Adi and Pihu both has got into crime accidentally which was severe. Some Similarities and Differences between the two.
Similarities :

| Adi while doing fun did accident of Mrs. Iyer. So it was an accident. | Between the tussle of both the girls Pihu and Ananya, Pihu gave a push due to which Ananya stumbled down the steps which proved fatal. |
| Adi went and confessed about the accident to his mom, Shagun who tried hiding the facts to save him. | Ishita reached the accident spot and saw the happenings and asked the girl to be quiet and took the blame on herself, thus hiding the facts to save Pihu. |

Differences :

| During the whole ordeal Shagun was there to support and console Adi. | During the whole ordeal Ishita was in the jail and she even denied meeting anyone thus eluding herself from all the happenings and living in her own bubble of things fine outside. |
| When things went out of Shagun's hand she stretched her hand and took the help of Raman, Adi's father to save him, hence getting the father into the circle and increasing the strength of the child. | Ishita has not shared the detail with anyone and infact has also taken promise from the child to not utter about it to anyone thus leaving the child to deal with her guilt on her own. |
| When one parent went wrong, the other parent, Raman realised the consequences of hiding the fact on the child and took him to face the judiciary and get punished. | Here, the other parent is totally unaware and so cannot direct the wrong or right path to the other partner and child and so cannot extend any help to the child to gain mental peace |
If Ishita would have told the actual thing to the family then what would have happened.
1) Like at Adi's time, Toshi ji would have begged Simmi to forgive Pihu as it was not done intentionally.
2) Pihu would have to face the judiciary would it have been bad No. How much ever did Param and Simmi wanted they could not do much as IshRa along with both family would have been standing solidly by her side. Secondly, Param and Simmi are not as influential as Raman, so IshRa could have easily proved the whole thing as accident which was the truth and got her done social service like Adi.
3) Facing judicial custody would have got Pihu out of her guilt as it would be doing penance for her fault and she would be living a life of mental satisfaction unlike now.
So would it not have been better for the girl. Even now everybody is facing the consequences as Ishita is not ready to reveal the facts to anybody and nobody else is ready to take the responsibility even though they have got to know few things.
For me Shagun handled the case way better than Ishita in this.
Thirdly, the essence of this show was how a childless mother can still be called as a mother due to her heart but can IshRa or Shagun be termed as one as all the 3 kids of theirs - Ruhi, Adi and Pihu needed the support of counsellor to come out of their mental torture. This itself proves how pathetic IshRa and Shagun had been as parents. CV's in order to move the story forward have killed the essence of the story.
