Indrani asked him alarmed. Advay looked up at her, smirking to himself.

"Maybe... are you worried Mrs Vashisht?'

"No police can throw us out. We are the Mahant's,'

"Is that a challenge?' He raised his brow, as Chandini watched the two helplessly, not knowing what to do or how to stop this.

"Chandini,' He paused as he gazed at Chandini, "marry me, Or, ... pack your bags now and GET LOST... or...'

"Or what?' Indrani glowered.

"Or when the police turn up I will have you all thrown out.'

"No.' Chandini shrieked as she joined her hands in prayer, "Please... please don't hurt my family.'

"He is bluffing Chandini.' Indrani hissed. Chandini searched his eyes, he wasn't bluffing, she knew it, he was telling the truth.

Advay dialled a number on his phone again and put it on speaker.

"Sid, mate...it's me again.' He said, "how long till your team arrives?'

"Twenty minutes,' Chandini shivered at Sid's stern voice on the other end, "don't worry we will kick them out. They will have to get out, your lawyer is here sorting all the paperwork with us.'

"Thanks mate...speak to you later.'

Chandini trembled like a leaf, he had called the police. They would have to vacate the house. Where were they meant to go? Her Baba was unwell, her Mamaji hadn't returned, and Shikha... Shikha was just a child. The city was full of lechers who would pick them to pieces.

"M...Maa,' She stammered in fear, "Maa say yes.' She pleaded, "Say yes, I am willing to marry him ...willing to do anything... willing to die... willing to burn to protect my family.'

"What are you playing at Chandini?' She shivered at the taunt in his voice.

"Mahan banne ki koshish kar rahi ho... are you trying to show your mother how great you are...? willing to sacrifice for your family and all...,' Advay chuckled as Chandini stared at him with tear-stricken eyes. "getting married to a man you hate... poor Chandini... such a bichari ... are you trying to gain your mother's sympathy?'

She shivered as she lowered her gaze. She didn't hate him, couldn't hate him even if she tried. She had tried, her heart knew she had... but it was impossible to hate Advay. She loved him, but he had broken her heart. Tears stung her eyes.

"Waisey...,' He stroked his knuckles against her cheek, Chandini squirmed, the one thing that always made her putty in his hands., "are you sure you hate me Chandini, that's not the impression I got from you that night... our prefect night.'

Chandini took a step back as Advay leaned closer to her, while Indrani watched them with horror.

"If I remember well...you were begging me for more,' He whispered in her ears. "How many times did I make you come that night Chandini...do you remember...hmm?'

Indrani glanced in horror between a smirking Advay and a mortified Chandini. What was he talking about?

"You need your mother's permission to marry me,' He chuckled, "You didn't need your mother's permission to come apart eight times in my arms, did you... you s**t?' Chandini shot her eyes to him, "Why don't you tell her the truth, tell her who you have been sleeping with? ... you don't lie do you, Meri Jaan?'

"Chandini what is he talking about?' Indrani hissed.

"You need to back off bro,' PP said as he walked in, "Indrani ji and I have stuck a deal and you are out of the game.'

Indrani took a deep breath as she glanced at Shakun smirking at her from across the lounge. She smiled at her sister, grateful for her quick thinking. Now that PP was here, Advay was going to be outnumbered. PP would make an offer as agreed, they would have the Haveli and would throw Advay out. She smirked, no one could outwit her. She always had a back-up plan up her sleeve.

"Deal?' Advay chuckled, "What deal bro?'

"I will settle the debt for the Haveli,' He said, "You need to start packing your bags and get lost from here.'

"I see,' Advay chuckled as he continued grazing his knuckles against a squirming Chandini's cheek. Little did she know how often he had been doing this to her. Little did she know he had done it every time he had commanded her to come apart in his arms. Little did she know, she was completely under his command now. To the point that he could make her orgasm in full public view if he wished. He smirked at himself, impressed at his innate ability to bring a woman to her knees.

"Advay I am talking to you.' PP snapped, annoyed that Advay was fully focussed on the trembling girl next to him.

"I am listening,' He replied, "You are making an offer.'

"Yes, we are.'

Advay shifted his gaze for the first time from Chandini to the tall dark man standing beside PP.

"And who the f**k are you?'

"He is a business associate.' PP smirked. Chandini trembled at the sight of the other man. She wrapped her hand around Advay's wrist and hid behind him. Advay frowned to himself, did Chandini know the other man?

