EDT~ eps 47/48, 26/27.12.17, My stance. Red herring!
For me largely, ep. 47 was to provide decoys and trick the audience from the actual serious incident, Ram's body delivered to the wedding venue. The diversion, had to be wrapped in obvious reactions from Rams immediate family members, tears, shock, going into denial. Great performance by Rajan Bedi of forced crocodile tears and brought on commiserations for the bereaving family.
Odhni to me was always one character who was not going to deviate from solving the Shiv case till she got to the bottom of it . Odhni most certainly has Rajan's back up. She is the ideal person to waver attention off himself. Previously Rajan in his wily manner pinned the blame on Madhvi . In this instance , Odhni's presence at the reception gives Rajan the perfect decoy he needed. Thus Odhni is arrested for suspicion of Rams murder and banged up! Bedi's.. seem to be out of the list.. Freddy had do a runner, as in the following episode 48 he will assume girly looks and save Odhni from prison?
In episode 48, focus on the Bedis again is distracted and heaped on Shiv. Sharanya goes into a mad tirade before all blaming this spirit, namely Shiv for the murder of her father! She vows to avenge her father's death .. Shiv hears her bitter screaming accusing rants! and reacts silently in verse.. regards Ram's passing away, and Sharanya marrying Vyom . "life departs from his body..love will never be devotion.Nor will I worship you.you are no more associated with me. I no longer have any ties , or relation with you.. this might be so for Shiv , but now for Sharanya is not about protecting Vyom's life. She married Vyom to give him long time protection! As a back lash to her fathers death, Sharanya will hunt and finish off the spirit! So Bedi's safe from suspicion. Precap shocker! Vyom confesses before Sharanya he knew Shiv!! and Shiv reminds Sharanya , he can still possess him!
Episode 48, is also a good mixture of Sharanya grieving for her father. Natural bereavement process, blaming herself for neglecting him during her marriage preps .Who better to break down before than her husband Vyom. He is supportive obviously. The scene also gives him an idea of what goes through Sharanya's mind. She on the one hand, reasons before him, Odhni to her, has no reason to kill her father! It has to be the spirit..He has good enough reason. Is against the idea of Sharanya getting together with Vyom .. Her admissions show Vyom that none of Bedi's come under her suspicion. To me he lets her believe that the spirit is behind all the evil, from start to finish! It 's Shiv's doing! However.. she recollects Odhni's words that she saw Ram that day, it looked he was running or being followed by someone. Vyom bit phased out half echoes her words. Shranaya though beats on about the spirit killing her dad ,to avenge himself due to her. and because her father got to know about his secret!! Interesting, it might be someone else's identity?? Vyom ears pop up at the mention of word secret! Freddy with some help from Shiv , comes across the important file, that finally gives Shivan identity!.. Sharanya works out Amit too wanted to tell her something about Kapli hills. But he killed him as well!! Vyom plays naive .So she speaks her mind and she reckons if secret is unravelled it 'll lead to the identity of the killer!! Strange Vyom confesses he knows Shiv. Odhni too works out maybe Ram stumbled across something about Shiv's killer? Freddy giving a name to the spirit puts things in perspective.
Shiv's verses..suggest a certain weariness. So tired am I of battling time. She lives within me, although within her I have died hamlet53 28. 12.1.17
Looks like Vyom will get to know Shiv yet again. For me, both episodes provide decoys, Odhni , Shiv, for the Bedi s to pin blames upon. In both episodes Donal, did well as the traumatized daughter along with Odhni and Freddy who stole the show.. in disguise.
