Hi Peace,
Some very valid points you mentioned. However, I would like to add few points on Guilt.
In my view, guilt and love are two very contrasting emotions. Sometimes they go hand in hand and many times they do not.
The simple reason for that being Guilt is inherently more selfish. Why?
Because in Guilt one is feeling bad for something wrong done to another person knowingly. That is what Sameer is going through.
Another aspect of guilt is that it makes one hypersensitive for some time and that person starts correlating his fault with other daily actions or arguments. It happens with all. Sameer also going through that.
Hence, Sameer's action gets driven by guilt and until he clears that, his love wali feelings are not clear. clear. So, the makers need to show to indicate to underlying love in even small but significant ways which make the viewers clear about the hidden love wala love.
Of course, guilt is also powerful in a positive way that it makes an individual mend ways and be better. Sameer is also showing that. However, it still very unclear about his feelings beyond that.
Hence, from this sorry aspect of reel life or real life, the one to gain is only Sameer.
Only when Sameer has love mixed with his guilt - Then only Naina and Sameer both can be in the bliss of love. Otherwise, it gets again harder for Naina. She receives nothing in return for her love for Sameer and even forgiving Sameer.