"What is the offer?' He glared into the other man's eyes, studying him with intent. He was a tall broad man, in his mid-thirties, had an air of authority about him, he looked polished yet brash. He had seen him somewhere. Who was he?

"PP is paying two crores and I am paying three.'

"We are together paying five crores and matching your offer.'

"We have someone who has outbid you Advay,' Indrani hissed, "you are out of the game.'

"Five crores for the Haveli?' Advay asked PP.

"Yes.'

"I thought you made an offer of two crores for Chandini.'

"No ...No,' PP fumbled on his words, as he glanced between a fuming Indrani and a smirking Advay. Chandini lifted her gaze to Advay, what was he talking about?

"Are you sure?' Advay held his phone and played a part of the previous night's conversation that Sid has recorded. Sid was a smart ass. He was glad he had asked him to stay back.

"I have paid two f**king crores for her,' Advay stopped the recording only to replay it again. PP started to flap, this was not happening, he knew he had opened his big mouth the previous night, just hadn't realised he had spilled all the beans.

"This... this ...this is not me.'

"It is a f**king video recording BRO.' Advay hissed back him, "If you don't own up to it I will f**king post it on you tube for the whole wide world to see what Pratham Prajapati has been up to in his life.'

"No... No,' He snapped, "Please don't do that...don't ruin my reputation.'

Chandini studied PP in horror from behind Advay. Had he truly offered money for her? She shot her questioning eyes towards her mother who chose to ignore her gaze. What was going on here? She wasn't sure whom to believe anymore. Who was her well-wisher? Did anyone have her interests at their heart? She shivered, maybe no one wished her well.

"Advay,' Indrani growled, forcing the ball back into his court, "why are you blaming PP, you made an offer for Chandini this morning.'

"Sorry,' He shuttered his eyes, "I made you an offer... or you offered to strike a deal with me.'

"I didn't offer you Chandini.'

"No, you didn't,' He chuckled, "You offered me Shikha.'

Chandini shot her eyes up to him in horror. Had her mother truly offered Shikha?

"You wanted Chandini.'

"Yes, but only after you offered Shikha.'

"You said you liked Shikha.'

"I do like Shikha... But I never said I wanted to f**k her.'

"Advay mind your language,' Indrani snapped.

"You offer your daughters like cattle for trade and I must mind my language,' He chuckled as he circled his arms around a trembling Chandini, it was time she met her mother, "You are such a f**king pimp, aren't you Indrani?'

"Shut up.'

"Enough,' The other man intervened. They were here for a deal. He didn't have time for nonsense. This had to end.

"Okay, agreed,' He said furiously, "PP has offered two crores for Chandini.' He raised a hand even before Indrani protested, the truth was out, there was no point pretending anymore, "I offer five crores for the Haveli...together we outbid you.'

Advay studied the man again, he sounded like a polished arrogant prick. He surely belonged to an affluent family, he could tell from the way he spoke and carried himself, even though he was dressed in a modest white cotton kurta...Who was this man? And why had he turned up with PP?

"Seven crores.' The man said again, and turned his gaze to Indrani, "Seven crores for Chandini and Haveli.'

Chandini clutched on to Advay's arms and trembled, for the first time she feared everyone yet felt the safest only with Advay. She just wanted to hide inside his jacket, but he wasn't wearing any today. She hid behind him. Advay took a deep breath, Chandini's vulnerability, her refuge in him had brought out something protective within him. He put his arms around her and tightened his hold, comforting her against the warmth of his body.

"They have outbid you,' Indrani chuckled in content.

"Outbid me,' Advay chuckled, tightening his hold around Chandini, "Look what your mother has turned you into Chandini... you have bidders now, bidding for your body.'

"Shut up Advay,' Indrani hissed. "It is time for you to get out.'

"Calm down Mrs Vashisht, we are still bidding here' Advay said calmly, as he watched Murli and a trembling Kajal watch the scene from a distance. Where was Sid?

"We have outbid you bro.' PP snapped.

"Ten crores,' He gazed at Chandini as he brushed his knuckles against her cheek, "Ten crores for Chandini... just for Chandini.'

PP gasped while Indrani glared in disbelief. Chandini looked at him horrified, yet squirmed under his touch.

"What the f**k is this?' The other man hissed. "Who pays ten crores for a s**t like her?'

"I do.'

