SRK hits 32 million followers on Twitter

Mumbai: The Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, who unveiled the teaser of his upcoming film Zero on January 1, has over 32 million followers on Twitter now. The superstar took to the micro-blogging site to thank his fans for helping him cross the milestone!

SRK tweeted: " !!! #2ZERO18 ...3.2 Thank u to the 32 million on Twitter! (sic).

For the unversed, SRK plays a dwarf in Zero, a film helmed by Aanand L Rai, best known for directing films such as Tanu Weds Manu, Tanu Weds Manu Returns and Raanjhanaa.

In the teaser that was unveiled on Monday, we can see SRK as a dwarf grooving to a peppy song Hum Ko Tum Pe Pyaar Aayafrom Shashi Kapoor starrer Jab Jab Phool Khile.

The film boasts of spellbinding visual effects and the teaser proves that the makers have incorporated amazing VFX to present create SRK's character in the film.

Also starring Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, Zero, is jointly produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Colour Yellow Production.

Zero will mark the on screen reunion of the Jab Tak Hai Jaan trio SRK, Anushka and Katrina.

Anushka plays a mentally challenged girl in the film while Katrina plays an actress. And it would be interesting to see what a storyteller like Rai has in store for us.

Zero will be Anushka's fourth film with SRK, opposite whom she had made her grand debut with Aditya Chopra's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in 2008. They teamed up once again for Jab Tak Hai Jaan in 2012 and Jab Harry Met Sejal in 2017.

Fans of SRK must be thrilled to see him play a character he has never essayed before but will have to wait until the end of the year to watch the film as it slated to hit the screen on December 21.