"Advay this is not a joke,' Indrani snapped at him. Advay chose to ignore her while he continued locking his gaze with Chandini.

"Wait...Wait,' PP flapped, "Give me two hours and I will find more investors.'

Advay took a deep breath. Investors, for what? PP was inches away from getting his face punched to a pulp. This had to end.

"Tell me PP,' Advay shifted his gaze to PP, "Why again are you paying two crores for a girl like Chandini?'

"What do you mean?' PP asked.

"You know... a girl like Chandini ... with the kind of a reputation she has.'

"She is a virgin,' PP blurted. Chandini shot her horrified eyes to him. "We had her checked.'

Indrani let out a heavy sigh, PP truly lacked tact. Chandini glanced from PP to her mother in horror. What was he saying? When had that happened?

"She is not a virgin, PP.' Advay chuckled as he kissed Chandini on her temple.

"Of course, she is, I have a doctor's report to prove it.' PP grinned, the other man chuckled at him sleazily.

Chandini watched the two men in horror. What was going on here? Did her mother know all this?

"I have checked her too,' Advay let out a hearty laugh, unnerving the other two men. "though my methods were old fashioned ...tried and tested methods.'

PP watched him with eyes like slits and glanced at a glowering Indrani.

"I know she is not a virgin anymore...because,' Advay hissed between gritted teeth, as he held a trembling Chandini close to his body "I TOOK IT.'

Tears of shame rolled down Chandini cheeks as she bowed her head trying to hide her face. Advay was a relentless monster. He had made a spectacle of such a private moment.

"How dare you ...bas***d? PP hissed, glancing between Indrani and the other man.

"What the f**k is this?' The other man said. "The deal is only if she is a virgin.'

"I thought you were offering five crores for the Haveli,' Advay shot back.

"It's seven crores for Chandini and the Haveli,' The other man shot back at him, "It is a joint investment.' He snapped towards a horrified PP, "I am willing to invest only if Chandini is a virgin not otherwise.'

Chandini tightened her grip around Advay's arm. She was truly scared now.

"I bet he raped her.' PP said with confidence.

"Shut the f**k up before I smash you to a pulp,' Advay hissed, tightening his grip around Chandini waist. He just wanted to hold her in his arms and comfort her, he hadn't expected this to turn into a full-blown auction. But maybe she deserved it, she deserved to know the extent of her Mother's sinister plans.

"Advay stop it,' Indrani snapped at him, "PP is right... I won't leave you if you have raped my daughter.'

Advay kept his hold around Chandini and pulled her closer.

"Tell your mother if I raped you Chandini.'

"Leave her,' Indrani glared. "I said leave her.'

Advay heaved a sigh and let go of Chandini as he took a step back.

"Chandini answer me,' Indrani asked as she took a step towards Chandini, "There is no need to fear anyone... answer me... Did he force himself upon you?'

Chandini trembled at her mother's tone of voice, she took a step back almost hiding herself behind Advay as she wrapped her fingers around his wrists, not realising what she was doing.

"No,' She whispered as Indrani raised her hand. Advay stood before her shielding her from her mother's fury. Indrani glared at Advay. This was not how she had planned. This was a fool proof plan, but he had yet again foiled it.

"Why?' PP asked with a frown, "Why make an offer when you had her for free?'

"Because that's the difference between you and me,' He brushed his thumb against the tear that rolled down Chandini's face, "Besides I am not done with her.'

"Okay listen bro,' PP took a deep breath, forcing a grin on his face again, "Give us two minutes, I am sure we can strike a deal.' PP looked at the other man beside him and gave him a nod.

Advay watched him from under his hooded gaze, clenching his fists in a ball. What the hell had this turned into? Who was this man? What was going on here? He wanted to punch the two men to a pulp but he wanted to know what they had on their mind. Chandini trembled beside him, tears of fear streamed down her face.

"Are you okay?' He whispered, drawing her closer to his body. She was sweating profusely; her body was shaking in fear. She could barely speak or breathe.

"Wh...what's go...going on?' She murmured.

"You are being auctioned.' He replied. "Your mother's auctioning you.'

"Th...tha... ma...man...' She stuttered shaking like a leaf, her ruin was here.

"Do you know him?'

"He ra...ra...p...rape mi...my... fr...frien.'

"What?' He shot his eyes again at the tall man, "Who is he?'

"Yo...youth le...leader...his...fa...father...is...wa...a... mi... ministe.'

Advay watched the two men, while Chandini lifted her gaze hopefully towards her indifferent mother. How could her mother stand and watch her being auctioned like this?

"He...help... me,' She stuttered as she held his furious gaze again.

"Help you,' He chuckled wistfully as he continued watching the two men deliberating over the matter. "You were willing to run away and marry him, weren't you? I can't help you Chandini... I am bidding too... There will be no marriage between us now ... I am going to buy you,' He smirked at her, "Like I said, its over... we are over...you ended it.'

Chandini trembled as she let go of his hand and took a step back. Was he serious? Was it truly over? She held his gaze again hopefully in her tear stung eyes, he was serious, his gaze was no longer like how it had been till that morning. There was no love no adoration...there was nothing, not even lust... it felt like she was leering into oblivion. She had truly lost him... forever. What had she done? Why had she not known about PP's intentions? Why had her mother agreed to her marriage to PP?

"We have discussed between us.' PP grinned sleazily, "further to my request last night... you agree to train us and we could strike a deal.'

"Deal?' Advay glared at him. "I am the highest bidder here, you are in no f**king position to make a deal.'

"Come on bro,' PP put his hand on Advay shoulder, fury flooded through Advay, PP had it coming a long time, "Like I suggested last night, we could share her... I know all about your voyeur kinks... you could watch us while f**k he...'

Advay formed a fist and punched PP hard in his jaw even before his finished his sentence. PP staggered back and fell to the ground.

Indrani shrieked, as Advay formed a fist again and got to the knee.

"Chandini is mine,' He hissed, as he punched PP again in his face, "and I don't f**king share what's mine.'

Chandini watched him awe as he continued badgering PP's bloodied face.

"Stop it,' The other man pounced on him. Chandini shrieked, he was almost the same size as Advay and he was a boxer. Murli gasped as he watched the scene in horror. Where was Sid, he pulled his phone out. Advay pushed the other man to the ground, and punched him hard in his nose, leaving him with a bloodied nose.

"No one f**king talks to my face about touching my girl without my consent,' He hissed as he punched PP again in his face. PP was seeing stars, as his nose began to bleed. Advay punched the other man in his gut as he tried to intervene again.

"Advay stop.' Sid yelled as soon as he entered the Haveli.

Fury had taken over Advay. He had been controlling himself for a long time. But PP had it coming.

"Stop mate,' Sid struggled to break him free from PP, as he fisted his face again and again. The other man scrambled away from the murderous man before him.

"I will f**king show you what fisting is.' Advay fisted PP's face again, "will f**king fist you to a pulp if you speak of touching my beautiful girl again.'

Murli joined Sid, as they together struggled to hold him down. Advay had transformed into a beast. Indrani collapsed to the floor at the sight of blood everywhere, at the sight of the fury in Advay's eyes. He was truly dark, why had she never realised the extent of his darkness?

"Bhabhi, help us,' Murli yelled. "Stop him.'

Chandini shivered, what was she meant to do? He no longer wanted her.

"Stop,' She whispered as she fell to her knees before him, "Stop please.'

"Why?' He snapped at her like as though snapping out of his trance.

"Marry me...please.' She frowned, where had that come from?

"Marry you,' He got up to his feet and grabbed her to her feet by her arms. "I don't want to f**king marry you anymore.'

Tears streamed down Chandini's face.

PP staggered to his feet. Sid raised his brow, was he still alive? He wiped his bloodied nose with the edge of his shirt and straightened his collar.

"Indrani Vashisht.' He roared, "This deal is over... I have spent fifty lakhs on you, I want it back.'

"It'll be paid,' Advay wiped his knuckles on PP's shoulder. PP faltered back on his feet in fear, "Don't ever show your f**king face again or I WILL f**king show you what fisting is in its full glory.'

"I thought you were a good man Advay,' PP glared at him, "had expected better from you.'

"I am not a good man PP,' Advay smirked as he straightened PP's collar, PP flinched in fear, "But I can assure you... I am a better man than you.'

PP glared at Advay and gave a glowering Sid a quick glance before making a dash towards the door.

"ACP, close this matter here,' The other man said. "Elections are due shortly, we don't want any trouble.'

Sid nodded, as the other man gave Advay a long dark glare and strode out of the Haveli.

Indrani straightened herself as she got up to her feet.

"So Indrani Vashisht,' Advay took a deep breath, "Now that your Investors are gone...do you still want to strike a deal with me.'

"This Haveli belongs to the Mahant family.' Indrani gathered herself again, "you cannot oust us from here...there will be riots in the city,' She glared at the ACP as though warning him, "As of Chandini... we are neck deep in debt. PP had offered the money to help us out of the debt, Chandini is aware of it.'

"I am sure she is aware of it,' He glared at Chandini, "hence why, she shouldn't have a problem in offering her services to a man who is willing to pay all of your debts... right?'

"You said you would pay ten crores.'

"Five of which I have paid towards the Haveli,' He smirked, who did she think she was foxing, "Four crore of your debts have already been settled, you can call your creditors and confirm...I need to pay fifty lacks to PP ... that leaves us with fifty lacs which I am spending on refurbishing the entire first floor and adding value to the property.'

"What's in it for me?' Indrani hissed.

"When I finish my work here,' He held Chandini's trembling gaze, "I will be handing the Haveli back to you along with your daughter.'

Chandini gasped as she shot her eyes to him in disbelief. He was going to do what? Tears pricked her eyes, at the lack of remorse in his tone.

"I am paying ten crores for the use of Chandini and this Haveli for the next six months, once the temple doors open I will be gone ...and you can have your daughter and your Haveli back.'

"What kind of a deal is this? How are we meant to face the society?'

"I will marry Chandini tonight.' He said, without taking his eyes off Chandini, "But there will be no marriage between us...she is my PROPERTY for the next six months,' Chandini shot her furious eyes to him, he was hurling her words back at her, "I will divorce her and hand her back to you once I am done with her.' He smirked at Chandini, "But I don't think she will be of any use to you or to anyone once have had my ways with her.'

Murli let a heavy sigh. This was exactly like he had feared. Tears escaped the corners of his eyes. Advay had unleashed his true fury. There was no hope now. Sid put his hand on Murli's shoulder as though comforting him.

"The entire top floor belongs to me... none of you are allowed upstairs,' He continued, "You may live in the Haveli, but I am the owner of this Haveli and your daughter. If you have a problem with that you may get lost...Now.'

Indrani took a deep breath, this had to be the worst day of her life. But at least he had agreed to let them live in the Haveli. She would have to go with the flow for now, till she re-grouped and came up with a plan c.

"While you live here,' Advay added, "Always bear in mind, I am the owner... the unrivalled master of everyone who lives under my roof. Don't try defying me or playing tricks with me or I will ruin you forever.'

Indrani wrapped the edge of her saree around her shoulders and took a deep breath. She was going to have to swallow the situation like a bitter pill. She would have to lay low for now and pretend to go with Advay's demands. She glowered at Chandini, it was her fault. How dare she let him touch her? The deal was in her hand, so long Chandini was a virgin. She had defied her...for Advay. Rage coursed through her veins. She was going to teach her a lesson, but was going to have to wait for her perfect chance.

"Chandini,' Advay held her gaze, "do you agree to my terms. You can say no and walk away, just make sure you start packing your bags right now... But if you say yes... then it is a yes forever.'

Chandini held her head low. He had truly trapped her. If she disagreed her entire family would have to leave the Haveli, she had to think about Shikha, about Meghana...about her Baba. She lifted her gaze to him, was he truly offering ten crores for her. Why? She frowned. She shivered as soon the youth leader's disgusting gaze flashed before her eyes. Advay maybe a monster, but he had never hurt her. He seemed like a better monster than PP.

"Chandini I am asking you a question.' He asked again.

She nodded softly.

Advay smirked. He had finally won, the battle for Chandini was over. Now she belonged to him, and this was the beginning of Indrani's fall.

"Just one question Chandini,' Indrani took a step towards a trembling Chandini. "Why?'

Chandini lifted her gaze to her mother as tears continued pouring down her face. Advay didn't love her and was buying her for six months. He was going to divorce her in six months. He called her his property. Was this a marriage? What was this? She wasn't sure.

"I asked WHY?' Indrani roared. Advay flinched at her tone.

"I ...am ...am so...sorry.' Indrani raised her hand and slapped her hard across her face. Advay leapt in time to hold Chandini as she staggered back on her feet. She trembled in his arms, both at the force of the slap and at the joke that her life had turned into. Sid shook his head, Indrani was asking for trouble. Had she not realised the extent of Advay's fury?

"Mrs Vashisht ... I mean Saasumaa,' He gazed at her under his dark murderous eyes, "So that you know... I am an extremely possessive man.'

Indrani raised her brow not sure of where he was taking the conversation.

"The next time you touch what's mine,' He took a step towards her, towering over her, "My Chandini, I'll rip your f**king hand off your shoulder and hand it back to you. Do I make myself clear?' He hissed, "and don't ever f**kING talk to my girl in that tone of voice... or I will f**king rip your tongue out of your mouth...with my own bare hands.'

Indrani staggered back on unsteady feet. For once she felt intimidated by Advay Singh Raizada.

"Murli,' Advay roared, "Organise the wedding, I am marrying Chandini tonight.'

Chandini stared at him, stunned at how he had spoken to her mother. Had he just fought her mother for her? She frowned as she continued gazing at him in awe. But Advay did not hold her gaze anymore. She looked at Murli, as he eyed her with pity. Sid sighed heavily. Tears welled in her eyes. Was her life truly over, even before it had begun?

"What is going on here?' Chandini whimpered, at the sound of her Mamaji's voice.

"Mamaji,' She hobbled towards him and threw herself in his arms. "Mamaji... Where have you been...I have missed you?'

"Advay,' Niru said, stroking Chandini's hair, "I heard you... What the hell do you think you are doing?'

"I have struck a deal with your sister here,' He glared at Indrani, "I own this Haveli, if you have a problem pay me ten crores and I will walk away...' Niru gasped aloud, "If not then that girl in your arms is my f**king property... I would appreciate if you stop touching what's mine.'

"Chandini,' She shivered at his toneless voice, "I need you to go to your room.'

She lifted her gaze towards her Mamaji and then towards Advay, but he wasn't looking at her anymore. Like she was not a person... but an inanimate object... like he said, his property.

"I SAID GO,' she shook as he roared in fury. She turned around and made her way up towards her room, as Advay watched her under his dark gaze.

"Advay,' Niru tried to approach him calmly. Advay held his hand up to him asking him to stop.

"I am marrying Chandini tonight, it's final... you are all invited.' He glanced at Sid, "so are you mate.'

Sid nodded. "What time?'

"Murli will inform you.'

Sid nodded again, as he shook his hand and patted his back before leaving the Haveli. Niru glanced between his sister and Advay. He had heard his disgusting offer. What had his sister turned their Haveli into? Tears welled his eyes, how was he meant to stop this madness. Maybe he had to have a word with Indrani.

Hello Guys, how are u all
So the next chapters are up and running...Sorry it took a while, these are truly lengthy chapters...and by the time I wrote and read and re-read them my head was spinning

I hope there are no mistakes, grammar and spelling, if any please forgive me. I also hope the logic sounds right...it did to me in my head 😆, but like I said after proof reading it a few times, my brains have gone to mush.

A lot has happened, and yet again it feels more like a script than a story... so some scenes are short but they play in brief so the story flows without sounding jarred.

I truly yet again loved this part, for various reasons, the obvious being Advay's fickleness, his gut wrenching need to have a normal life with her...and i loved Indrani and her manipulations as always. I also loved Advay's brashness and his ruthlessness...UFF this man is going to be the death of all of us. He is just shameless and fearless at the same time. What a deadly combination I tell you.

Chandini bichari is now at cross roads truly in life. You will see how and these chapters will form a foundation for what is come in the future.
Hope u liked how i treated PP 😆😆, and hope u like how the story has progressed.
If anything feels strange or out of order, trust me like i said this is a foundation for the future, so everything he is saying and doing will somehow play out in the future. I have written the chapters, especially the last one with a lot of thought to it, and it will all make sense in the grander scheme of things.

Oh and Mehvish...the knuckle thing ...I hope it finally makes sense, I remember you were upset when he had done it on the first kiss part...but in BDSM as a part of mind games, a touch or a command is used to force a person to climax...it's psychological and it is only done for pleasure purposes and forms a part of orgasm denial kink. I have read a lot about it, and have also watched a couple in M/s dynamic on you tube, where the man has conditioned her such that every time he rubs her pinky she will have her O ... its a typical mind conditioning exercise lets say, done with consent but only for pleasure purposes and Advay too will only use it for that ...I can assure that much 😳

So thats it from me, the next update will have the wedding, hopefully thats if everything goes as planned 😆😆, I am yet to write it, so adios amigas, will speak to u soon. 😳

U guys do leave a comment and let me know what worked, didnt work and or just comment to say hello 🤗
